Nigerian modern highlife musician Flavour recently visited the church in Enugu where he used to play to donate musical instruments as an appreciation and remembrance of his root.

I have forgiven Jaywon – Imelda J

Fast rising Benue State born artiste, Imelda Ada Okwori, with the moniker Imelda J made headlines last year after speculations of her ‘alleged’ romance with popular singer Jaywon. In this interview with angeladaviesblog, she talks the alleged romance and other issues.

 
When did you start singing?
I started singing at a very tender age. I started singing before I joined the choir because my mother was into music. So, I grew up doing what she does and so when she saw the passion in me, she gave me her support. But professional music started with me six years ago.

Imelda J drops Jisoro music video

 Africa’s female sensation, Imelda Jane Ada Okwori, popularly known as Imelda J has dropped yet another bombshell.

The songster has added another boost to her music burgeoning with the release of the music video of her single entitled, Jisoro.

Jisoso, which was professionally done in collaboration with NubiaTv and AfropopTv, was shot in Lagos, Nigeria. The head-banging video is a fusion of contemporary dancehall and rhythmic African feel -Makosa.

Nollywood producer, Charles Novia condemns Tiwa Savage’s ‘Wanted’ video

Nollywood producer cum director, Charles Novia has condemned songster, Tiwa Savage‘s new music video “Wanted” which was released yesterday, May 28. The music video was directed by Mr Moe Musa in United Kingdom.

Although the video has gotten over 60,000 views in less than 24 hours, Charles Novia has disapproved of the sexually evocative video. He took to twitter and wrote, “‘Rihanna and Beyonce and all other Yankee gals doing the nude video stuff at least have originality in their insanity. This one is…smh‘‎.

He further wrote, “Rihanna exposes her breasts and booty and a mad fever grips almost every female act in Nigeria to also show their own t*t*. Haba!’ and advised that the thin line between art and lewdness be maintained. ‘When you start exposing punanies & penises in d name of stupid ‘art’ , then those shouting ‘hypocrisy’ shd let their kids go naked to sch‘, he concluded.
