With songs like High Place, Cold, featuring 2Face Idibia, Hot and
Double Traffikator that featured Wizboy to his credit, Super is what
Kaduna State-born Eze Franklin Chekwube, also known as 4real Eze, needed
to announce his emergence on the Nigerian music industry.
Towards the end of last year, 4real’s song, Super, not only ranked
among the most downloaded Nigerian music, it also enjoyed massive
airplay on radio. While the song continues to garner fans for the first
artiste on Don Maseratte music label, the much talked about musical
video of the song, has been released.
Music video director, Clarence Peters, handled the shoot of the
video, said to have gulped millions of naira. Speaking about the video,
4real said, “To be candid, we don’t have intention of shooting the video
but the rate at which people accepted the song, gave us a second
thought, and the demand for the video propelled us to hit location with
Clarence Peters, one of the most sought-after music video directors in
Nigeria.
The track is very fortunate as I have other songs begging for
videos.” However, as 4real’s Super video is currently enjoying ample
airplay on popular music channels, aspiring music star also known as
‘IceCream4real’ has returned with a new song titled Stylee.
The song produced by More Money is learnt to be a New Year gift for
his fans. In his words, “The new single is a New Year gift for my fans
and a way of telling them to expect more from me.
With the way my career is going right now, I believe that the sky is
my starting point. I rarely settle for less and I always try to give my
fans the best. My style of music, dancing step and stage craft are some
of the reasons ladies call me ‘IceCream4real,” he concluded While
Super’s video and the new song, Stylee from Don Maseratte music label
are receiving impressive airplay, the record label’s chief executive
officer, Don Maseratte, has revealed that plans are in top gear for
4real’s club tour.
