Steven Kanumba's burial: People, tears and fainting

First Lady of Tanzania arriving the service

The First Lady of Tanzania, Salma Kikwete led thousands of Tanzanians today to the burial ceremony of one of her country’s finest actors, Steven Kanumba, 28, who died on Saturday, April 7, 2012.

The ceremony which was footed by the government on Tanzania took place in the capital Dar Es Salaam.
Tanzanian blogger Missie Popular reported that over 240 people fainted and were attended to by Tanzanian Red Cross after fainting during the on-going service of Steven at the Leaders Club & Kidondi Cemetary where the service and interment took place respectively, including former Miss Tanzania Wema Sepetu.
