A Nigerian police helicopter being used by the Joint Task Force, (JTF) to monitor the on going security crisis in Jos crashed around noon today, March 14 killing John Haruna, a Deputy Inspector General of Police, his orderly and two others.
The helicopter crashed near a satellite market and Government Secondary School along Rukuba Road in the Kabong area of Jos
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Haruna was one of the newly appointed DIG's sequel to the appointment of Mohammed Abubakar as the Acting Inspector General of Police.
