Eyewitnesses said the incident occured at the Angua Sariki metropolis of Kaduna. Men of the Nigerian Army have taken control of the area to prevent vehicular traffic in and out of the city from that axis.
The Kaduna State Police spokesman told The Associated Press an explosion occurred Tuesday morning, February 14, in Kaduna.
Aminu Lawan said officers from the police's anti-bomb squad said they had found other unexploded bombs in the area.
He howevere said there have been no reports of casualties.
