Bayelsa 2012 election: PDP drops Ben Bruce, Alaibe, Igali and incumbent governor, Timipre Sylva

Ruling party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today screened out Ben Bruce, Timi Alaibe, Godspower Igali and the incumbent governor, Timipre Sylva from contesting in the 2012 Bayelsa Governorship election in its platform.

Reacting to the turn out of events, successful businessman and friend of the president, Ben Bruce said, “It has now become clear that it is not a  competition but a coronation .”

He however promised to continue the fight for the people’s dignity.
