Thursday Update On My Lost Home

Both Shabd's uncle and aunt along with Shabd question Mahi's mother's identity again and Mahi says no matter what, she still feels that's her mother. Cherry tries to poison Veer's mind against Jeet and Soni. Veer gets upset and stands up for his brohter and wife.
He tells Cherry that whatever may have happened in the past, he can guarantee that Jeet and Soni never cross their limits. He tells Cherry to believe him so that she can live with herself. Upon hearing this, Cherry vows to plan something bigger and better. Mahi's mother wants to visit Soni but Mahi tells her it's not a good idea since Soni just returned home. Soni is trying to get a umbrella from the tops a cupboard and is standing on a stool. Veer sees this and is concerned for her but doesn't say anything. Soni asks Veer to take an umbrella with him because of the weather and he is secretly pleased that she still care for him. Veer asks his mother Durga to take care of Soni in his absence. Durga, her husband, and Lovely promote some Hadsaa show. Soni and Mahi talk on the phone and Soni tells her Veer hasn't spoken to her yet but Mahi advice her to take things easily and with time everything will be okay. Mahi's mother wants to go the next day but Mahi again refuses her to visit Soni's house. Mahi's mother overhears Mahi saying what will she tell Soni's in-laws about their mother and the mother says she doesn't remember anything except a huge blast. Meanwhile, Durga and Cherry once again had a huge argument over Cherry's relentlessness. Durga is wondering if she is wrong all along about Soni.

While everyone is eating, Lovely brings Soni to the table. Durga looks at Soni kindly. Lovely talks about a Subji and Mr. Khurana says Durga made it just for Soni. Soni is surprised that her mother-in-law prepared it for her and Cherry is not so happy about it. Mr. Khurana asks Soni if she is going for her check-up and Durga says the Dr. will come to the house and do the check-up instead. Cherry sees this as an opportunity and contemplates about doing something to control the matter.
When Soni is sleeping in her room, Veer comes there. He tries to touch Soni's belly and she wakes up. He pretends that he was just reaching for the pillow to sleep separately. Soni asks him to sleep on the bed but he leaves to sleep on the sofa.

Cherry on the other hand is sitting on the stairs and pretend that she is crying when Veer sees her. He asks her why she's crying and she complains about her lives goings wrong. Veer tells her that he is here to help her through and she tells him that she's not like him to trust people. Cherry again plants doubts about Soni’s pregnancy in Veer’s head and questions who the father of the child is. Cherry brings up DNA test with Veer. Veer refutes her says that he will not refuses her to do such a thing. Both have a lot of argument but Veer point out that he trusted Soni. The doctor comes to check on Soni and draws blood. She also asks Veer to give his blood so she can check to see if the baby is proof of having any genetic disorders. Cherry congratulates the doctor on successfully getting the blood samples and however Jeet hears the entire conversation. Jeet gets fed up with Cherry’s conniving ways, as a result, he decides to leave the house. While Jeet is packing his stuff, Cherry asks him where is he going. He tells her that he can't live with her anymore and he is moving to Bombay because she has fallen so low that he has decided to get the DNA test done. Cherry is surprised to find out that Jeet knows about it. She is pissed and vows to do something within 3 days.

Veer meanwhile is still not talking to Soni but it seems that he is calming down as he has been thinking about her. Later, Shabd and Veer have a brotherly talk regarding Soni. Veer asks Shabd what he think is love may be the fact that she is embarrassed since she was caught red-handed but obviously Shabd is trying to pacify Veer. Soni is playing with Simran and talking to her about a new baby coming to play with her. Durga who now have a change of mind is super nice to Soni is standing there admiring the whole scene with a happy sweet smile when Mr. Khurana catches her. He encourages her to spend some more time with Soni. They take Soni to drink tea with the family.

Everyone raves about the halwa that Durga made. Veer walks in when everyone is enjoying themselves for some tea and halwa time. Mr. Khurana advises Veer to spend more time with Soni since the baby needs both mother and father. Veer leaves without saying bye to Soni which leaves her disappointed. The family reassures her. Mahi is talking to Shabd about the new baby coming and happily talking about what the baby is going to call her. Shabd asks her that if Soni's baby is making her this happy then how happy would she be if they had their own. Later, Mohi asks Mahi to cast the evil eye off Soni and Mahi promise her mother to pay a visit to Soni. Mahi calls Lovely up and she's thrilled about the whole ceremony. Lovely later discusses with her brother and his wife Durga who are extremely happy. They decide to hold the ceremony the following day. Cherry overhears their conversation and she calls up the doctor about the DNA reports and tells her that she wants them by noon the next day. When Veer is driving home in the rain, he remembers when Soni told him to take the umbrella since it was going to rain. He imagines Soni shopping at a toy store with their baby. He gets out of the car and buys a toy plane.

On the other hand, Soni is running in the rain trying to take the clothes off the clothe-line when Veer comes home. He comes with the umbrella and provides Soni shelter from the rain. He takes all the clothes from Soni and throws them away. Veer tells Soni that she doesn't have to do all this and tells her to go inside. They are both walking under the umbrella when Soni slips and Veer catches her. They have an eye-locking session until Veer comes back to reality. Mr. Khurana tells Soni not to do any work around the house anymore and Durga agrees on this. Cherry meanwhile is super pissed off watching all this. Cherry thinks to herself that Durga has only another day to do this and smirks. Soni has caught a cold in the rain and the whole family is waiting hand-and-foot. Veer comes with the toy he bought and he hides it behind him.

Mr. Khurana tells Veer to talk to Soni and tell her to take care of herself. There is some banter between the family which holds no significance to the story. The Ironic scene of the day is when Jeet is leaving and Cherry tries to stop him. Jeet lectures Cherry on the scared bond of marriage and that she never understood what it means. Cherry once again vows that Soni will pay for this.
