Nigeria Rises to 64th in New FIFA Ranking List, 14th in Africa

According to the new FIFA /Coca-Cola rankings published on the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) website today, the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, have risen to the 64th position.
In the ranking table on FIFA’s website, the Super Eagles garnered 534 points as against 513 it had in August when it was placed at the 67th position.


The team, coached by Gernot Rohr, is also now the 14th best team in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Ghana, Congo DR, Egypt, Congo, Mali, Morocco, Cameroon, Guinea and South Africa.
In the international scene Argentina is first while Belgium, Germany and Colombia occupy the second, third and fourth position respectively.
