Mrs. Mwuese Jev, the 73-year-old mother of member-elect,
House of Representatives for Buruku Federal constituency, Orker Jev, was abducted
by gunmen about 8:00 pm from her home in Tombo village, Buruku LGA, Benue State on
Wednesday, May 20.
The woman, according to her son, Orker, was whisked away by
some terrific gunmen. He added that his mother’s whereabouts is unknown as the kidnappers were yet to make any demands.
Police spokesman, ASP Austin Ezeani, said the kidnappers
drove in a red Toyota Camry car in which the woman was taken away.
