Zebrudaya Okoroigwe and Lolo Catherine Olunkwa for Living Legend Award

 


African Focus Incorporated (AFI) has selected Chief Chika Okpala popularly known as Chief Zebrudaya Okoroigwe Nwogbo alias 4:30 as a recipient of the prestigious Living Legend Award billed to place in California in April.
Okpala is easily identified with one of Nigeria’s comedy series titled, “New Masquarde” which got Nigerians glued to their television set between 1983 and 1993. He became famous for using incorrect English in his role as Chief Zebrudaya and continued with that style years after New Masquerade was rested.
Also, Lolo Catherine Olunkwa better known as Getrude Ogbodia Nwaogbo, Chief Zebrudaya’s second wife in the series will be honored with African Jewel Awards for her contribution to the Nigerian literary and motion picture industry. 
The African Focus Incorporated coveted award ceremony will be held on Saturday April 25 at The Concourse Hotels LAX (former Radisson Hotel LAX), Los Angeles California
