Define your style

I will define my style as glamorous, comfortable. I like to be comfortable in my clothes but at the same time look glamorous.

What are the kinds of clothes you love to wear?

I love jackets. I am very big on jackets and accessories like bangles, rings and I love shoes. There is something about the right pair of shoes that sets off an outfit no matter how simple. I can be casually dressed and wear the right pair of shoes and it will take the outfit to a whole new level.

So, what kind of shoes do you love to wear?

Most of the time, I wear high heels but not very high to the point where I am uncomfortable. But I love high heels because they give you gait and they help your carriage.

If you have to show off any part of your body, which would that be?

(She stared up at the ceiling) I am not sure because I don’t like to expose my legs. But wherever it will be, it will be with moderation because there is no way I will outrightly flaunt. I will not wear a short skirt but I will wear a knee length skirt. Also, I won’t wear a very low cleavage-revealing outfit but I will show a little bit of cleavage. It is about moderation for me.

What is that clothing item you would not be caught wearing?

A mini skirt because I don’t like to expose my legs and thighs.

What is that fashion item you cannot do without as a woman?

I would say accessories. No matter how simple what you wear, accessories such as the right earrings, necklace, ring, and bangles pop out the outfit.

What is your signature perfume?

My favourite signature perfume is Daisy by Marc Jacob. It has this very sweet floral beautiful smell.

What is your greatest fear in life?

It is probably to not make heaven at the end of the day. I don’t want to live my life and lose out on that final thing which is heaven.

Who is your fashion role model?

I will say Eva Mendez, an American actress. She always wears the perfect thing in my own opinion. She always wears the right outfit for the right occasion and she is not afraid to repeat an outfit. In Nigeria, it would probably be Nike Oshinowo because she is always nicely turned out at an event.

Who is your role model in the music industry?

My biggest fan of all times in the music industry is Mary J Blige. I like the fact that she has been consistent over the years; she is true to her music and the music is very personal. She is always telling a story of something she is going through or about something she wants people to relate to. So that is something I really admire about her.

How do you love to carry your hair?

I am almost always wearing a wave usually very long either a side or centre parting because my hair is a bit short and it is difficult to manage. I braid every now and then but the time to sit and get it neatly done is not available. So even though I love braids, I don’t carry them a lot.

How do you relax?

I listen to all sorts of music like soul, jazz, rock, R n B but I am not big on highlife.

How do you love your nails?

I don’t like my nails to be long. Usually all I do is the French tip so wearing a red nail polish now is unusual for me but I am actually loving it.

What’s your beauty routine?

I am a get-up-and-go girl. I am not very stuck on routines but I try as much as possible not to go to bed with make-up. I wash it off and moisturize.

What puts you off in people?

I don’t like fake, pretentious people; that includes fake accents, people that pretend to be what they are not and people that go about bragging. It is a huge turn off for me.

How do you handle your male fans?

I appreciate them but I try to keep them as fans. You have to be courteous to them but you have to remain within certain boundaries.

How do you keep fit?

I exercise when I don’t fall off the wagon. I go to the gym and I try to work out at least thrice a week.

Who is your ideal man?

He is one who has the fear of God, patient, tolerant and one who loves me.

What’s your best colour?

Blue. I love different shades of blue. I love bright colours but it changes but blue is my all-time favourite. It is a beautiful colour.

What kind of books do you love to read?

I love to read romantic fiction, true life stories and autobiographies.
