| Police: Nigerians are waiting for good news |
Suspected gunmen attacked a town hall today, January 6, 2012 where Igbo Christians were holding a meeting killing at least 20 people.
www.angeladaviesblog.blogspot.com gathered that the gunmen were chanting "God is great" as they fired Kalashnikov rifles through the windows as people ran for safety.
The attack occurred in Mubi, Adamawa State as Igbo traders held a meeting before opening up their shops for business, local police commissioner Ade T. Shinaba said. Shinaba blamed Boko Haram for the killing.
The gunmen also carried knives and machetes, the police commissioner said. No arrests have been made in the attack, which left at least another 15 people wounded.
