Friday Update On Gangaa, Dec 7, 2018

The principal comes looking for Gunwanti. Gangaa inform her that her mother is ill so she has gone to her house. The principal Ma wants some papers from Gunwanti because she had received a call from the Principal of Lawrence School and she has to submit them today only, adding that the peon is on off today. Gangaa offers to go and come back as soon as possible. The principal Ma is hesitant but Gangaa insists. Sagar drinks juice and Amma says he don’t have to dance and nothing happened to him but what if something had gone wrong.
Sagar wants to dance but Madhvi sides with Amma that he don’t have to put his life in danger. Sagar asks her what has happened to him. Madhvi says he is weak. Pulkit adds that he can participate next year. Sagar insists upon participating this year only because he have practised so much for it and he won't drink juice too if they don’t let him participate. Sagar makes Amma agree for it somehow. Outside, Madhvi asks Amma why she agreed. Amma replies that Sagar won't understand anything if they say no to him at the moment and suggest to let's him get better and also promise to talk to him.

Gangaa collects the papers from Gunwanti’s house. Gunwanti’s mother gives water to Gangaa and inform her that Gunwanti will come in a while as she has gone to bring medicine. Gunwanti’s mother coughs. Gangaa suggests bringing water for her but she asks for her pump. Gangaa notices a few photos on the wall. Gunwanti’s mother feels better after using the pump. Gangaa asks her about the photo. Gunwanti’s mother shares that Gunwanti was a very good dancer back in her younger days because she wanted to make a name for herself in dance but she had to give up all her dreams because girls weren’t allowed to do anything like that in their time. She got married later and it never happened again. Gunwanti's mother further says she wonder when she will see the smile on her daughter’s face again. After Gangaa finds out that Mrs. Gunvanti used to be a professional dancer, she thinks of something and immediately leaves for school. The school gets over by the time Gangaa is back. She stops her friends from going home.

The principal Ma thanks Gangaa for her timely help. She asks the girls what they are still doing in school. Gangaa shares that she has stopped them because she have found a dance teacher for them. Gunwanti comes late as her mother was ill. The girls stay back because of Gangaa as she has found their dance teacher. Gunwanti asks Gangaa who is it. Gangaa blunt out that it is Gunwanti herself that will teach them dance because she have learnt it from a very big Guru and she have won many prizes too. Gangaa further tells him that she know how much she ( Gunwanti) love dance and they had a dance teacher in their school only and asks who else should they turn to then?. Gunwanti says she haven’t practised since many years and wont be able to do it now, adding that maybe her faily too will object. The principal reasons that she only has to teach the kids dance and doesn’t have to perform on stage. Assuring Gunwanti that she can talk to them if she want to. Gunwanti denies and insist that it’s been so many years and asks what will she teach them?. The principal try to convince her that talent never goes away and encourage her to try once. All the girls also request her. The principal adds that their school is participating after so long because of Gangaa and asks Gunwanti if she want the dream of the girls to fail because of lack of a dance teacher?. Gunwanti finally agrees. Gangaa thanks her and tells the others students that she told them they will find a dance teacher.

Gangaa doesn’t look happy and comes to talk to Sagar but he is again listening to music. She removes them and asks what happened to him as everyone is so worried about him. He denies claiming that he is perfectly fine. But she must be happy that he won't be able to participate as he is not well now?. She replies that she only competes with someone who is equal and he is on bed and taking so many medicines to stay strong and that one has to do it on their own. He is sure of his victory. She shares with him that she found a dance teacher and he makes fun of her as she knows no dance forms. She relates that one who tries wins and remind him that Niranjan sir says so. He insists that the Inter School Competition is very tough. But Gangaa refuses to accept failure without trying. He starts coughing so she gets him water and politely remind him that he have no strength to talk and tells him to get well first then they will see who wins. They challenge each other.

MLA’s senior the same lady chief guest from Lawrence School tells MLA to act fast that she cannot keep this at bay for long as the issue is very sensitive. She adds on that if he fail in this responsibility then he know the consequences too. She ends the call. MLA Shrivastava gets angry. He scolds his goons for being incompetent as they couldn’t find that girl or CD. The goon informs him that they have deployed their people at the hospital and they will question him as soon as he gains conscious. MLA orders him to check all the CCTV of the area where he had seen the girl. Gangaa meanwhile switches off Sagar’s laptop telling him that he need to get well first and asks how will he take part in the competition if he isn't well?. She tells him to take her medicines and rest and promise that he will get his laptop only when he get completely fine. They both fight for the laptop. Sagar calls his mother and Gangaa stays put that Niranjan sir too would have done the same. Madhvi too seconds Gangaa, she tells her son to get well first and then he can use it. She reminds him that he even dance while sitting on the bed and lovely tells him to take his medicine. Sagar refuses to take medicine as he does not like it. Gangaa points out that it isn’t jalebi that he has to think of the taste. She then tells him that he won't be able to take part in the competition if he don’t take it. Sagar takes the medicines and Madhvi smiles in relief. Gangaa says she will keep the laptop with her till he get better and tells him to take it from her when he is fine. Sagar stomps his feet angrily. Madhvi tells him that Ganga is saying this for his good only.

Gunwanti explains to the kids that they have to be disciplined to do anything in life including dance and they must not take it casually as people spend their whole lives learning such skills and art. As she plays a song, the girls don’t look so interested as it is classical. Gangaa thinks that Sagar and his friends will be dancing on a latest song. She adds that they will be able to win by dancing on this song?

Bulbul too wants something modern too dance and asks who dances on such songs today?. Gunwanti says her doubt aloud that they can make it interesting. She plays a video where people are dancing in modern style on one of the latest songs Radha Kaise Na Jale. The dancers perform in a mix of forms and the kids look relived now. The first rule of dance is to keep their shoes in one corner. Meanwhile, she makes some marks on the floor. The girls are supposed to take position accordingly only. Gunwanti tells them to copy her moves and expressions. The girls follow her brilliantly. Bulbul is learning fast as she is a very good dancer. Gangaa is also trying her best and the other girls have to try harder. Bulbul does not want to waste her time as she knows everything already. Gangaa reasons that this isn’t wasting time and they need to work together for the group dance. Gunwanti seconds her and says this is called group work. Next she makes the girls practise standing on their toes saying they have to balance their body posture and move. Gunwanti keeps motivating them.

The dance teacher wonders how they will continue the rehearsal in Sagar’s absence. Yash shares that Sagar won't come. Chandan offers to take Sagar’s position and the dance teacher agrees but just then, Sagar enters. Chandan looks miffed. Pulkit requests the dance teacher to stay with his brother as he have to look after him and make sure that he takes medicine on time. The dance teacher is a little sceptical but Sagar tells him that he will do it. Chandan tells Sagar that he won't be able to do it and tells him to ook at his health. Sagar tells him against it that he know Chandan wanted to take his place but someone has told him never to give up even in times of trouble. He remembers Gangaa’s words. They take their positions. The minister asks Shankar to find the evidence cd in Niranjan's house, not knowing that Amma lives in the same house. Shankar reaches the area where Niranjan lives. He tracks down Niranjan’s house and goes towards the house to have a closer look. Amma and Madhvi have got something to give to a Sadhu outside. They donate food and cloths to the Sadhu. Shankar is at a nearby shop. He initially misses seeing Amma but then notices her side face. Curiously, he walks closer and he collides with a man on cycle and gets into a verbal duel. Amma is irked as people lose their cool so soon nowadays. She goes inside by the time Shankar turns to look at her.

All the girls are eating lunch. Gangaa is happy that she was right and they found everything one by one. She adds on that their school will only win and asks Bulbul if she is right?. Bulbul nods with a smile but is not happy. She thinks of something. She goes away on the pretext of meeting some teacher as lunch break gets over. Gunwanti tells them to finish their food and resume the practise but Gunwanti cannot run the DVD player. Bulbul smirks and says this is not going to start and will see how their team leader widow practices for the dance competition. Bulbul had removes the wires, cut them and then had fixed them again. Everyone would have found out about it if she had removed the wires. Now no one will find out as she have joined it again. She keep talking to herself that Gangaa think she is too smart. Gunwanti is in a fix and says if they send it for repair then it will take 2-3 days for sure. Gangaa recalls she had seen Sagar fixing a similar problem in the past and gets an idea that she will fix it. She sets down to work. She puts the DVD in the laptop ad connects the music system with it and it starts working. Gunwanti is very impressed with Gangaa and so are all the girls.

Bulbul’s friend (Chaya) tells Bulbul that now Gangaa has impressed Gunwanti Ma too and alert Bulbul that she might take her place some day. Bulbul vow that she will never let it happen and claim that she know how to ruin her plan. Meanwhile, Gunwanti makes 3 groups of 4 girls each. Gangaa and Bulbul are in separate group. Gangaa’s group is in the center and the groups have to cover the entire stage during their dance. Gunwanti cannot tell exactly how many steps they have to take. But Gangaa suggests going there only to practice. Gunwanti replies that they will need to give 5k for the booking daily and they cannot spend that much money. Gangaa reasons that they must know how big the stage is if they have to win. Adding that they must know how many steps they have to take on which side. Gunwanti nods but she also knows that they have no way to find out this. Gangaa wonders how they will win if they don’t have an idea how big the stage is.
