She tells Abhi everything that someone told her he was in the cold storage and was very angry and so she should come along to stop him. She tells him that the manager told her the entire way to the old storage and when she went inside the manager closed the door. She told him he was a sardar. Just then, she feels warm and takes off the jacket but puts it back on when Abhi looks. Abhi asks her if she saw his ID or name badge. She says he did not have any badge or ID. He then scolds her for just following a random stranger but Pragya justifies saying that she was worried about Abhi and so she just went with him without thinking. They bicker sweetly and he keeps scolding her. He softens up when he sees her pout. Pragya thanks Abhi for taking care of her. Abhi then decodes the plan and says to Pragya that the manager gave her the wrong information that he was in the cold storage. Abhi says all this only means someone had made a plan to kill her. He says he will have to find out who the manager is. He leaves the room asking her to stay right there.
Abhi bumps into Purabh who is just about to leave Aaliya's room. Aaliya asks him if everything is okay and Abhi tells Purabh, Aaliya and Tanu about his doubt that according to what Pragya told him, someone had planned to send Pragya into the cold storage to kill her. Abhi who suspects that Pragya's incident was a planned conspiracy says he has to find out who the man was. Purabh is a little shocked to hear it but figures that it is Aaliya and Tanu anyway. Aaliya is shocked as Abhi suggests that they look through the hotel CCTV footage for suspects. She stops him somehow and tries to distract him from the plan and says he should first take care of himself and Pragya as the man must have run away till now. She asks him not to focus on all this. Abhi who is hell bent on finding out who has done this gets angry and says he will not leave the person who tried to kill Pragya. He is about to leave then remembers that there was a CCTV camera in the cold storage and decides to check them to find out about the person to track the man.
Sarla is worried about Pragya and just then Daadi calls her. Sarla senses her hesitation and asks if something is wrong. She does not tell her the truth thinking she might get worried and only tells her that Pragya is at home with them and Abhi.
Abhi says the entire cold storage had many CCTV cameras and the person who brought Pragya there must have been captured in them. He asks Purabh to get the footage as Aaliya and Tanu get really scared. As Purabh decides to go Tanu stops them saying that it is possible that CCTV cameras are false or maybe the hotel staff will not give the footage. Abhi tells her off and tells Purabh that he will deal with the hotel and that he is certain the hotel staff will cooperate with them. Purabh looks at Aaliya-Tanu and swears to get the footage somehow. He goes to get the footage. Tanu and Aaliya are worried if Nikhil is recognized, they all will be in problem.
Daadi and Daasi assure Sarla that Pragya is completely fine. Sarla requests them to let her talk to her for once but Daadi says that she is busy with Abhi right now. A relieved Sarla hangs up saying that she will talk to Pragya in the morning. Tanu reaches Nikhil's place to tell him about Abhi's investigation and they start bickering. Nikhil calls the CCTV guy asking him to delete all the footage but he refuses to do so. He tells him that Purabh is already here and he can't do anything. Nikhil and Tanu panic about the situation as she decides to leave.
Before Nikhil realises, Tanu leaves his house. Abhi who was sleeping on the couch wakes up in the morning and finds Pragya in front of him who is smiling in her sleep. He keeps looking at Pragya. She wakes up with a smile on her face when she looks at him. They wave at each other and get up as Pragya reminisces about their old times together. She turns to see that he has gone and he enters with some juice for her. He asks her why she was smiling when she was asleep and she tells him that she saw a beautiful dream. Purabh enters the room asking Pragya how she is.
He comes with the footage and asks them to come downstairs to the living room where they will play the CCTV footage of the cold storage room which he got from the hotel. Abhi asks her to freshen up as Pragya wonders if Aaliya and Tanu were involved in everything that happened. Purabh tells Aaliya that he has the footage to the cold storage and asks her to pray for her life. Aaliya starts panicking and blames Nikhil-Tanu for everything. In her nervous state, he think that they will recognize Nikhil. And if Nikhil is caught, Tanu will also be caught and she will also get into problem because of them. Abhi, Pragya, Aaliya, Tanu and Purabh enter the room where he plays the footage.
Daadi and Daasi also sneakily watch it. They all can see a guy locking Pragya inside the cold storage but nobody is able to identify him as the video is not clear. Aaliya and Tanu are relieved there is nothing that points a finger at them. Pragya tells Abhi that the manager guy took him inside the cold storage and then disappeared. Abhi asks Purabh to rewind and takes a picture of Nikhil in the Sardar disguise. They look at the scene where Abhi resuscitated Pragya to life and she walks out of the room as she gets embarrassed. Daadi and Daasi are proud of what Abhi did. Purabh enters to join them in the happy moment. Purabh who realises that he is standing in the way of Pragya and Abhi’s happiness says that this is the moment where he needs to play his last trick which will remove all the barriers that come between Pragya and Abhi’s relationship and leaves.
Pragya comes back to Abhi's room and smiles to herself thinking about the footage. She thinks of the time she resuscitated him to life and wonders if he will confess his love to her. Abhi on the other hand enters the room wondering if Pragya is angry that he gave her mouth-to-mouth. He is not aware of the fact that she is actually smiling. He calls her and she turns around. Abhi nervously apologises to her for what he did and Pragya does not understand his problem. Finally Abhi clearly says that he gave mouth-to-mouth to her and she might be angry because of it. He even drops the beaded bracelet he wears nervously. Pragya sees Abhi so nervous.
She asks him to sit and gets water for him. Pragya asks him to say whatever he wants to say without any tension and she will not feel bad. He explains the entire situation to her in detail that she was freezing to death and he got afraid. He did all this for himself as he did not want to lose her and she tells him that she understands him. He almost says that he can't live without her and stops midway to sit down again realizing Pragya is Purabh's girlfriend.
Abhi explaining to Pragya about why he had to resuscitate her. Pragya tells him that she didn't feel bad about it at all. An excited Abhi hugs her and tells her how relieved he was when she woke up. He tells her that she has to live for him to be able to live. She tells him that she would have done the same thing if she was in his place and he acts breathless. They share a cute romantic moment with each other. Beeji and Janki start bickering and taunting Sarla for restlessly waiting for Pragya.
Sarla tells Beeji that she is quite used to Pragya being around and Beeji taunts her that Pragya is not only her daughter, but also the daughter-in-law of the Mehra’s. They can anytime take her back. Sarla gets a little upset but Beeji calms her down. Sarla gets emotional and says that it is difficult to live without Pragya. Abhi gives Purabh a picture to give at the police station to find out about the killer in disguise of fake manager but Purabh behaves weird as he doesn’t want to go to the police station. Purabh says that he will not waste more time on Pragya. He refuses to do so. Abhi feels weird, he asks Purabh to be protective for his girlfriend. Purabh says why he has to run after the police station and hotel for Pragya when Abhi feels so strongly for her. Purabh reminds Abhi about resuscitating Pragya and says if Pragya is his girlfriend then what was Abhi doing with her in the cold storage room. They get into a fight as Purabh acts insecure. Abhi justifies why he did it but Purabh accuses him of being over protective about Pragya and crossing his limits. Abhi is shocked about what Purabh thinks.
Purabh then tells Abhi that he always looks for excuses to be around Pragya and he crossed limits with the cold storage incident. Abhi loses his cool and is about to hit Purabh but stops. Purab smirks and asks if Abhi wants to slap him then he can, but that won’t stop him from saying the truth. He tells Abhi that he will expose Abhi's true feelings for Pragya to everyone. He tells Abhi that he loves Pragya when Abhi stops him. Abhi tells him that he doesn't know what Pragya was going through in the cold storage and it was important to save her life.
He also adds that he doesn't care what people think of him. Purabh asks him why he doesn't think what others will think about this. Abhi gets confused and Purabh says that he knows this question has been bothering Abhi for a long time. He then asks Abhi why he doesn't think of or see anything when Pragya is around. He asks Abhi to shut his eyes and think about that moment before he answers his ( Purabh ) question.
Abhi is not able to answer his questions and Purabh then tells him that he is going to break up with Pragya since he respects Abhi's feelings. Abhi questions him and Purabh says that he is breaking up with her so Abhi can make a move. Purabh tells Abhi that he must confess his feelings to Pragya and that she is made for him. Purabh also confesses that they had just put an act so Abhi can confess his feelings for her. He tells him that he never was in a relationship with Pragya and that he lied to Abhi that he likes Pragya. He just wants to make Abhi jealous and insecure. His purpose was to make Abhi realise that Pragya is his real love and he is doing wrong with her by marrying Tanu. He has seen Abhi’s face in Pragya’s company. Abhi should not sacrifice his love and life.
Purabh then opens up about the pictures that got released on Abhi's engagement and tells him that truth about everything, without mentioning Aaliya or Tanu. Purabh tells him that Tanu is not the right girl for him and he knows Abhi loves Pragya. He should confess his feelings for Pragya. Abhi is puzzled and refuses to believe it when Purabh gives instances where Abhi proved his love for her. Purabh asks if he feels the same way for Tanu which he feels for Pragya.
