The doctor tells Abha that Karan's condition is critical. Jagmohan tells his mother that Abha is responsible for Karans condition, but she disagrees with him. Later, the doctor tells everyone that the next 48 hours are very crucial. Uday threatens Abha to break all ties with her.
At the hospital Chandra comes to Abha, she doesn't say anything and she slaps her. Uday is stunned. Abha tells the entire truth relating to the whole incident and how she had got married. She also tells everyone that Karan married her to save her from Jagmohan. Chandra starts crying. Meanwhile, Jagmohan,Shelly and Vimal also arrive there. Jagmohan asks the doctor about Karan and the doctor tells him that Karan's treatment started immediately after his wife signed the papers. Jagmohan is left shocked. Jagmohan also sees Karan lying on the bed. He is angry and upset whiles Abha is standing there as well.
Shelly goes to Abha and she rudely asks her as to why she is behaving like the daughter in law of their family? Abha furiously replies her back. Abha tells her that her husband is between life and death at present. She also tells Shelly that she is in no mood to listen to her comments. The doctor comes there and asks for Karan's wife. Abha quickly rushes to him by saying that she is Karan's wife. The doctor tells her that Karan's condition is critical. Abha requests the doctor to treat Karan well whiles Lata consoles her.
Uday is sitting at the temple and he remembers Abha. Shelly asks Sheetal as to why she couldn't stop Abha from meeting Karan and surprisingly Raghav sees this. Jagmohan gets to know that Sanskar is responsible for the accident. He slaps him and asks the police to arrest him. Sanskar is very sad and thinks why Abha did this to him. He also remembers some lovely moment he shared with Abha. Grandmother and Veer also comes to the hospital. They are very sad to see Karan. Grandmother and Abha hug each other and Abha cries a lot. Grandmother puts all the blame on Jagmohan and Jagmohan in turn also puts all the blame on Abha.
Abha sees Karan from outside. He has gain consciousness. Abha is about to go inside when Uday holds her hand and tells her to chose between him and Karan. Abha is left shocked.
Karan is looking at Abha as his eyes are partially open. Abha also looks at Karan. Uday leaves her hand. Abha doesn't say anything but everyone understands that she chose Karan. Uday tells Chandra that they should leave the hospital immediately but Chandra tells him that they should take Abha along too. Uday behaves in such a manner as if he doesn't know who Abha is to them. All of them are shocked. Uday and Chandra leave whiles Prakash, Lata and Sanskar stay behind.
Abha is about to go inside to meet Karan when Jagmohan holds her hand and stops her. He tells Abha that he cannot accept her as his daughter in law and Grandmother hears but she doesn't say anything. Abha requests Jagmohan and pleads to him by saying that Karan needs her a lot. She adds that Karan is injured and she cannot see him in such a condition. She begs Jagmohan to let her go and meet Karan. Jagmohan leaves her hand and all of them are left in awe as Abha goes inside.
Jagmohan and the police meet Karan. They ask him if Sanskar is responsible for the accident and Karan says no. He tells everyone that he was careless whiles crossing the road and it is not Sanskar's fault. Abha is happy but Jagmohan is not. Karan and Abha stares at each other and smiles. The others also come inside. Grandmother sits next to Karan and tells him that his love and faith won as Abha accepted their love and marriage in front of everyone. All the others are quiet. Karan is very happy whiles Grandmother and Abha hugs each other. Lata comes inside to take Abha home but she tells Lata that till Karan is in the hospital, she will be with him. Lata agrees and leaves. Grandmother assures Abha that they are all with her.
At Raghav's house, Uday is furious. Lata, Prakash and Sanskar return but Abha doesn't. Chandra asks Lata where Abha is and Lata tells her that she will be with Karan. Uday tells everyone that Abha is dead to him. He goes into Abha's room and furiously removes all her photos and throws away all her clothes. He then goes to the temple and he takes some water. He is about to make a resolution when Sanskar stops him. Uday gets back to normal. He tells everyone that his daughter has left him nowhere as he cannot face the society anymore whiles Sanskar consoles him.
At the hospital, Abha prays to Ganpati for Karan's fast recovery. She then says that she is happy to get Karan but sad as her parents are not with her. She asks God if He had planned so then why did he make her fall in love?
Abha continues to pray to Ganpati by asking him to give her more strength to face the diffciculties that she is going through. Just then Saniya comes and consoles her. She also tells her that she is brave and that love conquers all. Sania tells her to go to Karan as he needs her. Abha goes to see Karan. She sits next to him and she is thinking how Uday had told her that he wont have any relation with her hence forth. Karan sees her and tells her that he cannot see her sad. He then asks her if she is sad as her parents are not with her. Abha says yes. Karan tells her that they will convince them as well and everything will be fine. They both stare at each other and the song"Tum Mere Kaun Ho plays".
Just then Abha tells Karan that it is time to give him his medicines. Karan tells Abha that the medicines are very bitter so he wont take them. Abha insists and gives him the medicine. Karan starts coughing and feels sick. Abha helps him and takes care of him whiles Grandmother and Jagmohan sees this.
Grandmother talks to Jagmohan and tells him that Abha and Karan love each other a lot as they are already married. She adds that moreover, Karan's happiness dwells in Abha. Jagmohan agrees to accept Abha as his daugther in law. Grandmother tells Jagmohan that she herself will go to Abha's house and talk to her parents to bring her to Swarn Bhavan.
Grandmother reaches Raghav's house and she tells Chandra that Karan and Abha are already married but then they havent got married according to the rituals and Abha's "send off" has also not been done. Uday angrily tells her that Abha is dead to them. He adds that he will not do her send off and he goes inside. Chandra however tells Grandmother that she is right. She adds that they must do Abha's bridal farewell with all the rituals. Chandra tries to talk to Uday in other to convince him for the send off ceremony but he doesnt agree at all. Chandra tells Uday that every "send off ceremony" is the dream and right of all parents but Uday still disagrees. Chandra leaves by telling Uday that he has a very hard heart.
Chandra tells the others that Uday didn't agree. Sheetal then asks as to who will do the send off ceremony. Chandra tells everyone that she alone will perform the send off ceremony.
