Sunday Update On My Golden Home

Thakur recovers from the attack. Raghav is tensed about arranging money to pay for the hospital bill. Meanwhile Karan searches for Abha as he can't stop thinking about her. Jagmohan tries to help his daughter in -law (Shaili) with money and he also assures her not to worry about anything. Karan happens to bump into Abha at the hospital.


At the hospital. Samarjeet visits Thakur in the hospital. Abha sees Prakash being insulted when he is looking out for a job.

Life doesn’t get easier as financial constrains arise.  Abha sells off her gold earrings to pay for her father's medical bills. Prakash feels humbled as the sight of his sister selling her jewellery devastates him. Prakash returns to the hospital and tells his mother that he does not see a point in supporting his father's fake pride. Prakash tells his mother that he will start working like a common man to support his family.

The story then takes a surprising twist as Abha supports Prakash's decision and decides to join him. Abha also tells her mother that she will also work to support her family.
The doctors inform Chandra that Uday Pratap has shown excellent recovery and can be discharged from the hospital. However, the doctors also warn her that Uday Pratap's heart is still in a weak state and must not be put through any kind of emotional upheaval.

Abha and Lata goes back to their uncle's house. Upon seeing them, Brij asks them about Uday Pratap's health condition.  Abha tells Brij that her uncle will be bringing him home soon. On the other hand, Sheetal jumps into their conversation and also tells Abha and Lata that they have brought in a good news and she shall prepare a meal for everyone. Abha tells Sheetal not to stress herself so much as she will manage.

Abha asks her father whether if it was OK for women to work. Thakur answers her that it wasn't a bad decision for girls to work. But he sternly tells her that she (Abha) shouldn't dare think about working.

Everyone is eating at the dining table whiles Sheetal mention that the gas used for cooking is running out. She taunts that nowadays the gas runs out pretty fast. Everyone present on the dining table face expression changes. Prakash tells Sheetal that if Lata goes back to her matrimonial home,  their expenses will reduce. Lata then thinks of going back to her husband, Samarjeet.

Lata tells her mother that Prakash said the right thing and that if she leaves a person's meal can be saved and her uncle's wife (Sheetal) burden will be less. Abha decides to  work as there is no way out.

Abha comes into her father's room to serve him tea and coffee.  She also comes along with the newspaper. Whiles they are both talking, she sees an advertisement for work on the newspaper. Abha plans to immediately call up to fix an appointment. Faith plays a cruel trick as she gets the shock of her life when she hears the address to be "Swarn Bhavan"

Thakur Uday Pratap flips through the newspaper and complains to Chandra Prabha that there is no recent news about Swarn Bhavan since they left their ancestral home.

Meanwhile, Lata is shocked to hear that Abha is going to work in Swarn Bhavan.  Abha tells Lata that it was her dream to become an advocate but now she has a chance to become a sectary for an advocate (Jagmohan Prasad) at Swarn Bhavan.

Abha informs her mother about her new found job and she leaves for her interview. She goes into her father's room silently to seek his blessings whiles Thakur Uday is asleep.  Abha walks along Swarn Bhavan and remembers her sweet childhood memories. She is about to step inside Swarn Bhavan but the security on duty stops her and asks her what she wants. She explains to the security man that she was there for an interview. Whiles she was waiting at the entrance. Abha once again takes a second look around their ancestral home and starts to cry as she remembers all the good times she and her family used to share in Swarn Bhavan.
