Monday Update On Iron Lady

Kutumb questions Indira about the pregnancy issue, but Munna intervenes and accuses Indira of having an affair with Rishi. He also asserts that Indira was pregnant with Rishi's child. Indira gets angry and asks Rishi to go upstairs.
When Rishi leaves, Kutumb asserts that she cannot take Indira's responsibility anymore. Indira gets furious and reminds Kutumb that she had never taken care of her. Indira adds that she was not married yet as Kutumb continued to be in relation with Inder even after he abandoned them. She adds that none wanted to marry a girl from such a dysfunctional family. Fed up of her family members, Indira declares that she would neither respect them nor worry about them henceforth. She also announces that she would find a groom for herself within a month's time.

Meanwhile, Sameer comes to Sharma Niwas and overhears Indira's decision. He decides to take advantage of the situation. While leaving, Sameer dashes against Jhumpa who marches towards Sharma Niwas along with other women from the neighborhood. Jhumpa insults Indira for getting pregnant before marriage. She asks Indira to leave Chandni Chowk as it was a respectable area. Indira gets furious but does not reveal the truth as she had promised Sunaina that she would not inform the family about her plan to abort her pregnancy. However, unable to tolerate the abuses hurled at Indira, Sunaina intervenes and states that Indira was not pregnant instead she only helping her conceal the truth that she wanted to abort her pregnancy.

Jhumpa and Munna are left shocked. Jhumpa, however, continues to insult Indira. To everyone's surprise, Inder arrives and gives Jhumpa one tight slap. Inder tells Jhumpa that he had always supported her in creating problems in Sharma Niwas but he would not tolerate anyone assassinating Indira's character. Jhumpa fumes with anger and threatens to teach him a lesson Jhumpa returns home and vents her anger on Inder as he slapped her when she insulted Indira. She also threatens to avenge her insult. Inder gets wounded and falls unconscious when Jhumpa hits him. Sameer, who plans to propose marriage to Indira with the sole purpose to takeover Sharma Niwas, enquires with Radhey about Indira. Rishi is puzzled when he sees Indira surfing a matrimonial website and enquires from her. Indira states that she was firm on her decision of getting married within a month.

Meanwhile, Radhey suggests Sameer to convince Munna to accept his proposal for Indira. To stay along with Indira even after her marriage, Ishaan advises her to marry Rishi. Indira does not agree and taunts that Rishi cannot take her responsibility as he does not have a good job. Rishi feels hurt and thinks that he could have proposed marriage to Indira but to his dismay he cannot reveal his true identity to her. Indira calls up Vidit and informs him about her decision. Rishi overhears their conversation and is left worried. After Indira disconnects the call, Rishi questions as to what would she do if Vidit dies or never returns home. Indira gets furious and slaps Rishi hard.

The old lady (Amma) who leaves at the terrace overhears their conversation and tells Rishi not to hurt Indira as she hopes that Vidit would return home one day and take the responsibility of the family. Kutumb is worried as to who will take care of the household expenses if Indira gets married. She calls up Inder and shares her worries. She also informs Inder about Indira's decision to get married within a month. Inder too gets worried but pacifies Kutumb and asks her to keep a keen eye on Indira.
Indira misses Vidit and longs to meet him.

She reads Vidit's old letter, whish reads that he would take the responsibility of the family after he returns home from the US. Meanwhile, Rishi tries to charge his laptop but it causes short circuit. This results into power failure. Indira is puzzled when the electricity suddenly goes off. Rishi comes to Indira's room to ask her about the fuse box so that he can repair it. Indira directs Rishi to the fuse box. While repairing the fuse, Rishi advises Indira to upload a good profile picture on the matrimonial website so that she gets good proposals. Indira refuses and taunts Rishi.
