Satya kisses Mahi on her forehead. Raj looks at his son and his daughter-in-law’s picture. He try to move his hand in order to touch Siddharth and Roshni but he is unable to. Satya notice this and assures his grandfather not to worry that he will become his voice and body parts. Raj looks at him. Satya says he will look good once clean shaven, and kisses on his hand. He says this is his family, Satya’s family and he won’t let this family break. He have to find out about the person on whose signs, his aunt mother-in-law Anupama is dancing to his/her tune. He burns something outside the house. His aunt mother-in-law asks what is he burning? He says he is their gardener and burning something to rid of mosquitoes. His aunt mother-in-law asks him to stop burning it. Satya comes to the room when she goes out and checks her phone. He learns about a suspicious number from his aunt's mother-in-law phone and decides to find out as to whose this phone number is. He then calls someone and asks to get information about a number. His aunt mother-in-law sees him hiding and gets doubtful.
Satya begins tracing the number but his aunt's mother-in-law, Anupama learns about his move hearing Satya’s phone conversation and thinks to divert his mind and do something. Since Anupama plans to divert Satya's mind and plans to makes her way out of trouble. She meets Satya and Kritika and and says she is not bad as they think. She says today is lohri and tells them that she has decided to throw a party on the festival of Lohri and requests her family to participate. She gives them clothes and asks Satya and Mahi to get ready for the party. Kritika thinks her mother-in-law is accepting them, and asks Satya not to doubt on her. Satya thinks what is going on in his aunt's mother-in-law mind. Later in the evening, Mahi gets ready and wears Salwar Kameez. Satya comes there, holds her hands tied and romances with her. He compliment her that she is looking like Punjabi today and calls her Mahi Sen Gupta. But Mahi correct him and says she is Mahi Karanveer Khurana. He asks why she got ready today. Mahi says for her ranjha and smiles. They fall on bed. Satya says she couldn’t spend even 2 minutes with him and gets closer to her. Later Satya is about to apply vermilion on Mahi’s forehead.
Kareena comes there and says she also want vermilion on her forehead. Mahi explain to her that only married woman applies vermilion on their forehead and is about to apply on her forehead, but Kareena throws it away. Satya tells Mahi to let it be. Kareena apologize to her and leaves. Mahi and Satya romance again. Later Satya gets a call from detective, saying that he has sent the proofs in envelope. Kritika's mother-in-law hears him and says envelope, wondering who will bring it. Kareena dances on the song Ladki beautiful. Satya and Mahi also join her. Kritika's mother-in-law sees them busy in dance and receives the envelope. She then decides to hide it.
Kritika's mother-in-law introduces Satya to the guest and asks them to question Satya where he was and what he was doing? The guest asks Satya if he missed his father. Satya couldn’t understand her and replies wrongly. He asks her to take drink, but mistakenly makes it fall on her purse. The guest lady gets angry and says he can’t be Siddharth’s son as he have no etiquette.
Mahi gets angry on her and talks in English. She scolds them that are not going to change and points out to them that he apologized to her when he mistakenly dropped champagne on her. She says Satya is having manners and values, which the girl and the guests don’t have. Anupama ( Kritika's mother-in-law) opens the envelope and gets shocked seeing the proofs. She deletes her boss phone number and thinks where to throw the paper, and decides to burn it in Lohri fire. She keeps the papers in lohri fire and says Satya will be Swaha too (The Lord of the Fire ). Satya comes there and tries to take the papers, but it is already burnt. Knowing that Satya sets her up to try and get the truth behind who she is working for, Kritika's mother-in-law accepts that she has burnt the papers, as she don’t like it.
Determined as ever, Satya tells her that he will expose her and show her vampish face to his family. Anupama challenges him. Satya says she have never faced him before. He holds her hand. However, Anupama plays him at his own game as she also sets him up to try and tarnish his name among members of the Khurana household, she shouts and tells everyone that Satya tried to burnt her hand. Kritika and Satya are shocked. Anupama says she have done so much for him, and he is spitting venom against her, adding that she can’t stay here anymore. Satya asks her to stop her drama, and says it was her act to divert their attention. He promises her that he will expose her true face, else his name is not Satya. Anupama says someone should send him to mental asylum. Kritika angrily says it's enough and asks her nephew how dare him accuse her mother-in-law.
Anupama asks Kritika to accuse him, and says the mistake is of his upbringing and of his chawl, where he was brought up. She says he don’t deserve to be Khurana. Mahi angrily asks her to stop it. Kritika apologizes to her. Mahi puts ointment on Satya’s hand. Satya admit that he is not equal to his dad Siddharth Khurana’s reflection also, and says he is weak and couldn’t expose this woman. Mahi says she don’t know what to do. Satya says they have to do something big, and asks if she is with him. Mahi assures him that she is always with him.
Karanveer/Satya writes a letter to Kritika, stating that he would be leaving the house as he can’t see the house daughter-in-law’s insult. Upon learning this, Kritika is shocked and decides to meet Karanveer and stop him from taking any such actions. Satya tells Kritika that he was not hurt when strangers were insulting him but he was hurt when his own aunt hurt him. She apologizes to him and tells him she didn’t bring him here to let him leave, and adding that he have done a mistake. She reminds him he have her brother’s blood and asks him to change his ways of living and lifestyle. Satya says his lifestyle can’t change and that he felt bad when tears came in her eyes. He is scared that she will be teary eyes if he stay here, and that he can’t tolerate it if someone tries to ruin their family. He want to inherit his father’s values and customs and not his habits. Kritika says she know what she is doing and stops him from leaving. Mahi makes Satya wear formal clothes and teach him etiquette and style. Kritika teaches him table manners. Later Kritika asks Deepak that she is going somewhere. Mahi brings breakfast for her and asks about Satya. Kritika says he is changed now and even his foot steps sound is changed. After being humiliated by his father’s friends, Satya who has one more chance to show everyone how competent a son he is, makes an entry in style. Kritika blesses him. Mitul is surprised to see him in suit and calls him Siddharth Khurana.
Satya smiles and says no, she correct her that he is Karanveer Khurana, his new name and identity. He was leaving rented life till now, and he will keep his old identity near to his heart. He clearly says Karanveer is born today, and his mum gave him life, adding that his aunt is his mum. Kritika is emotional hearing this. Satya says she made him called as his dad’s son, and he is thankful to her. Kritika is emotional and hugs her. Satya thinks to start his plan to expose Anupama. Mahi looks on smiling.
Satya comes to Mahi and asks what she is doing? Mahi says she is making cake. Satya asks if he can take off his clothes to help her. They have an eye lock while Ruhdariya song plays in the background. They romance in the kitchen. Kareena comes there and asks what they are doing? She then says she will also play this game and asks him to let her apply cake on his face. Satya tries to stop her. Kareena manages to applies chocolate on his face. She then asks him to apply on her face. Mahi says even she made chocolate preparation and gives her chocolate. Mahi and Satya get closer. Mitul and Kritika come there. Mahi shows them the cake. Kritika's mother-in-law also comes there and says she will eat cake. Mahi says she can’t have this as she made boiled vegetables for her. She reminds her that she have diabetes, so she will have this. Anupama angrily turns to her daughter-in-law, Kritika.
Kritika says Mahi is saying right. On hearing this, Anupama gets upset and goes. Later, Anupama silently comes to the kitchen and have it, thinking Mahi made delicious cakes but unknow to her that Satya sets her up to try and get the truth behind who she is working for. Satya sees her eating the cake and thinks to take his plan forward. She feels drowsy. Satya and Mahi scare her as ghosts. Mahi asks why you was troubling Satya and her (Mahi ) before dying. Anupama asks if she is dead. Mahi and Satya tell her that she is in hell, and threaten to send her in big hell. They ask who is behind the plan. Anupama tells them that she was doing this on boss orders and is about to tell his/her name, but just then Kareena comes there and hits her on her head. Anupama faints. Satya and Mahi ask what she is doing here. Kareena says she thought to play game with them and wear superman dress. Mahi compliment her that she is looking good and asks her to sleep.
Anupama ( Kritika's mother-in-law) wakes up and realizes that her head is aching a lot. Upon recalling something, she realizes that she had eaten a cake which might have had something mixed in it. At the same time, Karanveer/Satya and Mahi show up at the scene and offer her lime juice and begins insulting Anupama for her decision to pose harm to Karanveer and his family. Later, Anupama decides to meet her boss and inform her about this. Satya says he know that she will go and meet him. Anupama meets her boss and says she couldn’t work for him anymore, she tells her boss that she had that cake and then what happened with her next, she doesn’t know. Satya comes there and tries to see the boss’s face. The boss drives his car and hits Satya with his hand. Satya falls down on the road. Mahi runs to him and asks if he is fine. Satya says he escaped, but he got his belonging.
