Wednesday Update On Lies Of The Heart Episode 469 - 472

The choreographer team is busy teaching Ishaani some dancing step and Alok, when Urmi comes in looking for Rani. Damini tells Urmi that Rani went to the village. Urmi is surprised. Damini lies that her mother got seriously ill and hence she had to go. Urmi wonders why wasn't she told.

Damini says that she didn't want to bother her in all the marriage preparations. Urmi is sure that Rani won't go anywhere without telling her. Damini reminds her that Rani had come to tell her, but she was busy. Urmi asks why didn't she let her speak then. Damini says that she didn't want to disturb her, hence she sent her off with money. She asks if the money is enough for her. Damini reply that she give her more than enough. Urmi is still boggled and tensed. To change the topic, Damini gets Shaurya also to dance. He is irritated. Ishaani try to convince him to dance but he refuses. The team gets them all to dance. He asks if Diya isn't dancing. Damini says that Diya is upstairs practicing dance with Sumit. One of the instructors, teaches dance steps to Diya and Sumit, as it's a romantic waltz. As the instructor continues, Sumit says that he needs a short break. The instructor leaves to check on others. Sumit compliments her dancing skills, and she thanks him. Then he gets her close, and says that she looks beautiful. 

 

Shaurya passes by just then and hear this. Sumit tries to get romantically intimate with Diya, while she is at discomfort and expresses it to him. But he asks her to relax, and leans in to kiss her. She looks away, extremely uncomfortable. Shaurya sees this and comes in asking what's he doing. Sumit casually says that he is just romancing his would be wife. Shaurya points out to Diya that she is the would be wife, and not his wife yet, and asks him to back off aggressively. Diya is tensed at his reaction. Damini comes in to watch the drama. Diya too tells Sumit that she isn't his wife yet, but then sees Damini, and changes her tone, saying that Sumit is right, as he will be her husband tomorrow, and hence it's perfectly okay, and he is no-one to interfere in their relationship and it's understanding. Shaurya is hurt and wonders how can she talk like that, and what about what Sumit was doing. Sumit clarifies and asks what was he doing wrong. But then he tells Shaurya that since his wife supports, he better not interfere. Shaurya eyes him angrily. Sumit asks him to leave, and when he doesn't, he asks Diya to tell him to leave. She is distraught but does ask him to leave. Damini comes in applauding Diya for the way she stood for her husband, and then asks Shaurya to let Diya spend sometime with her husband if she wants to, and asks him to focus on his dance. She then apologises to Sumit, and asks him to spend as much time as he wants to romance his wife. She asks him to budge but he doesn't. She asks him to then care about her respect if not his. He still doesn't budge. She then asks Diya also to get Shaurya to go. Helpless Diya, she complies. Shaurya is Apalled and leaves in a daze. Damini eyes him evilly. Diya is upset. Damini thinks that Shaurya left the room, but Diya will leave the world, and then the world will see this sham of a marriage, where Diya departs with a bang.

Then the mehendi ritual begins, while all are dancing and making merry, and Diya tries to keep up a cheerful face. Inwards she is distraught. Asha asks if the mehendi contains the groom’s name. The lady says that she has already done so, for the groom to find. Damini says that all rituals are happy and merry, except for the farewell, that will bring tears in everyone’s eyes, as Diya has come so close to them. Damini thinks about her evil plan. Diya sits upset. Damini gets a call, and gets to know that the three tickets to europe have been booked, and she asks him to deliver the tickets personally to her only. He complies. Anirudh asks Ishaani where Shaurya is and she says that he is in the house, but doesn't know where. Diya remembers the way she treated him earlier, and is upset.

On the roof, Shaurya is completely drunk, while Chiku asks him to stop, as he has never drunk this much before. Shaurya says that what happened today was the first time too, and narrates what happened. Chiku says that it's his fault. Shaurya says that his fault is that he loved Diya. Chiku says that indeed it is, and asks him to confess it out to her, as she doesn't even know what's the matter. Shaurya says that he tried, but Diya doesn't care to listen. Shaurya asks where should he go, while Chiku says that it still isn't late and there’s still time. He says that there’s mehendi going on, and he can't do anything now. He is hurt at the way she treated him, infront of Sumit. Chiku insists him to go and tell Diya, as there’s still time, before Diya leaves forever. Shaurya says that she can go, as then she might be happy. Shaurya, in his inebriated state, tells Chiku that he madly loves Diya, and can't afford to lose her. Chiku is extremely upset and tensed. He screams out incoherently, that he loves Diya, oblivious that she is approaching the roof, searching for him only. Chiku says that they all love him, and Diya must have had a reason to behave like that. But he says that Diya has completely gone mad for Sumit and only sees him, and he isn't able to bear that. Diya arrives at the roof. Shaurya then in his fit of anger and frustration, screams out that he hates Diya, from the very core of her heart, her name, her face and everything about her. He says that he should go today only, if not tomorrow, as he has to bear the 24 hours. Diya hears this from a distance and is shocked, hurt and appalled.

Diya is deeply hurt and disturbed at what she heard from Shaurya and comes down. Urmi meets her and asks what the matter is as she looks tensed. She doesn't tell. Urmi asks her to come and join the Sangeet, and not sit sad and gloomy. She complies. Ishaani dances on an old song, while Chiku somehow composes Shaurya and gets him down, while he is still drunk. He wipes off the tears off his face, while Diya eyes him overwhelmed with mixed emotions. He too eyes Diya, extremely sad and hurt inside. Sumit continues to cajole her, while she is uncomfortable as she eyes Shaurya, who is pained too. Ishaani engages Shaurya too in the dance, and they kiss each other. All clap for them. Alok says that now it's time for the most awaited performance, of the bride and groom. All cheer with claps. Sumit extends his hand and Diya accepts it, and joins him on the dance stage. Shaurya too claps tauntingly. But Sumit accidentally sprains his leg hitting on the table, and then apologises that he won't be able to perform the dance now with Diya. They are all tensed. Shaurya hears intently. Damini says that Sumit won't, but Diya can. Diya says that she can't alone. Ishaani too says that it's a duet performance, and she needs a partner. Urmi suddenly suggests that Shaurya can be a perfect partner, but he says that he can't, as she is marrying Sumit. Urmi asks him to be a sport and join Diya, as it's just a formality, and Sumit is hurt. Shaurya denies. Damini taunts that Diya has always been supported by Shaurya, and can't he do this now, for his friend atleast, as Diya will be gone forever tomorrow, and this is his last chance to enjoy with Diya. Diya and Shaurya both are tensed. The rest of the family however cheers them on.

Finally, owing to parental pressure, Shaurya comments to Diya, that this is helplessness, as he has no interest in taking the place of her husband, Sumit. Finally, the dance begins on a highly romantic number, wherein Shaurya expresses his love as well as hatred, while Diya is in tears. She tries to go, finding it extremely painful, but he holds her back, and then continues to dance. He eyes her mehendi containing her groom’s name, and is hurt. Diya is extremely upset. Shaurya too recluses away, and she tries to hold onto him, but stops herself consciously. He does the same when she turns away. Then out of anger, he turns her around, and gets her to continue dancing. All enjoy, particularly Damini. All clap as they finish. Shaurya too claps tauntingly at Diya.

The next morning, Diya prays to the lord, saying that she is very scared and that she does everything for the good, and hence has trust in the goddess, that she means well to her. She says that she is helpless but not her, and she has the trust in her, to show her some sign, some signal, if there’s anything uncertain to the marriage, she needs to be shown a way.

Meanwhile, in her room, Damini get the travel company’s call and asks why weren't the tickets delivered so far. He says that their delivery boy didn't come today, hence they couldn't send it. The travel agent says that he has faxed the tickets to her house, and she is shocked, tensed that if the tickets land in anyone else’s hands, she would be in great trouble. Damini asks when he did, and he replies he just sent them. Damini rushes out tensedly, when Ishaani stops her, asking for the fitting. But Damini hastily tells her that she will come later, even though Ishaani insists. Ishaani is hurt, as she rushes off from there rudely. She comes to the home office and to her irritation finds Anirudh working in the laptop, while she thinks that she can anytime get that fax. She asks what's he doing. He says that he is working, so that he can work peacefully in the study room. She tries to distract him, asking him to arrange for the final minute details. She tries desperately to get him out of the room, while he asks what's remaining for finalisation. She says that the tent needs to be looked upon. He asks her to go instead. She continues to romantically and caressingly ask him to go, but he pelads her to go instead as he is extremely busy. He says that he needs to file an IT return, today being the last day. She pretends to be lazying on the sofa, and then stealthily unplugs the fax machine. She says that now he can work for all she cares, as the work has been done. She leaves after she unplugs the fax machine as part of her cover up plan.

In his room, Shaurya wakes up extremely upset and with a bad hangover. He gets up tensed and worried, and Diya comes in with lemonade wishing him good morning. He is shocked to see her, and merely wishes her back curtly. She gives him the lemonade, for the hangover. He asks why she brought it. She says that it's her last day today in this house, and requests her to take it, teary eyed. He gets emotional too. She says that he is very happy, that the girl who gets him will be lucky, and that she is fortunate too to have found a family in them, as she would have known who are true strangers and family to her. She adds that she has understood who truly stood out for her, and she learnt this from him. She says that she is going, but not alone, as he would be there in her determination, her ideas and in her memories. She wipes her tears. She tells him how they have transformed her from a broken girl to the Diya that she was again. He is in tears, as Diya comes to him apologising saying that she has lost all rights to say sorry, but doesn't want to lose the rights to say thanks. She admits that she must have hurt him terribly, by her harsh, stinging words. She thanks him for everything, and that she wishes that whatever he wants in life, he should get it. Shaurya is emotional at the irnoy. She says that she is going, and then turns around and leaves. Shaurya looks at her going. He is sad and depressed.

Sumit calls up Damini, who is tensed for the tickets, asking about the same. She tells him what happened, and says how she fixed it. She asks him to go and get the tickets from the travel agent. He complies.

In her room, Diya is surrounded by ladies along with Asha, teasing her about her marriage with Sumit. Just then, Damini comes in, and finding Diya sad, again reminds her to be happy, and not carry this sad, morbid and dreary look on her face, that's a dead give away. Urmi comes in with the puja thali, that she had prayed for Diya’s happiness, and asks Diya to have the faith that the lord will never do wrong for her, and she will be safe from all troubles, and no evil spirits. Damini smiles otherwise, thinking that an evil spirit has already cast it effect on her and her happiness. She presents her wedding dress, thats come from Sumit’s place, and asks her to wear this only. Meanwhile, accidentally, Diya turns around, while damini keeps asking her to smile, and collides into Urmi, who spills the lighted Diya on the dress, and the wedding dress, bursts into flames. Seeing that Diya's wedding outfit accidentally gets burnt, the ladies start commenting as to how bad an omen this is, that the wedding dress got burned. Urmi douses the fire, while damini smiles evilly. Diya is distraught. Urmi wonders what will Diya wear now.

Ishaani and Shaurya come in with a new dress, that she says her brother had asked her to prepare it as a wedding gift, and that it's good that she designed it, since it came in handy, now that her dress is ruined. Urmi is relieved. Diya smiles, while Shaurya eyes her lovingly. Anirudh comes in saying that there’s an urgent call for Urmi from the hotel, on his cell. She takes it and excuses herself. The manager of the hotel tells her that her signatures are needed on the tax return papers, as today is the last day. She reprimands the manager for keeping things pending at the last minute. He suggests that he will fax them, and then she can sign them and get it sent back to the rstaurant. Urmi agrees. Urmi decides to go to the study to sign the papers and finish the work. She arrives and then tries to fax machine but finds that it isn't working. She finds the switch unplugged, and plugs it back in. When the machine works, some papers come out. Urmi finds that they are tickets for Sumit’s family, to europe, as they arrive in the fax. She wonders who might have gotten them fazed here. She is boggled, as to how is this possible, as that very night, Sumit has to get the baraat for Diya. She is boggled as she finds out about the flight tickets and extremely tensed as to what's going on, and if sumit will come tonight or not. She swear that she will not let this injustice happen to Diya, as this marriage will take place, at any cost and whatever it takes.

Later in the evening, the mandap is set, while the priest makes all the arrangements, with the help of the ladies of the house. Asha asks Shaurya if the gajra is here. He says that Chiku will get it. Damini oversees it from the balcony. Meanwhile, Urmi tries to go out, but Alok stops her. Alok says that the baraat will come any minute, and asks if Diya is ready. Urmi says that she will be, as Asha is with her. Shaurya too stops her and asks where is she going. She says that there’s no reason in giving him tension, and decides to check it herself first. He senses his mother tensed, but doesn't persist. Urmi accidentally throws the papers on the floor. Damini picks them up and asks what are these papers. She lies that she is going to the restaurant. Damini asks how can she go to file tax right now. Urmi takes the papers the first chance she gets and leaves. Damini is relieved that Urmi didn't do the fax of the tickets.

In her room, Diya is dressed up by the chatty Asha, who keeps giving her marital advise. Diya is amused, and then asks about Urmi aunt. Asha says that she only sent her, to dress her up. Shaurya comes with the wedding jewellery. Asha gets Diya to try it on. Shaurya begins to go, while Asha teases him to get married now too. He starts blushing looking at Diya, while she tries on the jewellery. Asha asks him what kinda girl he wants. He then begins to describe the exact opposite of Diya, as he eyes her lovingly. Asha asks where would he find such a girl. He says that if Diya can find Sumit, he too can find the girl. Diya says that he will definitely get the exact kind of girl he wants. He emotionally eyes her. Asha continues to dress Diya up, and then she finally looks at herself in the mirror, dressed as a pretty bride.

At Sumit’s residence, Urmi arrives at Sumit’s house, and wonders why it's so silent and lonely, as if it's the marriage house, then why is there no baraat ready. She deduces something is amiss, and knocks on the door, after no-one responds to the doorbell. Finally, the servant opens it, and she asks about Sumit and his family. He says that he doesn't know where they went. She tries to ask him where they went. He says that they went abroad, and asks her to come after a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Urmi hears the voice of someone asking for help, but the servant wards off her concerns. She says that Sumit is supposed to get married, then how can they go like this. She again hears the voice for someone asking for help. The servant starts fumbling. Urmi rushedly and insistently gets inside, throwing the servant aside. She finds a door locked, and opens it to find Rani, tied in ropes. She is shocked and asks what's all this. She unties her, while Rani then narrates her the entire story, of Damini’s evil plan with her friend. Rani hugs her and cries. After she discovers that Damini is behind everything, Urmi understands that Diya’s marriage is a sham and a fraud, to spoil her prestige, and that even her apology to Diya was fake. She vow that she won't allow this game to continue anymore. A determined Urmi tells Rani that she will not allow her mother-in-law Damini and her evil intentions to win, and that she will see to it, that the marriage happens.

At Urmi’s residence, all the wedding celebrations are in full swing, when Damini comes dressed, saying that she has waited tremendously, for this unique wedding of Diya, that will soon turn to ruin. The reporters throng the residence and then ask Damini what are her views on Diya’s marriage. Damini starts being noble and says that Diya came in broken and depressed, and they tried to help her in which ever manner they could, and that it's good that they organised a wedding for her, as they had promised her one. They ask about Shaurya and she says that he must be around. They then ask about Diya, if they can have some pictures of her too, but she asks them to wait till the groom arrives. The reporters ask when will the baraat come. She evilly smiles and says tha she is waiting as impatiently for it, as they are.

In her room, Diya is highly nervous and tensed, as she sits in front of the goddess. She asks if she won't come to bless her, as a mother’s blessing always counts, and that she will have to come to give her strength, as wherever she is, power comes itself. A girl starts coming. She goes to Diya, and tells her that her baraat came, and that it's a big, grand one. Diya smiles. The veil of the girl falls on her head by the wind, and she takes it as a sign of the goddess, as the girl runs away from there.
