What You Should Know About Sameeksha Sud (Asha Gaurav Singh)

Indian born Sameeksha Sud better known as Asha Gaurav Singh in the Zee World series, Doli Armaano Ki (Lies of the heart) is a delight to watch. She adds fun and drama to the series. You can’t help but love this dumb-witted, illiterate and naïve wife of Gurav.

The role portrays Asha as a young kid who doesn’t have a mind of her own, is completely clueless about the happenings around her, believes and follows whatever people around her tells; it is only her husband that matters to her. However, Asha is good at heart as well as family oriented.

Sameeksha Sud nicknamed Rano who is also a model has a Diploma in Computer Science, but the screen captivated her more. She made her career debut with SAB tv serial Baal Veer where she played the role of Pari in 2012. She began her acting career by working in Telugu films. Her debut appearance was in the Telugu film “143” in 2004. She played the role of Sanjana, the female lead.

She played small roles in a number of Tamil movies and Kannada film. She also tried her hand in Punjabi films like “Lucky Di Unlucky Story”, released in 2013 and a few others. She has also appeared in various TV commercials like Zatak cool talc, Maruti Suzuki, Tang and many more.

She loves Adidas perfume. Her favourite colours are pink and green while her favourite places are Norway and England. Sameeksha also works with an NGO’s that helps poor children. Her hobbies are singing and dancing.
