Kanhaiya catches him but the theif hides himself in a shawl. He throws some small playing balls and Kanhaiya looses his balance. The theif escapes leaving the vegetable bag.
Both Sona and Kanhaiya are shown locking the door from inside and angrily asked Sunaina to give them the locker keys. Sunaina says she won’t whiles Kanhaiya forces her. Sunaina moves forward whiles Sona tries to take away the keys. Sunaina shouts and finally realizes that it was just a dream and thinks that she won’t let this happen in reality. Sunaina goes out and sees Sona coming inside. She then asks her where she went so late. Sona replies that she went to glve Kanhaiya a cup of tea. Sunaina asked if Kanhaiya himself asked her for tea. Sona is surprized.
Kanhaiya informs everyone in the hall that the theif escaped. Sunaina angrily says that Sona is responsible for it because Kanhaiya was busy taking care of her. Both Sona and Khanaiya are surprized. A senior inspector comes and he asks Kanhaiya to solve out the matter and arrest the theif otherwise it will be a matter of shame. Chiku gives Kanhaiya a letter dropped outside and Kanhaiya reads it out. It reads that Kanhaiya tried his best to catch him but he won’t stop yet and he challenges Kanhaiya that his next stealing will be in Kanhaiya’s house itself and if Kanhaiya fails to catch him then he will have to resign. All get shocked after he finished reading. Kanhaiya decides that he will anyhow find the theif or otherwise he will resign from his post himself. The senior inspector wishes him all the best and Sona goes out to see him off. Sona is worried over Kanhaiya’s decision but Kanhaiya assures her not to worry and he will find out about the theif today itself, as he himself told about his next place of stealing. And since both will be free the next day so he will spend time with Sona. Kanhaiya moves close to Sona and she moves up the stairs and so as Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya takes her to the wall and blocks her way from both sides and with loving eyes look up at her. Sona says that its not their bedroom but Kanhaiya replies so what? He further on says they are both married and so nothing is wrong. Sona fells shy and he moves out of the block and runs inside. He strikes with Sunaina. Sunaina tells both Sona and Kanhaiya that she believes that both of them remember the mannerism of chaturvedi niwas. After Sunaina goes , Shy Sona goes inside and Kanhaiya smiles cutely.
Bindiya and Renu comes to Sunaina and makes excuses for getting late and not helping in ram navmi pooja. Also both of them says that Kanhaiya’s decision is wrong and what if he looses. Uddham is also suspended for the moment and what if Kanhaiya resigns. Bindiya and Renu blames Sona for it. Sunaina listens to everything. Sona comes and offers help for ram navmi pooja. Sunaina with a no expressions on her face asks Sona to go and sleep as she didn’t sleep the last night. Sona wanted to object to it but Sunaina asks her to go and sleep. When sona leaves Sunaina asks Neelam to purchase pooja items from the market and nothing of the household items should be used in pooja work. She asks Neelam to remember it as a strict precaution. Bindiya comes to Sona in her room and apologizes for her wrong deeds. Sona forgives her and tells her that money is not that important. Bindiya asks Sona about ram navmi pooja and Sona replies that if mummyji asked her not to do anything then she is happily satisfied with her decision. Bindiya tries trapping Sona in her words and asks her to help Sunaina in pooja work without her seeing her. Sona thinks that the idea is nice and Bindiya asks her to make the prasaad for pooja. Sona agrees. Kanhaiya sets his police team all over his neighbourhood along with hulchul and bajrangi and vows to catch the theif anyhow. Sona walks into the kitchen and decides to prepare Prasad that everyone in the family would like and also that Suhnaina will not be angry with her. The police are investigating at the colony. The neighbors says that at least today there will be no theft in their house as everyone will be coming over to Suhnaina’s house for Ram Navami and they will also get the prasad. She also says that Kanhaiya will surely be able to catch the thief. They asked when Suhnaina will start preparing the prasad? Suhnaina says that Neelam have gone to buy the things to make the prasad as she never makes use of the things at home to make the prasad because she buys the things freshly in the market. Sona is preparing the prasad in the kitchen while Suhnaina’s neighbour praises Suhnaina for being very particular in preparing the Prasad. Renu sees Sona making the prasad and smiles. Suhnaina is waiting in her room while Neelam enters with the things. Suhnaina asks why she was so late, Neelam says she could not get any rickshaw. Suhnaina says ‘alright, go and prepare the Prasad’ they hear Sona’s voice saying ‘the prasad is ready’. Sona is smiling while Suhnaina and Neelam are shocked. Sona enters and informs them that she has made the prasad and smiles. Suhnaina says ‘you made the prasad? Whom did you asked?’ Sona is shocked and says Mummy ji, i thought of helping you and Suhnaina says ‘you were not helping. This is your first Ram Navami in this house and you should ask me before doing anything.’ Sona says sorry and Suhnaina says ‘do you know how grand the prasad made by the Chaturvedi and we make it using fresh items but you used the things in the house.’ Sona says i really didn’t know this and Suhnaina says ‘why didn’t you ask? Now what will you do with the prasad’. Kanhaiya hears this and enters the room asking what happened? Suhnaina says ‘your wife made use of the things in the house and made the prasad for Ram Navami’ Kanhaiya says ‘i know its wrong but its not a big mistake’. Suhnaina says ‘what Kanhaiya! Even after hearing all this, you are supporting Sona?'
Kanhaiya was about to say something and Sona stops him while Suhnaina tells Sona to ‘shut up’ . I am talking to my son! Kanhaiya says ‘i know it was a mistake but it was not on purpose. What happened is over’ Suhnaina says ‘alright for you sake. Both of you are right and i am wrong. Next year onwards, your wife can make the prasad but i will make the prasad this year’ Both Renu and Bindiya are happy and leaves. Sona is in tears and Kanhaiya consoles her. In the night, the police are guarding the house while guests starts arriving. Kanhaiya sees a person with the head covered and goes to pull the person from entering. Kanhaiya brings him away. Kanhaiya says ‘all your truth will be out now’ and Kanhaiya slaps him. The guy says ‘i am not a thief and i came here because i heard they will be giving prasad. ‘Kanhaiya asks ‘then why are you covered with a blanket?’ The guy says that he is poor and he is scared that he would not be allowed in. Another constable confirms the same and Sona gives prasad for the guy and leaves inside. Kanhaiya gives some money to the guy to keep and the guy leaves whiles Sona watches.
Kanhaiya looks around while Sona admires him. All the preparation for the pooja is being done in the house as the guests enters in hoping that Kanhaiya will catch the thief today. Someone is shown entering the kitchen and the prasad container is shown. Sona looks at the kitchen and notices that the prasad container is missing she enters the kitchen and looks around. Sona sees her room door open. Sona picks up a broom and enters inside her room where she hears a sound and starts hitting the person shouting Thief! Thief! and Kanhaiya says ‘Sona ji, its me!’ Sona says ‘i thought that it was the thief Kanhaiya says ‘I thought the thief was entering here.’ Sona asks why he brought the prasad container in their room, Kanhaiya says that he is afraid the thief might steal it. He furthermore says that Sona is a perfect candidate to be a police. Suhnaina enters the room and sees Sona and Kanhaiya together and asks what are they both doing there? Suhnaina sees the prasad container and asks who brought it here? Kanhaiya says that he brough it. Suhnaina asks if it was also Sona’s instruction? Kanhaiya is about to argue back but says the thief had challenged him and he felt that the thief’s target could be the prasad . He placed the prasad here so that the CCTV could capture the thief which was his plan. Suhnaina says its a ridiculous plan. Sona says that she feels this plan will surely work out. Suhnaina says ‘as you both say’ and leaves. Kanhaiya replies his hands are paining and Sona says lets leave. The prayers are going on while Kanhaiya is looking around but the electricity suddenly goes off. Sona says ‘Prasad!!!’ to Kanhaiya where both Sona and Kanhaiya runs upstairs. Suhnaina asks Udham to check the electricity. Udham on back the main switch. He says that someone switched off the electricity. Sona and Kanhaiya enters inside the room and finds the prasad missing and there is a note. Kanhaiya reads the note that says the thief have kept to his promise and its Kanhaiya’s turn to keep to his promise. Kanhaiya is angry and leaves the room and starts looking around. Sona says what about the CCTV’s? Kanhaiya says the thief knew that there is CCTV and yet the thief got away. Kanhaiya is shouting in anger and everyone turn and looks. Kanhaiya informs about the prasad and his senior officer says ‘what has happened has happened and we should not take what the thief said seriously. You concentrate in catching the thief ‘and Suhnaina says that the officers were right. Sona signals that they are right and Kanhaiya says once he said something, he will not change it. Its either he catches the thief or resigns. The officer asks Kanhaiya to think properly but Kanhaiya says he has made his decision and everyone is shocked while Durgesh smiles.
Kanhaiya with a heavy heart tries to remove his medals but looses courage. Again he manages to get strength and removes his police belt and revolver and hands it over to his senior inspector. All are shocked and sad except the happy Durgesh. Kanhaiya removes all his stars received for his work and sadly smiles and hands it over. He starts to salute and then remembers that he has resigned and did a namastey to the inspectors and sadly goes from there. At the hall Kanhaiya arrives in a T-shirts and Bindiya starts blaming Kanhaiya for his decision and says that Kanhaiya is right at his place but he must not have been so over-confident. Sunaina says that Sona is the reason Kanhaiya did what he did. Kanhaiya in an upset mood says why is it that Sonaji is blamed when he took the decision himself infront of everyone. Sona comes for an explatination but Sunaina stops her and asks not to interfere between a son and a mother. Sona askes Sunaina to listen to her too and give her a chance to speak. Sunaina blames Sona for Kanhaiya loosing his job to which Kanhaiya goes all angry and asks them to stop and says that No one but only he had loosed and asks them to stop argueing and sadly goes from there. Renu and Bindiya are happily talking about their plan getting successful and that all daughters in law will depend on them now. They are not going to give much money to mummyji. Darshana comes and says that there is nothing to eat whiles Renu and Bindiya talks about Durgesh never helping in household activities. Kanhaiya is depressed and looks at his uniform and remembers the day he became an officer and today when he resigned. Sona comes to him and says sorry. Kanhaiya asks Sona not to blame herself. Kanhaiya says that all will be fine but he is sad that now he won’t be able to do anything for his country and in his life he loves 2 things the most..his family and his job and if someone ever asks him to choose anyone from it then he himself will not be able to take the decision. Kanhaiya tries to smile and says inspector Kanhaiya and then realizes what he said just then. He says that now Kanhaiya is an ordinary man who won’t be able to do anything for the welfare of his country now. Sona places her hands in his and sees a letter lying on the floor and reads it out. Julie(Replaced with new pretty looking girl) returns back from her tour and Ladoo, Hulchul and Bajrangi comes to Kanhaiya and sadly says that they will also resign. Kanhaiya asks them not to do so and smiles and happily tells them about the importance of being on duty. Hulchul says that since he resigned, No Cahauris are ordered at the police station. Kanhaiya looks at Sona and happily says that they will all together eat the Cahauris of Nekram sweets. Ladoo says that some people were badmouthing Kanhaiya about him loosing his job and his inability to catch the theif. Kanhaiya gets angry and says that who dared to say bad about Inspector Kan and then he realizes what he said and sadly laughed and says that now he is a normal man. and not a inspector. Durgesh who was watching all this indirectly says that some people were flying in air with proud and now they falled to the ground. Kanhiaya gets angry at his words but seeing Sona he cools down and happily says to his police friends to come with him to Nekram Sweetcenter. Sona says to herself that Kanhaiya is hiding all his pain in his heart but she will not let this happen and she will get back the dignity and job of Kanhaiya and that too with full respect.
