Tuesday Update On Hello Pratibha Episode 70-71: Pratibha Organises Mahen's Event Without Him Knowing

A huge misunderstanding takes place and it leaves Pratibha and Mahen's relationship in a worse state as Mahen hear Prathiba telling her mother that she want some change in Mahen and he has to change himself.

 Mahen is standing behind her, he came near to Prathiba’s mother, touches her feet and leaves. Namarata is cooking in the kitchen she had all the flour in her face and her meal had also burnt, Sumitra enters the kitchen and sees Namrita's messy face. She asks her if something is wrong and just, the doorbell rings and the guests have arrived. Namarata tastes the meal and says that it's too salty. Rishi enters the room while Namarata is panicking as the food is burnt and salty. Rishi shows her that he had brought all the food from outside and further tells her that it's alright as she did tried her best and nobody wants to know the truth.

Mahen is in his room, Prathiba enters the room and Mahen starts insulting her. He asks what she thought that she is a princess, and that first she insulted him in front of her friends and then her mother. She is telling everyone that he is a bad husband. Prathiba tells him that he is again thinking wrong of her, she is actually wrong that she never stand for herself and that is the reason she is nothing for her children, him and even for herself. Mahen stops her and says he doesn’t want to listen to her rubbish but to just understand one think that what she is doing is not going to change him. He doesn’t care and they cannot live like this together. Sumitra tells the guests to please start eating but she is worried for the food until one the guest appreciates the meal. Namarata thinks that she cannot live like this. Mahen gets a call and a man says that they all liked his way of donation so they want him to do this. Peehu comes home and hugs her father.

Prathiba asks if everything is fine but Peehu hesitated to tell it to anyone. Anmol thinks that she is not tired but is upset. Pratibha enters Peehu’s room to ask if there is something wrong but Peehu says that there is nothing wrong and if it was wrong why she would tell her. Peehu then tells her mother that she is just tired and tells her mother, Pratibha to go and assures her that she will drink the milk. Sanjeev says that they are going to have a lot of fun in this program. Thanks him that he takes leaf from his job to meet him as well as he gave him the envelope to take it home. Shallu comes to Prathiba to ask if there is some work to do and sugar has also finished.

Prathiba give her some old paper and tells her to burn them. Sanjeev enters the room telling Mahen on the phone that the papers are save where his son comes he lift him up in his arm and the envelop fall in the box which is to be burnt. Namarata talks to Pratibha on phone about the program program and advices Pratibha to buy a new sari. Shallu burnt the papers outside the house where Mahen comes and notices that the envelop was there too. He shouts at Prathiba what is all this that she have given Shallu to burn the events ticket. He insults her again. He said that he is very disappointed to see her this careless while Kaashi and Sunidhi were quiet happy seeing this.

Pratibha asks Mahen why he would get her tickets burnt. Mahen says she should know, she wanted a change and asks if she was like this eighteen years ago, he had no idea he will have to see such a face of hers, he then takes his bag and leaves. Pratibha is speechless. She keeps on calling him. Kaashi and Sunidhi go inside while Pratibha cries. Even though Pratibha and Mahen aren’t talking to one another, Pratibha organises Mahen's event without him knowing. Sanjeev tells Pratibha neither can he say this nor keep quiet, she should take her promise back and let him tell Mahen that Narayan’s idea was hers and she is behind all his success. Pratibha stops him.

Sanjeev sit worried at night, Sunidhi comes to the room and notices him lost. She asks if he is still worried about Mahen and Pratibha, he should concentrate on his Bebo and asks how is she looking? He asks if this is her third one. She asks him not to count and just tell her which one looks best. He says she looks best in it, and not to change this one now. Sunidhi says she is convinced she will look best in the next one. He asks why she is asking him now. She laughs and says this is secret and she never likes what he does. He says he should have wondered about it while marrying her. He asks why she is selecting the sarees. She asks what if Aditya Narayan calls her on stage tomorrow. Sanjeev asks her to stop thinking about fashion show and do some work.

Pratibha is in her room while Mahen is asleep. She takes a note pad and writes on it. She thinks she has never seen him doing something so deeply except for his shop work, and he is far from her at such a time now. She wipes her tear, keeps the note in his file and says tomorrow is really important for him. He might believe her or not, she needs to tell him what is in her heart. She wishes tomorrow is a good and successful day for him. The next morning, It's the day of the charity event. Pratibha prepares for Mahen’s dress while he is still asleep. She smiles and goes outside the room. Mahen gets ready wearing another dress, when Pratibha enters the room again. He is smiling in the mirror, turns to her then takes his file from the drawer.

Pratibha smiles at him asking him for tea. He leaves with the file. She looks at his dress on the bed. Meanwhile, Sunidhi is doing the makeup, the kids and Kaashi come there. Anmol asks if she is not being more than conscious today. Sunidhi says she is sure, Aditya Narayan will call her on stage. Sanjeev also comes out; he tells Mahen everything is ready. Pratibha comes there in simple clothes. Sunidhi asks if she is not coming or is she going in these clothes? She reminds her this event has been organized by Mahen so she must come there. She asks Mahen to ask her change, as she is not ready. Mahen says if someone has to come, she should and he is not giving any invitations to anyone. Mahen’s words last day echo in Pratibha’s mind painfully. Mahen asks everyone to leave. Sunidhi and Kaashi leave cheerfully.

In the event venue, the guests arrive and are seated. The family gets VIP seats. Everyone appreciates Mahen for arranging the event with such a huge star. Mahen gets appreciation from everyone.

Peehu reads a message on phone while Anmol is making video and says his mom would have been so happy being here. He notices her lost in her cell phone and asks why she is so worried because of her phone. She shouts at him to mind his own business. Kaashi hushes them both to be quiet. The announcement on stage begins. Everyone is excited; the announcer says he himself is impatient to see Aditya Narayan on stage. He says Mr. Aditya Narayan would soon be here.

Mahen tells Sanjeev it is a big event, he is doing it for the first time and it must be successful. Sanjeev asks him not to worry that everything will be going on well. One of the men there asks about Pratibha, Mahen says she is unwell at the last moment so she couldn’t come. A man comes to him asking for a form, Mahen opens the file when he hears someone shouting to start the programme. Mahen is worried about the chaos, the men at the reception ask where Aditya? Mahen says he just talked to him and he is on his way. The crowd is getting restless as the popular artist that was supposed to perform gets delayed and Mahen is worried that the phone is switched off.

Sanjeev asks him to try the manager. The crowds create panic, one of the men shouts to return their money if the show is not starting. One of the men stand up and shout who keep the event, they call Mahendra Agarwal in front. Mahen is worried, so is everyone else. Anmol calls his mother Pratibha who is standing worried and asks what noise is this. He tells her that Aditya Narayan has not arrived and the crowd is cursing his father. Pratibha says she is coming there. Mahen comes on stage, and tries to calm the crowd down but they don’t listen to him. He says he is Mahen. The crowd asks him to start the show and the crowd cursed him for being a fraud.

Pratibha runs to the venue while Mahen is still trying to take control on stage. The guard stops Pratibha for her pass, Pratibha says she doesn’t have it. He says she can’t go in. Pratibha says Mahen is her husband and the guard says there is already problem here. She should call him if she has to go inside. She says she will call him but Mahen does not take her call. The announcer goes on stage; Mahen watches Pratibha’s call but doesn’t pick it up. Sanjeev silently notices this. The crowd begin to throw papers on stage to the announcer. Sanjeev goes out; the announcer accepts defeat as well.

Sanjeev says he called the airline company, due to a technical reason the plane is diverted to another city. The manager says they can’t return their money, else they would be at loss. A card fell off the guards hand; Pratibha takes advantage of the rush and runs inside. Mahen comes on stage with heavy heart. He says he is sorry. The family stands up, so does everyone else. Mahen says he is mistaken, he will return their money to them so they can take their money from the ticket counter. They call him names while he stands still and silent. Sanjeev takes Pratibha aside, he says he is sure she can handle it all and sends Pratibha on stage. Pratibha comes on stage and holds the mike.
