Thursday Update On Hello Pratibha Episode 63 – 65: Pratibha And Mahen's Car Breaks Down

In the evening, Mahen comes home. Namarata reminds the kids if they know what they have to do. Pratibha opens the door, Namarata greets him and says she missed her parents so she came here.

 Mahen says she did well. Pratibha goes to get tea. Namarata says she is getting bored and asks if they can play a game and suggests they should play some game which has everyone’s involvement. She asks if they can play Truth and Dare. Anmol says three people won’t be a fun, Namarata says Mahen and Pratibha are also here. But Mahen is not ready to play, and says Pratibha will have to cook. Pratibha says she has done the cooking. Mahen still not ready to play, Namarata black mails Mahen that her father always played with her. Sunidhi and Kaashi also join. Namarata asks Pratibha to join them, Kaashi says if they get tea and pakora with the game it will be a great fun. Pratibha says she will bring them tea, Mahen also goes to change. Sunidhi whispers to Kaashi to look here that she has to do something important. She comes across Mahen in corridor, and asks why is he teasing Pratibha so much. Pratibha has to play this game to agree him upon something. Mahen says Namarata is playing and Pratibha isn’t. Sunidhi asks why does he think Namarata is sitting here, and Pratibha has done her cooking before time and adds that there is something she wants from him to agree upon. Sunidhi requests Mahen not to break Pratibha’s heart and give her what she wants.

At the game, Mahen turns the bottle. Pratibha and Namarata were restless. It stops at Anmol, Anmol chooses a dare, Sunidhi asks him to be a girl. Anmol acts like one. Sanjeev also joins them. Anmol spins the bottle again. Mahen is continuously staring at Pratibha, and observed Namarata as well. The bottle stops at Mahen, Kaashi says no that it is pointing at her. Kaashi danced as everyone else cheer. Mahen spins the bottle again, and this time it stops at Pratibha. Pratibha takes truth, Sunidhi says she will ask her a question. Kaashi stops her and argue about it. Mahen says he wants to ask a question from Pratibha, he asks if this game is being played to know if he will go with her to the reunion or not. Namarata interferes, Mahen stops her and asks her to let Pratibha reply. Pratibha says yes, this is true. Sunidhi is relieved, everyone else is tensed. Mahen stands up and asks why. Namarata says it was her plan. Mahen says Pratibha is also involved in it and she is not a child, if she has to go she may go and asks why she wants him to go along with her. He then says firmly, he is not going to this reunion and leaves the hall. Pratibha cries hearing this.

Mahen is standing on the roof thinking about Sunidhi’s words. Pratibha comes there, she calls his name. Mahen turns around, Pratibha asks apology from him. Mahen says he is also sorry, he shouldn’t have talked to her in front of everyone and she should understand he doesn’t want to come to the reunion. He is a simple man, he live in his house and his shop and doesn’t want to go out of it. Pratibha says she understand he works hard for his family, his mother and children alike. He has kept this family as one. She became childish with the kids too and she wanted to go but with him. They are not complete without each other, and she is incomplete without him. She wipes her tears and promises him that she won’t do any childish thing again. Mahen watches her leave and feel bad.

In he hall, Namarata says apologize to Pratibha that she had to hear so much because of her and she didn’t know it would be a big issue. Pratibha says it was her mistake because she knows how Mahen is and she shouldn’t have got into the game. She asks Namarata to leave, but Mahen stops her. He comes to Pratibha, then says they all made him silly today and made him do what he would never have. Namarata also apologize to him. Mahen says he is not talking about that game. Pratibha asks what is he saying. Mahen says she wanted him to say yes about going with her, he smiles and says he has finally decided that they will go to the reunion together-only for her. Everyone is happy, Mahen smiles. Namarata and Anmol cheer, Namarata then says this means her plan worked. Mahen says it is because of Pratibha’s simplicity and innocence. Mahen says he knows she won’t go without him and he will go with her. Sanjeev says it is good to hear, Sunidhi, who tried to spoils Pratibha and Namrata's plan of getting Mahen to agree, is irked as her efforts go in vain.

The next morning, Mahen calls Pratibha. Pratibha gives some money to Peehu and Anmol as they were dressed in uniform. Peehu asks her mother if she thinks they can’t do anything without her. Mahen scolds Peehu for being rude to her mother, Anmol takes his mother to a side and asks if he can invite his friends at home as he wants to do group study. Pratibha tells him to take his father’s permission, Anmol says he would never agree. Mahen comes from behind, Pratibha tells him and he appreciates Anmol’s idea. Peehu asks her mother if she is going to wear this. Pratibha says she will change there, because it is too hot. Sunidhi asks to carry the bag to the car but Mahen stops her and says he will. At the door, Mahen tells Sanjeev to take care of everyone. Sanjeev says he will look after everything and they should both enjoy. Pratibha and Mahen leave. Sunidhi thinks she has done special arrangements for this reunion.

On the way, Pratibha looks at Mahen thinking about his words. She smiles at him, he asks why is she smiling at herself. She thank her husband for this. He asks how much would she thank him. She says it is such a big thing for her. He asks her to enjoy this moment and live in it. Pratibha smiles looking at him and takes her hand out of mirror to feel the wind shutting her eyes. A bike comes behind the car, two guys try to take over and calls at Pratibha to take her hand inside, if she feels it is too hot. Mahen calls at them for misbehaving and races the car at high speed. The boys still tease them, Mahen tries to speed up the car. Pratibha shows Mahen a check post, she tells the policemen about the boys. They try to run but the police men take them. Mahen and Pratibha get in the car. 

Mahen tells Pratibha she is really courageous, she doesn’t seem to be in the house. She asks to play the songs, it was baby doll, she changes it to an old song ‘kya yehi pyar hai’. She smiles and is about to off this one, he stops her and asks if she doesn’t remember this song; they used to hear it so much. She asks if he remembers, she says she thought he has forgotten. He asks why would he forget, she smiles, he smiles watching her enjoy. She says after so long, she is feeling too good that she wants this time to stand still. While still on their way to the reunion Pratibha and Mahen's car suddenly breaks down. Mahen says he will check and see it. The car’s radiator had dried up. The boys were there in the bushes, and thinks this is the right time.

Mahen says the radiator has got dry, he thinks he should get water. Pratibha watches greese over his new shirt, Pratibha cleans it with her saree. He says his shirt had ruined, she has now ruined her saree too. She says it is alright, she can hide it easily. Mahen watches her front of saree had also ruined, and asks her to hide that mud atleast. Pratibha says she has packed some extra clothes, they would fresh up and change there. Mahen wonders where they will find water, and in that quest he rubs grease over his face. Pratibha laughs and cleanse it away. Mahen goes to bring water and asks Pratibha to stay here. The bikers were hiding behind the bushes, and says it is the right time as the woman is alone. They come to Pratibha and says she was fond of complaining about them now she should complain. 

Pratibha is afraid and says she will shout. She shouts for Mahen but the man asks her to shut up. The other tells him to slap her, he holds his hand when Mahen grasps his arm. The boy cries in pain, Mahen asks how dare he touched his wife and throws him back. The other one attacks but is beaten by Mahen too, when the first one brings up a knife. They watch a police jeep pulling by, the man hides behind Mahen, holds his knife at Mahen’s back and asks about the way. Pratibha watches this, and pushes the man. The men in jeep recognizes both as goons and joins Mahen in beating them. They goons run away, the man in the jeep asks Mahen if he is alright. Mahen thanks them, and their car is also fine. They leave, Pratibha asks Mahen if he is alright. He hugs Pratibha asking if she is fine, she shuts her eyes.

At the venue, Mahen asks Pratibha to change before someone sees them this way. He opens the back of the car where there was no bag. He asks Pratibha where the bag is. Sunidhi brings the bag to her mom’s video chat. Her mom asks if they forget. Sunidhi says she takes it out of the car. Mahen says before someone sees them this way, they should move on from here. Just then, Maya calls Pratibha and runs towards her. She hugs Pratibha and is excited to see her after so many years. She asks them to come in, Pratibha says there is something urgent that Mahen has to do. Maya says they have come far away. Maya’s husband comes to greet them, he says to Pratibha that he has heard a lot about her. He greets Mahen, Maya spots their clothes and asks what happened to their clothes. Pratibha says they forgot the way and the car was out of work, and due to someone’s carelessness they have forgotten the bag as well. Pratibha says they want to go in, but Maya says here are all the friends only. Sunidhi is happy that Mahen will be angry with Pratibha till now, not finding the bag. She asks Mahen where they are, Mahen says they are entering the reunion. She is shocked to hear this, Mahen hangs up saying if she has nothing important to say. Sunidhi is again disappointed that all their plans fail.

Everyone claps to see Pratibha and Mahen. A lady says they are here, she has being waited for. They say Namaste to Mahen saying he is her husband. A lady spots Pratibha and Mahen’s clothes and asks what happened. Mahen couldn’t speak, while the announcement for couple dance is done. They are all called on dance floor. Mahen looks around angrily, Pratibha’s friends come to invite them to follow the rules of the party. Mahen says he doesn’t dance, but they drag him to the dance floor. Mahen and Pratibha stand away, a friend bucks Pratibha up, she steps up and looks at Mahen. He comes on the dancing rug, then looks around feeling awkward. Pratibha looks around at her friend’s couples dancing together. 

One of the girl is about to fell down as the dancing session had ended. The announcement for paper dance are allowed, they are asked to fold the papers under them. Pratibha asks for Mahen’s hand, he asks for what, then gives his hand in hers. Stepping up the folded paper, Pratibha keeps hand on his shoulder, he holds Pratibha’s back finally; Pratibha smiles. One of the couple slips, the announcer asks them to fold their papers again, the music is played again. Mahen and Pratibha steps on it relatively easily this time, still they feel awkward looking into each other’s eyes. Maya’s husband tells Pratibha that she will step on his foot. Mahen angrily tells Pratibha that he dislikes this, he has already done a lot and not anymore.
