Good-looking Arjit
Taneja is a model and an Indian television actor. He grew up in Delhi. His father is a lawyer. He graduated with BA in computer programming at University
of Delhi.
Taneja is well
known for his role as Purab Khanna in the Zee TV series (Twist of Fate)
Kumkum Bhagya. In the series he played the role of lead actor, Abi’ (Shabbir
Ahuwaliya) childhood friend and manager who handles his accounts before he quit
the show. He got immense popularity with the character Purab.
In November 2010, he joined the modelling agency,
Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd. He later moved from Delhi to Mumbai in
mid-2012 and made his debut in television.
Arjit made his debut in Balaji Telefilms’ reality
series The Serial on channel V. He also acted in Ekta
Kapoor’s Bade Acche Lagte Hain.
He also participated in MTV Splitsvilla season 6l. He had also been a host of
Zing’s show Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and was seen in Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do.
