Andres Moreno, who at his heaviest weighed 70 stone (980lbs), died of a heart attack yesterday,
Christmas Day while on his way to
hospital.
Palacios said that he had undergone weight loss surgery in October and was doing well, having lost weight and regaining the ability to wash himself and wear trainers. "He was really happy," she said.
In November, Real Madrid footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, sent
him a signed shirt in a bid to encourage him in his quest to lose
weight.
