Laoye recently announced the new project
from her Angel 4 Life Foundation tagged, “The Angel Relief Fund”, to provide
care and support for the internally displaced persons and refugees in Nigeria.
Laoye was unveiled by National Commission for
Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), South West zone,
a government establishment as the Celebrity Voice of Refugees – to bring to the
forefront, activities of the NCFRMI as well as the plight of refugees,
internally displaced persons and other persons of concern.
“It is really a sad situation in the
north for our fellow brothers and sisters and we do pray for God’s help and
strength to our troops to quench this invasion once and for all. In the
meantime, we have to look out for our own and do what we can to soothe their
pains. They are in constant need of food, water, clothing and more to survive
daily. Let’s spread some love this season and beyond, kindly donate what you
can and we will ensure it gets across to them,” she said.
