Mbaise born comedian, Chidi Uzoma
popularly known as Baba De Baba has written a letter to our corrupt and deceptive
leaders.
The letter is an abstract from his
forthcoming audio CD, Comedy Quake 2 with Baba De Baba where he talked about how our leaders frequent abroad just to enjoy basic amenities provided by
their fellow leaders over there and they don't care to implement them in Nigeria.
Instead they concentrate on extorting the poor masses. His purpose of this letter is
to support the dream of a “Better Nigeria.”
According to him, “I was embarrassed in
Kenya when I got to the hotel and I asked the receptionist, "Is there light?"
Instead of her to answer Yes or No, she asked me, "Are you a Nigerian?” This
is because this is the same question Nigerians ask each time they lodge here."
But would you blame me or any other Nigerian? Our leaders have made us gotten so
used to darkness.
