Hair Media presents maiden edition of Hairdressers’ Conference and Exhibition

Nigeria's style, with specific reference to hair industry, is set for the first ever Hairdressers' Conference and Exhibition billed to hold at Time Square Event Center, Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

The unique event, put together by Hair Media, is designed to propel the hair industry forward, in line with international standards; provide an interactive forum for networking; re-define hairdressing as delightful occupation; bring hairdressers closer to the manufacturers and distributors, educating hairdressers on current hair styles and hair care products; as well as a medium for bulk purchases, and understanding the essence of financing opportunities as well as accessing them.

The over 3,000 guests expected to attend the event would have the opportunity of gaining more knowledge about business-turn-around ideas to be presented by competent, successful, up-to-date professional hairdressers and consultants from different parts of the world.

According to the organizers, issues such as branding, franchising, salon/staff management, customer service, hygiene, hair styling techniques, and trends, will also be explored.

Mr. Emmanuel Ntia, group Head of Hair Media Africa, explained that the exhibition aspect of the event will afford manufacturers, corporate bodies, salon owners and distributors in the hair industry the opportunity to showcase their products/services as well as introduce new products to guests.

The event, which has the support and endorsement of the Hairdressers' Associations in Nigeria, will also feature entertainment from talented artistes, comedians and dance groups even. Guests will also go home with various prizes in the raffle draws that will hold.  

Mr. Ntia added: “This is Lagos edition because we have put machineries in motion towards taking the event to other cities of the country.”
