Passenger accused of stealing N200, 000 aboard Arik Air’s flight

A mild drama played out yesterday, April 4 at the Muritala Mohammed Airport, Lagos when one of the passengers of Arik Air (names withheld) was accused of stealing a co-passenger’s N200, 000 while onboard the aircraft.
The aircraft had departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja to MMA. Both passengers were on the business class of the airline when the alleged incident occurred.
We learnt that the accused passenger had stood up in the aircraft, opened the overhead cabin, as if he was searching for missing items in his luggage, but allegedly picked the N200, 000 belonging to another passenger in the cabin.
Unfortunately for him, the accused was sighted by other passengers in the cabin when he allegedly stole the money and attempted to divert it into his own luggage.
The passengers were said to have immediately informed the cabin crew members of the development, who, immediately swung into action by accosting the male suspect, who occupied seat 3C in the aircraft.
On touching down at the Lagos Airport, the passenger was immediately reported to security officials of the airline who transferred him to the aviation security personnel of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.

Na waoo, stealing get levels sha!!! But this is really heartbreaking.
