Lagos State doctors to begin warning strike on Wednesday


Doctors in Lagos State have said that they are going on a three-day warning strike starting from Wednesday, April 11 to Friday, 13.

The medical doctors who made their grievances known under the umbrella of the Medical Guild said that the Lagos State government had failed to honour the agreement reached with doctors in the state.

Addressing a press conference in Lagos on Friday, Chairman of the Medical Guild, Olumuyiwa Odusote said that the warning strike is to make the government implement the new salary structure the downward review of excessive taxation, which the government imposed on the doctors.
