President Jonathan sacks EFCC boss, Farida Waziri



President Goodluck Jonathan this morning sacked the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mrs. Farida Waziri.
Her sack was contained in a statement by presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati. But,  no specific reason was given for her removal.

However,  Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, the agency's Director of Operations whom she took over from during the tenure of  the late President Umaru Yar'Adua on May 18, 2008 has been directed to take over immediately.

What has she done? Why the sack? I just hope she was sacked for good reasons, sha!!!

    Did she took over from Lamorde?, nope, Lamorde only handed over to her as the then director of operations and acting in he absence of Nuhu Ribadu. She actually took over from Ribadu who was unjustly removed by the lame duck late President Yara'dua. As for her sack, it is a good radiance to bad rubbish. she has became a liability to the fight against graft with her undisputed fraternisation with the most corrupt in the country.
