Ibinabo Fiberesima Stands Against Sexual Violence



With the rate of sexual violence becoming more rampant in our society, many NGO’s and individuals alike have increased their efforts in speaking out against this inhuman behaviour that is destroying the lives of young innocent girls.

Actress, ex-beauty queen and National President of Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima has also pledged to speak out against sexual violence. Furthermore, she promised to help raped victims.

Domestic Violence: Mr Nigeria launches 'Project R.A.W' campaign

 
Emmanuel Ikubese, 2014 winner of the Mr Nigeria competition has joined the campaign against domestic violence awareness campaign in the most startling way.
He stated that, “I believe no man will ever hit his mother because of respect. If such respect can be applied in relationships/marriages this will significantly reduce the rate of domestic violence in our society. My vision is to see men make this pledge to Respect A Woman and apply them in their Relationships. For Women in such violent Relationships its high time they run away from this deadly act.”

Timi Dakolo speaks out for the Internally Displaced Persons in North

 
Nigerian soul singer and award-winning recording artiste, Timi Dakolo has joined Niki Laoye in her campaign to raise funds for the internally displaced persons in the North.
Laoye made this known when she posted a photograph of Dakolo on Instagram with the caption: “TimiDakolo speaks out for the Internally Displaced Persons in Northern Nigeria.Support #TheAngelReliefFund today. Boko Haram took away their homes. We can help them survive these hard times. They are our brothers and sisters right here in Nigeria.They are our brothers and sisters. They need us. Genevieve Nnaji joins One Campaign Action 2015

Nollywood actress and Etisalat ambassador, Genevieve Nnaji has joined the likes of Tuface and D'banj as an ambassador for One Campaign (Action 2015).
One campaign is a movement that fights injustice, inequalities, sickness and poverty.
She was pictured initiating the campaign among secondary school students who were called on to make a pledge for the One campaign.
