Gangaa congratulates Sagar for his performance. He gives no reply. Shruti too comes to call him that Sagar will announce best actor’s name now. He leaves with her. He refuses to acknowledge Gangaa in front of Shruti saying he don’t know her. Gangaa wonders what has happened to Sagar as he didn't even talk to her. The principal praises the play and all the participants. He announces Sagar’s name as the best actor but he was a little hesitant initially but then lived his role perfectly.
Sagar’s family feels proud of their son’s achievement. Sagar thanks his teachers, principal, parents and grandma that they have helped him a lot and he want to say a special thanks to a girl who has helped him a lot and that he wouldn’t have been able to do his role nicely if she wasn’t there. She has helped him in studies too. She encourages him to study when he don’t do so and that she is his best friend. Gangaa thinks that Sagar is about to take her name before everyone but she is proved wrong as Sagar takes Shrutii’s name. Gangaa is heartbroken. Sagar who deeply hurts Gangaa by not acknowledging her on stage notices her thus but he thanks Shruti once again for helping him in rehearsals.
Gangaa sadly recalls Sagar’s words while she is sitting in a corner when the Guard spots her. She thinks of the instances when he had given her the credit for making the crown and sword for him before his family members. She tries to break free but he drags her to the principal room and asks her to tell him what she come here to steal. The guard brings Gangaa to the Principal room. He and a lady teacher ask her a lot of questions. She takes Sagar’s name.
Sagar returns home. He shows his trophy to Babli. The family members are very proud of his acting and also of his scores in exams. Pulkit is not home yet. Niranjan wants to know his result. Pulkit’s result is 40%. He is scared to go home. His friends suggest him to get a fake mark sheet. Pulkit initially calls it cheating but his friends assure him that it won't look fake and he will have to spend a little money though. Pulkit agrees in the end.
Pulkit gives Niranjan a fake report card his friends created. Niranjan checks Pulkit’s fake result but the marks are a little too high and he asks his son if this is his mark sheet?. Amma is on cloud nine that Pulkit has brought such good marks for the first time. Madhvi nods that he was always studying all the time. Niranjan trusts him but is certainly pleasantly surprised. He happily hugs his son and says he is so proud of him and it is a day of double celebration and declare that there should be a party. Everyone agrees. Niranjan wants to share the news with Mr Sharma that his son is also intelligent. He tells Pulkit to invite all his friends that it will be a grand celebration.
Madhvi gives instructions to Maharaj about the party tonight. Mary is excited about the party but Maharaj is worried about Gangaa as no one knows that she is not at home and no one knew that she had gone to Sagar’s school. Mary tells him to let it be that she anyways has no work. At the same time, Gangaa returns home with a peon. He confirms about her address and she entered inside the school without permission. He says the watchman found him but didn't give her to police and explain her well. He says she should not be doing this again. He leaves. Mary taunts Gangaa for the same. Maharaj tries to ask Gangaa what happened but she just sits sadly in a corner. Gangaa looks at her hands and thinks of Sagar’s words on stage.
The house is getting decorated for the night and everyone is busy in their respective works. Amma tells Gangaa a little rudely to do her work. Madhvi notices Gangaa’s sad face and asks Maharaj ji about it why she is so quiet?. Maharaj doesn’t share anything with her and tells Madhavi to get ready that the guests will come any minute. She heads to her room. A concern Maharaj sits next to Gangaa and asks why she is quiet since she is home and asks if she will tell her anything?. She asks about Sagar. Maharaj says he must be getting ready in his room. Gangaa wants to ask him something and rushes upstairs.
Pulkit has not called any of his friends but he lies to Sagar that they are all jealous of him. Madhvi calls out to him that his friends are here. Sagar begins to go out of the room when Gangaa holds Sagar’s hand that she want to talk to him. He shakes her hand off and walks away. Pulkit too goes downstairs. Gangaa wants to know why Sagar didn't take her name when she is his friend. All the guests, kids are home. Prabha and Ratan too come home. Niranjan makes Pulkit meet his friend Mr. Sharma. Prabha complains to Ratan for not organizing such a party for her son. He reasons that Prince has never got such good marks. Prabha cannot stop complaining though.
Omkar is looking at a lady. Sagar’s friends want to see his trophy. Omkar sends him upstairs to bring it. He sends the other kids after Sagar and eyes the lady lustily. Gangaa has fallen asleep in Sagar’s room. He comes in his room to take his trophy and wakes her up. She wants to talk to him but he is not interested. He tells her to hide when he hears his friends coming there. He forcefully makes her hide in the cupboard. She is reluctant but he closes the cupboard from outside and warn her not to come out till he tell her to. His friends come there and they check out his trophy. Ganga peeks out from the cupboard. Shruti compliments Sagar on his room and says she has her own room and that she don’t share it with anyone. Gangaa watches Sagar talking nicely to his friends and they head downstairs. Sagar opens the cupboard once they are gone. Gangaa questions Sagar as to why he didn't make her meet his friends and he could have told them that she is Gangaa, his friend and he didn't even take her to his school to see his drama.
Sagar refuses outright and asks how could he do so and blunt out that she is not his friend and asks how can they be friends?. He adds that they are different as she cannot read or write and what would he have said to his friends?. He then says friendship happens amongst equals and that he was born in this big house, his father is a big lawyer and she is, not even from this house. Gangaa wants to know what he was trying to say. He says she is only Gangaa and just Gangaa. She is deeply hurt by his words. She again holds his hand when he turns to go and says Amma must have told him that she is not his friend. He declines yet she knows it well that Amma doesn’t like her at all as she thinks of her only as a maid. He explains that his father brought her home. He started talking to her and playing with her. Adding that this is not how they become friends and warn her not to cry that they will still play together and she can even hold his hand if she is scared. She asks him if he is ashamed of calling her his friend before his other friends. He nods and says she don’t even know hindi properly, and forget English as she call everyone differently and his friends will make fun of him if she make her his friend. He further says she cannot be his friend and she is only Gangaa and just Gangaa. He goes from there. Gangaa is in tears. She thinks of how she had come here as Sagar’s friend, and his nice words. She cries her heart out as all the past and latest memories flash before her eyes.
Sagar joins his friends downstairs as they have been waiting for him. He says he wasn’t doing anything. Maharaj gives juice to them and asks about Gangaa. Sagar has no clue. Niranjan discusses about Pulkit’s future that he wants him to be admitted in the best school now. Pulkit gets tensed hearing this as all his friends are in that school. Niranjan reasons that he can make new friends there and it is important to focus in studies and careers too when everything is going good. Mr. Sharma appreciates Niranjan’s outlook towards life and education. Amma and Madhvi are happy to see Niranjan so happy after so long.
Maharaj finds Gangaa sitting near the staircase and asks her to come downstairs and see how everyone is enjoying. He notices that she has been crying and comfort her that she is so brave and asks why is she crying?. She doesn’t want to talk to anyone and plead with him to go. He leaves reluctantly.
Pulkit gets a call from his friend. He goes aside to pick it but they are unhappy that he didn't call them in party. Pulkit says his father wants him to get admitted in the top school in Banaras because of the fake mark sheet but he won't get admission with it as his father is making big plans and he don’t know what he should be doing. A guy introduces himself to Niranjan and Mr. Sharma that he is Mr. Verma, MLA’s secretary and that he has been wanting to meet NIranjan since long. Mr. Verma and Niranjan exchange pleasantries. Mr. Verma wants Niranjan to handle his case. Niranjan doesn’t want to talk about work today and he politely tells him about it that he can come anytime to his office. Mr. Verma nods and says he can ask for his help in case he want something regarding admission. Mr. Sharma tells Mr. Verma that Niranjan is a very honest guy. Mr. Verma wants to find out about Niranjan’s loophole.
Prabha insists Ratan to give a similar birthday bash on Prince’s birthday. Raman declines. Mr. Verma overhears their conversation. He talks to Ratan about his government job that he don’t get anything in life by that. Ratan doesn’t mind facing troubles in life. He excuses himself but Prabha is certainly tempted. She tells Mr. Verma that her husband is very simple. The time is not good and anyone can fool anyone. Mr. Verma is impressed. He gives her his card. Prabha gladly takes it and says she has to go as Mrs. Pandey is calling for her.
Meanwhile, Omkar cannot take his eyes off that lady. He walks past her, pretends to talk to someone on phone and intentionally touches her with his shoulder. Mr. Verma observes him thus. Ratan too was standing nearby but someone calls out for him. Omkar gets shocked seeing Mr. Verma standing there watching him. Omkar then moves aside. Mr. Verma has got his soft nerve. He also knows his background because they know each other from before. Omkar says he have pushed his car and it will reach it's destination real soon and further says this is not the place to discuss all this here.
Gangaa's father asks Ganga if she is this weak. He sits down next to her and says he know his Gangaa has been hurt but her father cannot see tears in her eyes. She tells him about what Sagar had said to her that he doesn’t like her way of talking, her clothes and herself. She wonder what to do?. Her father says there are many things in life which hurt them but it doesn’t mean that they should cry.
The next morning, Sagar goes out to play with his friends as he is getting bored at home and he have no one to play with. Madhvi talks about Gangaa but Sagar makes faces. Omkar and Amma supports Sagar that he should play with kids from his age group. Sagar heads towards the main door with Gangaa following him and she stands in his way. He refuses to play with her but she knows it already and says she is not his friends and agree that she is a maid, they aren’t equals and she is not as intelligent as his friends, have not such a big house and cannot even speak in English. But she will become better than him and his friends one day. She further says now she will study hard and become a big person like Niranjan sir and that day no one will feel ashamed to talk to her. She further tells Sagar that she will prove it to him. She will become a better and famous person than him and Niranjan sir will be proud of her, she then challenge him to wait and watch that she will become equal to him. She walks away while Sagar is in deep thoughts.
Mr. Verma has called Raghav's number of times as he wants to meet Niranjan for some urgent work. Gangaa who realises the importance of education comes to talk to Niranjan who is talking on phone. He ends the call when Gangaa tells him that she wants to study that she made a mistake. She tries to convince Niranjan, and admit that she didn't know it's importance earlier but now she have realised how much necessary it is. But Niranjan refuses to believe her, he confirms with her again and asks if she think it is some joke?. He then tells her that he cannot say yes and no as per her wish and he cannot support her in her childishness and that she is not serious about studies. He further asks why waste his money when she isn't interested?. He adds that he cannot waste any more time on he. She tries to convince Niranjan, but he refuses to believe her. She tries to say something but he cannot trust her and asks what if she insult her teacher again?. He adds on that he don’t want to see a nice person getting insulted before his own eyes.
