Ganga who hears Prabha telling Ammaji about a gang who manages to get children into the house in order to get all the possible information about the family refuses to eat or play with Sagar. Sagar understands that Ganga is upset due to Yash and he decides to gift Ganga his favorite toy train. Ganga refuses to accept the toy train that Sagar tries to gift her out of sheer pity and this upsets Sagar and he decides to never be friends with Ganga again.
Ganga later listens to some loud Bollywood music reverberating from outside. By listening to the catchy music, she automatically begins to tap her feet and groves along with the music. Sagar meanwhile remains upset with Ganga. Ganga later overhears Sugar's mother Madhvi speaking to Niranjan about her fear that their growing closeness with Ganga might add to the responsibility on their shoulders. While Madhvi wants Niranjan to make Ganga leave their house, Niranjan decides to let Ganga stay in the house until Sagar is happy having her in the house. Gangaa realises that she will have to keep Sagar happy in order for her to continue staying there.
Ganga comes to Sagar and Pulkit’s room. Sagar asks Pulkit to sharpen his pencil but Pulkit is getting late for school. He notices Ganga and asks if both of them have a fight?. He quietly leaves for school. Ganga thinks of Niranjan’s words. She offers to sharpen Sagar’s pencil for him but Sagar continues trying on his own. Ganga begins to pack his school bag but he tells her not to touch his stuff and angrily asks her to go away. Ganga notices his cricket kit in a corner and gets an idea. She asks Sagar how many runs he has scored in a cricket match?. She asks him if he ever score a 100 but Sagar denies. Ganga tells him that they will play once Sagar return from school. He also asks her to meet him outside the school. He makes a route sketch for her so she can reach there. He also gives her some money so she can reach the school and asks her not to tell this to anyone as it is a secret between the two of them. Ganga asks him if he is still angry with her. Sagar shakes his head and then leaves for school. Ganga politely tells Sagar that Ammaji wont send her out of the house if Sagar is always happy and that will make her stay with them. Niranjan moves around the room making his file ready while his wife Madhvi runs behind him to make him eat something. He finds Ganga running somewhere. She stops her and asks her if she had breakfast. Ganga shakes her head. Niranjan immediately calls out for Maharaj and tells him to take care of Ganga. He tells him that Ganga is a kid and has not eaten anything since morning. Niranjan asks Ganga if she wants anything from the market. She again shakes her head which brings a smile on his face. Niranjan tells her that she is very intelligent. He also tells her to listen to what the elders of the house say to her and also not to let Ammaji get upset with her. Ganga nods. She leaves with Maharaj afterwards while Madhvi gives juice to Niranjan.
Maharaj mutters to Ganga and he got scolded in the morning because of her. He tells Ganga that she could have asked him to give her food. They enter the kitchen just when the maid is taking out the locket from the flour. She nervously runs out of there. Maharaj goes to bring breakfast for Ganga and she sits in a corner as per his instructions. Ganga runs inside Sagar’s room after making sure no one is around to notice her. She tears the page in which Sagar had made the route map for her. She realises that it is written in English. She concentrates a little and then recalls his school’s name as Lawrence School. Next, she picks up his cricket kit and heads downstairs. She hides away from Maharaj and Madhvi who are working in the kitchen. She finds the main door locked when she finally reaches there. She smartly throws the cricket kit bag to another corner so that no one questions her. She casually begins to walk towards it when Ammaji comes there but Ganga hides. Ammaji reminds Maharaj to make kheer for Sagar. Ammaji sits in the courtyard itself. Ganga is worried as she looks at the wall clock. She remembers that Sagar has told her not to tell anyone that she will be coming to his school. The only problem is Gangaa is trapped inside the house and asks herself as to how can she go now when Ammaji is sitting outside.
Ganga tries to leave the house with Sagar's cricket kit but she ends up colliding with the servant of the house who is busy admiring the gold pendant that she had stolen from Madhvi. Hearing the commotion, Ammaji gets alerts and asks Ganga to put back the cricket kit. Ganga notices the gold pendant that had fallen down and she tells Ammaji about it. Ammaji hands over the pendant to Madhvi and learning that the pendant was found by Ganga, she is pleased with her. Meanwhile, Sagar is confident that Ganga will arrive at his school during his lunch break to play cricket with him and he decided to bunk the school. Ganga on the other hand is wondering as to how she will reach Sagar's school and fulfil the promise made to him. The recess period gets over. Shruti who is a girl from Sagar's school tells him that no one can come inside the school after the third bell rings. His friend calls him a fool to believe Ganga as he has not even written his essay. They asks Sagar to be ready for punishment. He heads inside with Shruti. Sagar is really angry with Ganga now. He tells himself that Ganga has fooled him. He smirks angrily and tells himself that he will complain to his Grandma as Ganga has lied to him and that Grandma will scold her for that.
Ganga makes many knots in the scarfs. She looks downstairs to make sure the road and the courtyard inside are empty. She goes downstairs and picks up the cricket kit. She throws it down from the terrace. Ammaji hears the noise. She mutters something and then lies down to sleep for a while. She is disturbed by the passerby seller outside. Ganga drops one side of the dupatta down and ties the other corner from the boundary of the terrace. She prays to God for safety as she begins to descend the balcony using it. Ganga realises that she is just outside Ammaji’s window. She prays that grandmother doesn’t open her eyes. She is finally able to reach the ground successfully. She runs away from there with the cricket kit. The third bell rings at the school. Sagar paces anxiously. The guard comes there and tells him to go to his class. Sagar leaves dejected. The guard locks the main door and Ganga reaches there just then. She is shown running towards the gate with the cricket kit bag slung on her shoulder but she is sad to find the door locked.
Ganga calls out for Sagar but he walks in the opposite direction unaware. Ganga climbs the wall from a corner and signals to him, this time he notices her and runs to her happily. He asks as to why she got so late and angrily asks what he is doing over there?. Ganga points out at the school door that is locked and that she has brought his cricket kit. She asks Sagar to come so that they play. Sagar jumps over the boundary happily. He tells Ganga that he thought she wont come today. Ganga says that she had to come as he had called her. Sagar checks the bag and says that he has been waiting for her since so long. He adds that he would have been punished if Ganga hadn't come. She reminds Sagar that he had asked her to come without telling anyone. She tells him that Ammaji was sitting outside and she sent her on the terrace afterwards. Ganga tells Sagar that she descended from the terrace using a rope made of dupattas, just like thieves do and Sagar is surprised. Sagar surprisedly asks Ganga if she really did that?. He then asks her if she will teach him too and that he would like to try. He adds that it would have been fun. He later asks Ganga if she was scared?. She shakes her head. She tells Sagar that she was scared initially but then she remembered her God and came down. She adds that it was easy. They decide to go play cricket together.
Sagar and Ganga run towards the field where they will be playing. Sagar flies away the balloons of a balloon vendor. The man runs after them but they are pretty fast. They run past the Ghaat and finally reach the garden. Ganga bowls and Sagar enjoys batting. He again gets out but denies. She agrees with him. Ganga tells Sagar that they should go home now but Sagar wants to complete 100 runs first. Ganga is taken aback. She anxiously asks him that does he still have to score 26 runs?. She tells Sagar that they are too much. She reminds Sagar that she has run away from the house without telling anyone and that Ammaji will be very upset if she gets to know about it. She asks Sagar what if Ammaji throws her out of the house and that everyone must be looking for her by now. Ganga tells Sagar that Niranjan had also told her in the morning that she should not upset Ammaji and she should listen to everything that she says. Sagar talks about her promise of helping him score 100 runs today. He reminds her that if she break her promise then he will make her keep this bat on her head and take 100 rounds of the place. He adds that this is a rule of breaking a promise. Sagar tells Ganga that Ammaji will be happy if she keeps him happy but then if he get angry then she too will get angry. Ganga has no option but to continue bowling for him. She prays to God that Ammaji will not find out that she has jumped off from the terrace using a rope made of scarfs/veils.
