Pragya is still decorating the terrace and wondering why has Abhi has asked her to do this. Aaliya brings Tanu to show what Pragya is doing in the terrace. Aaliya reveals that Pragya is decorating the place to welcome her so that Abhi can propose her here. Tanu is happy that she can humiliate Pragya easily if everything goes as planned. Aaliya senses that someone is listening to them and tries to inspect. It was Mitali who overhearing their conversation. Mitali starts dusting seeing them. Tanu asks Mitali what is she doing. Aaliya warns her not to hear their conversations again. She asks what was she doing at the terrace. Tanu asks her to tell them the truth. Mitali agrees she heard them and tells them she will tell everything. They ask what will she tell. She says that Abhi is proposing Tanu. Aaliya and Tanu laugh on her and tell her that he is anyway going to announce this in the media. Mitali says she will tell this to Pragya. Aaliya asks her not to tell anyone and threatens her against revealing anything to anyone. Mitali promises not to tell anyone. Pragya thinks of Abhi and hopes that he likes the decoration. He dreams of Abhi coming and holding her in his arms. Abhi actually comes. She asks how did he come. He says he is the owner of the house, he can come and go anywhere. She says leave it. He says he can't. He praises the decoration. She asks if he liked it. He asks if she has done all this. She says yes. He says he didn't know she is so romantic.
Finally Pragya has finished with her task and makes a last check to see everything is perfect and hopes that he likes the decoration. Suddenly she feels Abhi has come around and has hugged her. Soon she realises that, she is again day dreaming. Abhi has actually arrived. She asks how did he come. He says he is the owner of the house, he can come and go anywhere. She says leave it. He says he can't. He is amazed to see what Pragya did and praises the decoration. He is surprised that his boring looking secretary has such exceptional qualities. Abhi appreciates her and feels proud to have her around. She asks if he liked it. He asks if she has done all this. She says yes. He says he didn't know she is so romantic. He then walks towards her, takes her hand in his hands and asks her to sit on a table nearby. She gets confused. She starts arranging things. He asks her to see in his eyes. She is about to say something but he interrupts her. He recites a beautiful poetry in a romantic way to Pragya. She is happy to hear her man speak so lovely words to her. Pragya is totally lost and is happy thinking that Abhi has remembered his past. She gets up. He says he is not done yet. He goes closer to her and asks if he can take her in his arms like his guitar. He asks whether she liked it. She asks what is he talking about. Abhi reveals that he was just testing if he can do this perfectly. He says he will tell her why he was rehearsing. Pragya gets angry wondering that Abhi is making fun of her and she says she doesn't want to hear it and leaves angrily.
Abhi is confused whether he should propose Tanu or not. He cannot understand how to take things forward. He then recalls his Daadi's words when she was shouting at him after reading the news story. He then thinks every step taken for family is always right. Abhi decides to rectify the mistake that he recently committed with Tanu. Abhi decides to propose Tanu and sort the differences between them. He approaches Tanu and apologises to her. Tanu is waiting for Abhi to propose him but he is talking vague things. Abhi asks why is Tanu not talking to him and constantly asks. Tanu says what the point in saying anything as no amount of discussion will brings back her dignity. Aaliya is looking for Pragya so that she can send her upstairs to witness Abhi and Tanu's love story. She lies to her saying that Abhi is calling her since the decoration she did was not perfect. She blackmails her saying that if she doesn't go then Abhi will get angry on her and will fire her from job. Fearing the thought of losing Abhi, a naive Pragya Pragya rushes upstairs to check if Abhi really needs her and if something is wrong with all the decoration.
Tanu says that she is upset with everything as her family had to face a lot of humiliation. She says that Aaliya has called her here saying that he wanted to meet her. She asks what is the matter and why has he made all the arrangements here. Right when Pragya reaches the terrace, Abhi then gets to the point and comes down to his knees and proposes Tanu. He offers her a rose and romantically asks if she will marry him. Pragya is watching this scene from a distance and is totally shattered. She feels disgusting and walks away with tears in her eyes. Tanu is happy as her dream has come true. Excited, she says that she has been waiting for this day for so many years. Abhi is amused and asks how does she know him for years when they met few weeks back. Tanu handles the situation somehow and tries to divert his attention saying that she felt like she knew him since ages right on the first day itself. Tanu thanks her for everything and the special arrangement he made for her. Abhi says this was the first time he has proposed anyone in his life.
Pragya is in tears and hates herself for expecting so much from Abhi. She always knew that Abhi was in love with Tanu and she was just a part of his life which he doesn't remember anymore. She regrets for having so much expectations with Abhi despite knowing the truth. Aaliya notices a shattered Pragya sits under the staircase and feels happy as her plan has been successful. But she records Pragya's plight so that she can share this joy with Tanu but Pragya that Aaliya sneakily shoots a video of her crying. When she meets Tanu later comes to her room to celebrate, she is almost dancing with excitement. Aaliya asks her to control her joy as she has one more good news for her. Aaliya shows her the video which adds to Tanu's excitement. Aaliya says that they have successfully achieved this plan by keeping their plan a secret from Pragya. The two rejoice the success of their plan to fool Abhi into marrying Tanu.
Alia knows that someday Pragya will find out the truth and reveal to Abhi that they have fooled him. But before that happens, Aaliya wants Tanu to control Abhi so well that he will never trust Pragya. Tanu is confident that she can do this task quite easily. Sarla is busy making list of the monthly grocery items and other household items. Pragya arrives home with a fake smile and pretends to be happy. Sarla is happy to see her and asks if she had a great day at work but her Daadi senses that everything is not right. She says that there was a party at her office and she had made all the decorations herself and that she got to meet a lot of celebrities and puts on a happy face. Sarla asks Pragya to join for dinner but she refuses saying that she is full and very tired. She walks towards the room to sleep.
Meanwhile, Abhi is still unsure and restless about proposing to Tanu. He is confused about his feelings and wonders if it was a mistake asking her to marry him. Since he is in two minds about the proposal, he wonders how Tanu agreed for marriage so soon. He was expecting her to throw a lot of tantrums and he was prepared for several attempts. But Tanu was impressed in the first attempt itself. He assumes that she must not be much angry with him or must be impressed with his proposal. He then thanks his secretary for her decoration as it made half his work easy. Suddenly he realises that Pragya was angry while she left for home. He was also confused about why Pragya aka Nikita was so baffled when he pretended to propose her. He feels bad for upsetting her and wonders why he feels so affected for her. Abhi cannot decides if he made the right decision.
Pragya, on the other hand, is also having sleepless nights. She cannot get over the sight she witnessed at the Mehra's house. She is inconsolably crying and suddenly notices that her Daadi is watching her from a distance. She asks her Daadi when she came but Daadi questions about her day at work. As always Pragya lies but Daadi makes out that she is hiding something. She probes further and asks her to tell her the truth. Pragya confides in her Daadi and reveals the truth to her that Abhi proposed to Tanu and that every time she loses Abhi by an inch. Daadi consoles her saying that she doesn't need to worry as Abhi is her husband and as long as she adorns the vermilion of his name he cannot go away from her. She further assures her that fate will make sure that she ends up with Abhi and nothing can change that. She advises her to not lose faith.
Abhi gets restless and feels that something is wrong. He realises what he did to Pragya was not right and he should not have made fun of Pragya. He decides to apologize to her the next day when she arrives for her work and he is crying. Pragya on the other side cries to sleep and decides that she won’t go to Abhi’s house from now, as Abhi has proposed to Tanu already and if he doesn’t remember his past then he might marry her and then everything will be finished. In the morning Abhi wakes up, Abhi gets up and thinks of the dream he saw. He sees a strange dream that Nikita left him. Aaliya comes and asks what happened last night. Abhi tells her that Tanu was already ready, she obviously agreed. Aaliya says they will have to announce their engagement in front of the media. She says it's important for their careers. Abhi feels sceptical about the idea of a press conference but Aalia convinces him and Abhi hesitantly agrees. He says he hasn't told anything to Daadi. She says she will handle her. He thinks of his Daadi. Pragya wakes up and decides to leave the job. He gets scared to talk to his Daadi. When Aalia leaves his room Abhi thinks to himself that Aalia won’t be able to handle his Daadi and he can’t face her by himself. Abhi then thinks of Nikita that she can convince Daadi as she knows how to talk to elders and calls her. She doesn't pick up. He thinks maybe she is still angry with him. He decides to go to her house and apologise.
Pragya thinks of all that he saw. Sarla comes and wakes her up. Pragya tells her she is not going to office today. She asks why. Pragya lies to her and says her boss has gone out. Her Daadi comes there and asks why isn't she going to office. Pragya tells her that she can't see him with Tanu. Daadi tells her that what she saw was a plan. She shows her the newspaper. She then tells her that this was Aaliya and Tanu's plan. They compelled him to get married to Tanu and he proposed to Tanu just to keep his name from being spoiled. She tells her that they intentionally did all this in front of her so that she leaves Abhi's way herself. Pragya recollects all that Aaliya said. Her Daadi asks her to not leave hope and help Abhi come out of this problem. Pragya realises that she can't leave Abhi like this.
Abhi slyly comes out of his room. Aaliya tells her that she must have left the job as she is very lazy and impatient. He agrees and decides to talk to her. Aaliya stops him and takes him to help her in all the celebrations. Pragya enters and get surprised seeing all the decorations. She enters Abhi's room and starts clearing it. She recalls all the moment she shared with him there. Abhi comes out from the bathroom and asks her how dare she leave the job. She tells him she hasn't left the job. She asks why was he calling her. He asks her to sit. He apologises for yesterday.
Abhi meets and apologises to Pragya for behaving badly with her and for proposing to her. Abhi goes on to tell Pragya that he wanted to propose a girl yesterday and did not know how to do it and that is why he tried to practice it on her and she forgives him. Abhi praises Pragya for her decoration. She asks him why the house is decorated and he tells her about the announcement. He asks what she thinks of all the news about him misbehaving with Tanu. Pragya tells him that she trusts him and he would never do such a thing. They stare at each other for a while. Aaliya is busy decorating the house and the family members ask her what it is about. She tells them that it's a surprise. The family members bicker about them working and Aaliya lazying around. Abhi drags Pragya to Daadi's room and asks her to tell Daadi everything.
She tries to get away from it that she is an employee and not his love guru and would never help him with his love life but he forces her to do it. Daadi asks her why she is in her room. Pragya hesitantly tells Daadi everything. Daadi is shocked to hear this and refuses to believe it. Abhi overhears and enters the room. Daadi asks him if Pragya is right and he tells her and Daasi that she is telling the truth. Daasi explains to Abhi that he should have told his Daadi. Abhi tells Daadi and Daasi that he had to do this to keep the family’s reputation intact. So that media couldn’t tag his family with bad remarks or he would have never proposed to Tanu. He asks Daadi if he has done the right thing and she nods and says that he did the right thing. He leaves and Daadi asks Pragya if it happened in front of her. She asks her why she never bothered to stop him. Pragya says that she is just happy to be around him and doesn't want to harm Abhi. She adds on that she is happy if Abhi is happy and she can do anything for his happiness. She has left everything on her destiny. They cries and Pragya swears to protect Abhi no matter what and then she leaves the room.
Daadi decides to do something about this. She tells Daasi that she won’t keep quiet and she will do something to bring Abhi and Pragya closer. At Pragya’s home, Sarla and Daadi are bickering about not paying enough attention to Pragya. Sarla is confused about Pragya's behaviour and asks Beeji how she can be happy if Pragya is sad. She further questions Beeji that what is going on in Pragya’s life and what is she up to. Beeji ( Daadi ) asks her to calm down and tells her that she shouldn’t worry about Pragya as she is sorted in her life. She suggests her to go for a movie with her. They talk about Purabh's arrival. Aaliya is stunned to see Pragya as she earlier assumed that Pragya won’t come closer to Abhi after whatever happened. Aaliya goes to talk to her and asks her why is she here. They talk about exposing each other. Pragya tells her off by saying that she knows what Aaliya is up to and she will repent soon. She threatens her by saying that if Abhi gets his memory back, they will be the ones in the news and then they won’t be able to show their face to him.
Pragya enters Abhi’s room and asks if she can come in. She sees that she walks in an awkward situation, as Abhi is trying to zip his pant. He ends up tearing it. Abhi says that he has become fat and he wants to look like he used to look 2 years back. Pragya in a haste, lets it slip that he always gets the same pant in two different sizes so he can try his another pant and regrets saying it immediately and looks tensed.
