Everyone breathes a sigh of relief when they realize that it is not Karan's body. They are surprised to see Karan back home later. Karan tries to cheer everyone by talking about Sania's wedding.
Abha tells Chandra everything about Sanskar. Chandra encourages her to save her relationships and indirectly taunts Sheetal. Abha accompanies Chandra and Sheetal for Sanskar and Sania's pre-marital ritual.

Grandma assures Abha that things will be fine soon. Abha challenges Sanskar that Karan will hold her hand before the day ends. Karan gets upset seeing Abha there. The priest asks Karan and Abha to sit for the religious ceremony. During the ceremony, the priest asks Karan to hold Abha's hand. Sanskar is annoyed seeing it. Karan tells Abha to stay away from him.

Sheetal tries to apply `haldi (turmeric paste) on Abha's face, but Abha warns her not to support Sanskar. When Sheetal calls on Sanskar's phone, Karan answers it. Sheetal talks about replacing the tape. Karan asks Sanskar about it; he cooks up a false story that Abha wants to divorce Karan. Sanskar plays an edited tape to Karan. Abha and Lata act secretive in front of Sheetal making her more curious. Karan finally makes a decision regarding his marriage to Abha and decides to divorce Abha but he is unaware that all Sanskar wants is to see Abha and him divorced, and blackmails Abha. He calls her to the temple to tell her about it. Karan sternly asks Abha to sign the divorce papers.
