Abhi overhears Daadi and Sarla talking and tells them that they are talking as if they have known each other for years. Daasi tells him that they feel a connection and Sarla asks to leave as they have left Beeji at home. Abhi asks Purabh to drop them home but stops Nikita from leaving as he needs her. Pragya hesitates but he requests Sarla to let her do overtime for a day. Sarla agrees as Abhi assures her that he will take care of her and will also drop her home. Tanu complaints to Aaliya about not being entirely happy at her own mehendi ceremony. Aaliya tells her that she has a plan to throw Pragya out of the house and Abhi's life. Meanwhile, Pragya is trying to tie the knot of her dress but is unable to do it since she has mehendi on one palm. And obviously, enters Abhi who helps her out with a nice sufi music Zindagi Ke Safar Me plays in the background.
She thanks him and hides her wrist when he demands to see her mehendi. He says that Daadi told him that the darker her mehendi is, the more love you get from your spouse. She tries making an excuse but Abhi is hell bent on seeing it and says she is afraid that he will see her boyfriend’s initial. He forcefully holds her wrist and gets confused if it is an 'A' or a 'V' or an 'N'. She tells him that it was just a design and not an alphabet which he ruined. He swears to find out who her boyfriend is and leaves. Aaliya again has some evil plans for Pragya. She wants to get rid of Pragya before Abhi and Tanu’s marriage. She points out to Abhi's accountant talking to Pragya and tells Tanu that he will ruin Pragya's life. She tells Tanu that this time she has made a fool-proof plan to kick Pragya out from Abhi’s life and his house. She tells Tanu to wait and watch.
The accountant asks Pragya to get some cheques and contracts signed immediately by Abhi. He tells her that it is very urgent and Abhi’s company will suffer a loss if she will take time to read the contracts. Pragya tells the accountant that she will not show the contracts to Abhi without reading, but she will get the cheques signed. She takes the cheques with her and bumps into Aaliya who insults her to reminds Pragya about the past. She blames Pragya foe spoiling her relationship with her brother Abhi. And, today she will take revenge in such a way that Pragya will be insulted by Abhi and throw her out of his life. Pragya smiles and tells her off by saying that she knows how Aaliya used to rip money off Abhi and that she always had the wrong intentions for her brother and she can never win. They have a verbal spat about how Aaliya will ruin Pragya's relationship with Abhi. Pragya meets Abhi and asks him to sign cheques when Abhi starts flirting with her and he holds her hand asking how she felt when he applied mehendi on her palm by mistake of his name. She puts it off by saying that she just felt itchy.
Just as he is about to sign the cheque, Aaliya storms in asking him to not sign any cheques or contracts. Aaliya tells him that Pragya has been duping him for money and all the cheques will directly go into her own account. Abhi finds it difficult to believe whatever Aaliya is saying and says if Nikita needs money then she will ask him and will not do this work. Aaliya says she will not ask and will opt for short cut instead. Abhi asks her to tell and not to blame her. Aaliya says she has taken advantage of his simplicity and came here to ruin him. Abhi is shocked.
Aaliya says that Pragya wants Abhi’s money and is cheating him under the impression of handing over bonuses to his employees. Abhi refuses to accept Aaliya’s allegations and says that he can never accept that Nikata will cheat him. Aaliya says that Nikita also planned to take his sign on a contract after which all his property would become Nikita’s. Aaliya continues to accuse Pragya but Abhi who finds it difficult to believe stops her saying that he believes what he sees and yells at Aaliya for calling Pragya names. And in all the time he spent with his secretary he has learnt that she cannot cheat him. Aaliya tells him that she has proof and snatches the documents from Pragya's hands. Hence, she reads out the papers Pragya brought for Abhi and it says that Abhi’s business and property would be transferred into her name.
When Pragya tries to justify saying that the papers were given by the accountant and she has no idea what it meant, but Aaliya doesn't let her finish and asks her to keep silent. She keeps manipulating Abhi into believing her and then continues to accuse Pragya saying that she chose the best occasion to accomplish her plans and hence brought these papers today. Pragya tells Abhi that she did not know about the papers. But Daadi interferes and asks Aaliya how she knows what the papers actually were and if she read them before. But Aaliya tactfully handles her, she calls her Daadi innocent and asks her to not interfere. Abhi also asks Aaliya how she knew about the papers when Aaliya saying that she saw the accountant coming home to meet Nikita and not Abhi, she followed the two and overheard Nikita and Manohar, Abhi’s accountant speaking and lies to Abhi about it that’s how she found about Nikita’s intentions. Pragya tries to justify that she has not done anything but Aaliya overpowers her and starts blaming her once again to prove her guilty. Aaliya asks Abhi to call the police and get Nikita arrested.
Manohar tries to run away but Abhi stops him and tries to find the truth. Abhi hits him for cheating and demands to know who bribed him to do such a cheap work. Pragya hopes that Manohar would stand by her side but he switches sides. Manohar tells Abhi that he was in need of money and Nikita enticed him with an offer, which is why he created those papers. He tells that Nikita wants to bankrupt Abhi and take over all his money. He also adds that Aaliya is telling the truth. Pragya is shocked to see Manohar join Aaliya’s side and portray her in bad light too. Abhi is mortified to hear this and wonders if he made a mistake by trusting Pragya.
Back in Pragya’s house, Sarla expresses her worries to Beeji and tells her everything that happened during Abhi's mehendi ceremony. Beeji ( Prague's Daadi) is happy that destiny is on Abhi and Pragya’s side and is giving signals to Abhi. Sarla says that she wants Abhi and Pragya to reunite once again. She is delighted to see Abhi’s concern for her daughter despite not remembering her real identity. Beeji scolds her for leaving Pragya at Abhi's house and Sarla gets mad at her. Aaliya has brought Tanu to her room to explain the second part of her plan. She is pleased to finds out that Aaliya has planned all this. Aaliya asks Tanu to call the police and inform them about a theft taking place in Mehra residence. Tanu panics but Aaliya asks her to do this job since she needs to take the drama forward.
Manohar sticks to his words and pleads to be not guilty and accuses Nikita for framing him. But Abhi who refuses to believe the accountant slaps him hard saying that he is lying and framing his secretary in bad light. He is about to slap him again when Aaliya walks in and tries to cover up for Manohar and asks why is he not believing her and the accountant. She adds on that she overheard them talking. She tells Abhi that he trusting his secretary so blindly that he couldn’t see her real face and must see the truth. She shows him the papers and asks why her name is written on the papers if she didn't do anything. Aaliya asks Abhi to hand over Nikita to the police since she was about to commit a crime. She tells him that if Abhi had signed those papers then all his property would have transferred on Nikita’s name. Aaliya announces that she will send Nikita to jail. Daadi scolds her for calling the police. Aaliya justifies her decision.
As per Aaliya’s plan the police arrives at Mehra Villa to arrest Pragya asking for Nikita Arora. Aaliya points to Pragya but Abhi and Daadi stop them from taking Pragya saying that the accountant must have done something. But Aaliya insists them to not become so emotional and let the police investigate the matter in their own way and will decide it. Pragya holds Abhi's hand and asks him if he really thinks she would do something like this. Abhi asks the inspector to leave and let them handle the situation but the police take her anyway.
Purabh, who went to drop Sarla is shocked to see Pragya being taken away by the police. He tries to stop them but the officer reveals that Pragya is accused of using fradulent practices to take over Abhi’s property. Purabh tries to convince the police officer but they refuse to listen and ask him to come to police station if he wants to say anything about Nikita. Purabh then approaches Abhi who is already shocked and asks how he lost trust over his secretary despite knowing how loyal she is. Aaliya realises that Purabh might change Abhi’s mind and hence accuses Pragya of making Purabh on her side too.
She says that girls like Nikita are well aware of the skills to get control over rich men like Abhi and Purabh. She accuses her as a cheat but Purabh loses his cool as he cannot tolerate her accusation and raises his hand to slap her. Abhi stops him and asks how can he raise hands on his family for Nikita, who is just a secretary. Purabh impulsively tells him that Nikita is not merely a secretary and was about to reveal his real identity but tells that she is his real fan. He reminds Abhi about the moments he spent with her. Abhi refuses to talk about her saying he wants to be left alone and walks towards his room. He looks at himself in the mirror tries to recall the memories of Nikita, he reminisce about everything from their moments together to Tanu’s reaction and wonders if he made a mistake by trusting her.
On the other hand, Pragya is disheartened as the police officer escorts her to the lockup. She realises that few hours ago she was rejoicing about having Abhi’s mehendi in her palms and now she is inside the jail. She is hoping that Abhi will come to rescue her anyhow. Abhi is so upset that he decides to make a drink for himself to relax for a while. But suddenly he remembers the time when Nikita stopped him from taking alcohol by blackmailing him using his Daadi’s name. Angrily he throws the glass on the floor breaking it and wonders about who is right, Aaliya or Nikita.
Sarla and Beeji cannot sleep since Pragya has not returned home till now and start bickering again. She decides to call Pragya and ask if she has left or not. Suddenly the door bell rings and they notice Purabh coming home alone. He informs them that Aaliya had trapped Pragya in a fraud case and got her arrested as well. Sarla cannot believe that Abhi didn’t keep the promise he made to her about taking care of her and dropping her home and she cries. Aaliya and Tanu are rejoicing their victory but Tanu is still apprehensive about Pragya coming back and taking revenge. But Aaliya asks her to relax as she has left no scope for Pragya to prove her innocence. She laughs it out as her Daadi and Daasi overhear them talking.
Since Pragya gets arrested leaving Abhi somewhat restless. He cannot sleep as he is constantly thinking about his secretary. He cannot decide if he made a mistake by sending her to jail without investigating the truth. But Abhi doesn’t know how to find the truth too. So he plans to speak to Nikita personally and find out the truth himself. Abhi visits her in the police station and the female constable calls Nikita outside saying that Abhi has come to meet her. Pragya feels relaxed to see him. They hold hands and stare at each other for sometime. Abhi leaves her hand and asks her why she cheated him. He says that he gave her all the rights he never gave anyone till date. He always treated her as his family member and gave special preference to her each time. Abhi also reveals that he never felt so pained after she left him alone and that he is upset that she broke his trust. Pragya is surprised with his question and asks if she looks like a thief to him. She asks him to look into her eyes and answer if he sees a friend or a cheat.
She says that she has never lied to him so cheating is simply out of question. Pragya reveals to Abhi that she loves him and wants to be with him forever. She tells him that he is aware that they are made for each other which is why they cannot live without each other. She tells him that she is not saying these things so he can get her out of it and asks if he really thinks she can ever cheat him. Abhi is left stunned as Nikita/Pragya confesses her love for him. Abbi who is still surprised with her confession tells that he is going to marry Tanu. Pragya says that loving him was her choice and she is also ready to let him marry Tanu. But Pragya request to let Abhi be with her forever the way she is now. Abhi gives a puzzled look at her and doesn’t know how to react to the situation. Pragya asks Abhi to ask his heart if she can cheat him or hurt him ever.
