Munna goes excited and thanks God for bringing back his sister into their lives again while they were performing the prayer. Munna praises the priest for his mantras, he goes near Zara, touches her arm, and cries out with joy that she is real. Zara is baffled. Munna, overjoyed, takes some notes and wards her off from evil eye and starts talking to her in hurried manner.
Zara gets irritated telling him to stop and stay away from her. Munna is happier to see her strong reaction and tells others that she is definitely Iron Lady. Munna cries out to a stunned Kutumb to meet her daughter. Kutumb goes to Zara doubtfully and fondles Zara’s face calling out Indira. Zara tries to evade her but Kutumb goes emotional and beseeches her to embrace her. Zara feels awkward in the embrace. At this moment, Kutumb recollects holding Indira for the first time in the hospital when she was born and nurse handing the baby to her. Kutumb exclaims that the baby is the goddess of wealth of the house. Coming to the present, Zara tries to move away but Kutumb goes more happy and emotional stating to Inder that her daughter is back. Shwetha shakes her head in dismay. Rishi continues to watch Zara imploringly. Meanwhile, Inder gets flashback of carrying Indira in his arms for the first time and names her Indira, as she is Inder’s daughter. He even places Kutumb’s kajal on the baby face to ward off from all evil forces. Coming to the present, Inder takes the black substance from the Havan and places it below Zara’s cheek to ward off evil forces from. Zara feels awkward. Inder continues to tell her that Indu is safe in company of Sehar and not to worry about her. He blesses her.
Zara walks forwards trying to explain, just then Ishaan goes to his knees and breaks down holding onto her waist. Zara is stunned by his act. Ishaan recollects Indira asking him if he had completed his homework. Coming to the present, Ishaan goes emotional telling her that she has arrived late and his homework is still pending. He also misses her a lot. Ishaan holds her hand and beseeches her to promise him not to leave him. That moment, Inder remind him that he isn’t stammering now and Munna joyfully tells him it is because his aunt is back and ask him to stand up. Zara is trying to explain to them and even Shwetha too is trying to say it is a misunderstanding. Rishi removes the Gatbandhan clothing and approaches Zara with tearful eyes. He goes to embrace her to her bewilderment. Shwetha goes speechless as others regard them with happiness. Rishi goes emotional and calls her 'My wife'. She pushes him back abruptly asking him what he is doing and Rishi is stunned. Meanwhile, Shwetha tries to make the Sharmas realise that Indira is dead and yell at everyone to stop and that she is not Babli, nor his wife nor Indira nor Ishaan’s aunt but Zara Malik Khan from Mumbai and she is a police Inspector. Shwetha goes to tell them more that Indira is dead and she will not come back to their lives. Everyone else give her a baffled look.
Going agitated, Shwetha charges towards Zara asking her why she had come back in spite of her warning not to show her face again and asks what relationship she has with the house and why she has to come back again. Zara blurts out that her that she came to meet her husband, as her husband lives here. For a moment, Shwetha goes speechless and Rishi is stunned. Zara gives a smile in Rishi direction and blurts out that he is her husband. Rishi and Sharma family members are overjoyed. Rishi smiles extending his arm for her. Shwetha shakes her head in dismay. Zara walks towards Rishi and walks past him towards Khan who is dismounting the stairs just right behind Rishi. Rishi’s smile fades and he turn around to face Khan who gives him a mysterious look. Zara and Khan greet each other and he asks her why she is here now. Before Zara could say anything, Rishi holds her arms calling her Indira and asks her what she is talking about. Khan reminds him saying that she is Zara. Zara in turn adds Malik Khan to it and states that Khan is her shohan. Rishi is baffled. Rishi once again questions her why is she doing all this. Khan interrupts and pushes him away from her. Zara removes Rishi’s arm from her. Khan tells a stunned Rishi to take a deep breath and then come to reality. He warns Rishi that misunderstanding is all right but misbehaving with other man’s wife is not good. Meanwhile, Munna comes forward, he tells Rishi not to be tensed and admonishes Zara that she is Indira and why she is with the tenant “My name is Khan” and why she has kept her name as Zara. He asks her if there is a shooting taking place at the house. Munna goes on to explain to her that Rishi was very upset after losing her and now she is acting very coldly towards all of them. Munna continues to argue. Khan stops him, picks up her baggage, holding her hand and he goes upstairs. Kutumb stops her stating that she needs to take her aarthi. Kutumb performs the aarthi on her. Khan watches each of the members suspiciously and Inder comes to offer her some flavours of Kulfi that he had reserved it for her. Munna once again admonishes her not to create drama and scolds Khan for regarding them suspiciously. Finally, Zara tells everyone to stop their comments and asks why are they calling her different names. She tells them sternly that she is Zara Malik Khan, she is indeed Khan’s wife, and has no relationship with these family members. The Sharmas who believe Zara is Indira are stunned by her remark and the get upset when Zara announces that she is not Indira and Shwetha appears comforted.
In the meantime, Indu is coming to consciousness and utters “Mummy” constantly. Sehar who is sitting beside her is happy to hear her voice. Inder stutters going hurt that he still does not agree with Zara’s words. Khan gives them all disdainful look as Inder goes emotional and cries that he was longing for her to come back and now she is behaving oddly. Zara goes emotional and once again reminds others that she is Zara and not Indira or babli or Iron Lady. Khan tries to make the Sharma family understand that Zara is not Indira and ironically blurts out that it was a deep misunderstanding and commands Zara to go upstairs. Zara regards a sorrowful and hurt Inder walk away from her and tells him wholeheartedly that she wishes him to find his Babli back soon. Indar walks away with a look of dismay. Ishaan, Munna, Kutumb, and Rishi too look dejected. Suddenly, Sehar comes up at the balcony and informs the family that Indu is gaining consciousness. Zara is pleased. Shwetha interrupts saying that Indu should not come to know about the event happening which disappoints Zara. Shwetha asks Mr Khan to take his wife to his room as she does not want Indu to know who Indira was. Zara keeps looking back at the downcasted faces of others and mounts the stairs along with Khan hand in hand. Sehar calls Shwetha to come upstairs and Shwetha rushes upstairs. Meanwhile, the priest questions them if he has to continue with the prayer or not. Rishi’s eyes are searching for Zara at the balcony and others are too disturbed to answer the priest. Shwetha comes down the stairs and cheerfully urges the priest to continue with the prayer and also asks the disappointed and reluctant Sharmas to participate in the prayer which she had organised for Indu's good health and good being. She then sits down beside Rishi and ties the Gatbhandan herself into two tight knots . Rishi looks at it in consternation.
Mr Khan asks Zara about her mission and further asks if she is working on a secret mission. Zara tries to make Mr Khan understand that she is suspended from her job. She does not tell Mr Khan that she is an undercover cop and tells him that she is not in uniform and why should he suspect her. Mr Khan tries to get intimate with Zara, but fails. Meanwhile, Rishi feels uncomfortable as he could not digest the fact that Zara is not Indira. He feels his fingertips bitten by flames of havan while performing prayer. Moreover, he could not tolerate that Indira's look-alike and Mr Khan are staying in the same room and gets up in the midst of the prayer. Zara receives Rishi's message. Rishi wants to talk to Zara about a certain thing and so he asks her to meet him on the terrace in the night. Indu gets elated when she spots Zara in the house. Shweta gets furious when she spots Indu and Zara. She forcibly takes Indu to her room. Later, Rishi tries to make Zara accept the fact that she is Indira. Zara feels awkward when Rishi tries to get intimate with her.
At the terrace, Mr Khan gets furious when he spots Rishi trying to get closer with Zara. He pulls Rishi’s hand from Zara and drags him down the stairs fuming at him and asking how dare he hold the hand of other man’s wife?. Rishi looks at Zara smirking confidently and says not other man’s wife but she is his wife and no one can stop him from touching his wife. He tells Khan that she is not his wife, Zara Malik Khan but it is Indira Sharma and he ( Khan ) will not understand it so easily. In anger, Mr Khan is about to slap Rishi. Zara holds his hand and stops him to Khan’s amazement and Rishi’s pleasure. In Indu’s bedroom, Shwetha is forcing Indu to go to Bed. Indu stubbornly tells her that she doesn’t want to sleep as she wants to talk to stonehearted aunty first. Indu stands on the bed with her hands on her hips which irritates Shwetha and Shwetha forcefully make her to sleep. Indu blurts out that the stonehearted aunty has also made Shwetha stonehearted and that ever since she has come, Shwetha has gone hot-tempered. Shwetha looks up at Indu remorsefully.
Zara is stunned to see herself preventing Khan’s slap on Rishi and takes back her hand from the equally stunned Khan. Zara then gets furious on Rishi asking how dare he play a dirty joke on her and further asks if he don't feel ashamed?. Rishi sternly asks Why would he. He tells her that she is his wife and he have married her. A frustrated Zara asks what marriage and points out that she is not his wife. She then asks if he is out of his senses?. Rishi says he is seeing sense now and also that time, it is that same face, same voice and the same habits. Adding that something is screeching inside him that she is his wife and she is his Indira. Zara is amazed as he says it cannot be any look alike of his wife, his daughter escaped in the train to Mumbai and she save her life and even took good care of her in her place. Later, she went to Bhopal to save Indu who was taking part in cycle race from danger and only she apart from other police force received this information and she went to save her. And now, she is in Delhi. He adds on that Delhi is big city, but she need to find a place like Chandni Chowk to stay. He then asks her if she couldn't find any other place in Delhi?. Zara and Khan are amazed as Rishi says Zara prevented her husband from slapping him and she did it so bravely. He asks if she isn't right in doing this?. Zara and Khan exchange baffled looks with each other as Rishi continue to says this is all happening because of divinity, as he wants him to meet his wife and smiles at their baffled looks.
Khan tells Rishi that he is not convinced and asks him to come that he will show him something. To prove that Zara is not Indira, Mr Khan shows his and Zara's marriage video footage to Rishi in year 2000. Rishi is amazed to see Zara’s face in the marriage footage. He is even more surprised to find Zara’s voice similar to Indira when she says I do. He then asks a stunned Rishi if he have seen all this and if he still want to say anything?. He adds on that Zara Malik Khan is his wife and their Nikah took place 12 years back. He then asks how is it possible that she could be his Indira. Rishi confidently says he is right and there is a misunderstanding. He tells Khan that he too want to show him something else. He turns on his laptop to play the footage of his and Indira’s wedding. He also shows his and Indira's marriage video footage to Zara and Mr Khan. Later, Rishi and Indira seated together during Mandira’s engagement. Indira dressed up as a clown and later while she dances in Mandira’s wedding. Khan is bowled over by the sight of Indira. Zara gets shocked when she realises that she resembles Indira and asks how is it possible?. Rishi asks Khan what happened and why is he speechless?. He point out that the way he showed him the proof of his wife Zara Malik Khan, he too showed him the proof of his wife, Indira. He asks Zara to honesty tell him if he is Zara or his wife. Zara gives him a bewildered look as Rishi turns to go away. Khan calls Rishi and he stops. He approaches him humbly and tells Rishi that the other day, he too was shocked to see the photo in his wallet and that moment he couldn’t apprehend it but such co-incidence happen when they meet different people. He further tells Rishi that he wanted to return the photo that day itself but did not have the courage. He then hand over the picture to him and plead with him to take back his wife’s photo. He takes out his wallet and returns Indira’s photo to Rishi as Zara witness this in disbelief. Rishi takes the photo and walks away. Zara goes to consider Indira’s photo in disbelief on Rishi’s laptop and touches her cheeks. She asks how is it possible to have some resemble exactly like her and deceive people?.
Shwetha who gets irritated as Indu wants to meet Zara and is singing lullaby to Indu who is lying on the bed wide-awake. Indu sits up on the bed and tells her that she will forgive Shwetha and ask her if she will not go to sleep. Shwetha tells her that she will sleep late, as she does not want to lose anything. Later, Indu apologises to Shweta. Rishi, seated by the staircase is pondering over Zara and Khan’s Nikah wedding and Holding Zara’s hands. He goes remorse as he tried to get closer with Zara and swears that he will not forgive himself for this act for holding another man’s wife. He goes to hit his hand against the wall in frustration. Shwetha comes to his aid and holds his hand. Rishi blurts out to Shwetha that he committed a mistake. Shwetha pacifies Rishi as he mistook Zara for Indira and wipe his tears in a loving manner and convinces him that it is all right to make a mistake. Rishi suddenly withdraws his hand from her. She goes on to suggest him that the past that will affect Indu’s future. If Zara continues to stay at their place then Indu may find out through someone that her mother resembles Zara. She tells Rishi to consider over this matter and then come to a decision. Rishi goes in cogitative mood. In the terrace room, Zara and Khan are lying down on different beds. Zara iscstill restless and helps Khan with a blanket. Shwetha goes to cuddle against sleeping Indu.
The next morning, someone knocks on Zara’s room door. Zara throws the blanket and pillow on the floor from Khan’s bed and goes to open the door for remorse looking Rishi. Rishi apologize to her for misbehaving with her the previous night. She says it's alright that she understand that he have been deceived by her looks. She then goes to fold the bedspread. Rishi comes inside and tells her that moment he felt as if his Indira, his wife just came to stand in front of him and asks if she can understand?. A curious Zara says she is not able to understand and takes the folded sheets and walks behind to bang against the wall. Rishi come to her side instantly and look into her eyes making her awkward. In a flash, he backs off. He frustrated turns away from her and says she can't understand and no one can understand this. But he have made a decision. She asks what decision is he talking about. Rishi asks Zara to leave from the Sharma Niwas. She is shocked. He tells Zara that from the past eight years, he has been subsiding his pain. He adds that he cannot control his emotions in Zara's presence. Zara is left shocked when Rishi mentions that Indira died eight years back. He explained that his wife departed 8 years back. She had brain tumor and Zara goes thoughtful. He faces her in frustration and asks why don’t she just go away. He can’t help feeling that his wife is standing beside him and he don’t want to make the same mistakes again and again asks why is she standing here?. He plead with her to go away as soon as possible, as touching another man’s wife is a sin. He walks away from the room. Zara is still in bewilderment about the 8 years back and says this cannot be true.
