Sanskar tries to prove that Abha loves him by showing false letters and phone messages. Karan is almost convinced. Thakur, Grandma and Chandra show their trust on Abha but Karan believes Sanskar and decides to break ties with Abha.

When Karan asks Sanskar whom he wishes to marry, he says that he wishes to marry Sania. Abha is forced to admit that she loves Sanskar. Karan breaks all ties with Abha and asks her to leave the house. The Prasad and the Singh family are in turmoil as Karan severs all ties with Abha. Abha leaves the house with a heavy heart.

Karan refuses to believe Abha. While Sanskar tells Sania the bitter truth, she still requests Sanskar not to leave her, but he does not heed. Everyone tries to convince Karan, but of no avail. Abha fails to convince others. Sania tries to commit suicide. Karan promises her that he will get her married to Sanksar.

Vimal, Shaili and Sanskar celebrate their victory. Karan misses Abha a lot. He goes to Thakur's house to return her belongings. Sania is shocked to know that Karan asked Abha to leave the house. But Shaili and Sanskar manage to convince her that Abha is wrong. Grandma assures Jagmohan that Abha will pass the ordeal.

Thakur and Chandra wonder what is making Abha helpless. Sheetal tries to criticize Abha, but Chandra stops her. Abha records the conversation about Sanskar asking her to divorce Karan. Sania comes to meet Abha. Abha tells Sania that she doesn't want to get her married to Sanskar. While she is about to make her hear the recording, she gets the news that Karan is missing. Abha gives the tape to Sania.

Abha gives the wrong tape to Sania. While Sanskar wonders where the real tape is, Sheetal always finds a way to side with the enermy and informs him that she had replaced it. Sania criticizes Abha. So do Sanskar and Vimal. Abha chides Vimal for supporting Sanskar. Vimal tells everyone that they have to go to the hospital urgently. While searching for Karan's photo, Raghav finds the tape. But when he is about to play it, Sheetal stops him. The inspector tells the family that he has called them to identify a dead body with his belongings. Abha is shocked to see Karan's belongings. Everyone later breathes a sigh of relief when they realize that it is not Karan's body.
