Thakur tells Jagmohan that Aabha is no longer his daughter. Jagmohan tells Thakur that Aabha is Karans wife, but not his daughter-in-law; and that he will make her realize it every moment. The lights go off when Grandma is about to welcome Aabha as a bride. Jagmohan takes it to be his victory and tells his mother that no rituals will be fulfilled for Aabha. Thakur loses his senses with the thought that Aabha is now his enemys daughter-in-law. Grandma gets lamps lit up in the entire house and welcomes Aabha as a bride.
Jagmohan refuses to bless Karan and Aabha. Chandra misses Aabha. Jagmohan declares that Aabha will never get the status of a daughter-in-law. He orders Karan and Aabha to live in the store room; and puts a condition that Aabha will have to break all ties with her family. Thakur destroys Aabhas belongings. Jagmohans mother tells him that he is unaware of what he is losing.
Thakur destroys the replica of Swarn Bhavan in a fit of rage. Karan and Abha clean up the store room. Sanskar feels very upset. Abha tells Karan that they will not get into a husband wife relationship until the family accepts them.
