Monday Update On Begusarai

Lakhan orders Poonam to do the worship for him instead of doing the regular prayers before the statue of God. The family is surprised and try to protest but Lakhan asks them to keep quite. He also begins to speak of Poonam's involvement with Priyom and this forces Poonam to do as asked. She does the worship for Lakhan but ends up facing more insult.

Later, Guddi sees Dolt standing on one leg and she remembers the task that was given by her. She realizes that Dolt has gone mad for her and finally takes back the task as she feels that he is about to fall into trouble.

Rekha serves tea to the family but her evil mind continues to remain in play. She ploys a plan to create problems for Poonam and asks her to reach the terrace with the tray of tea. Poonam reaches upstairs but is surprised to find Priyom there. While the two of them start a conversation, Rekha brings Lakhan to the terrace and shows him a sight that gets him furious.

Lakhan sees Priyom and Poonam speaking to each other and burns with rage. When Poonam realizes that Lakhan has been watching her all this while, she is shocked and imagines Lakhan crossing all levels of evilness to teach her a lesson. As soon as she comes back from her reverie, she rushes to explain herself to Lakhan. Poonam is left in a dilemma as to how to explain to Lakhan that she isn't involved with Priyom anymore.

When Dolt informs Guddi about the immense amount of love he has for her, she challenges him to declare his love before the entire family. Meanwhile, Lakhan resorts to drinking and after having his fill, he reaches home. The family is astonished seeing Lakhan in the house, completely drunk.
Lakhan staggers in his every step but reaches Poonam's room. He starts to shout at her and makes absurd accusations. Priyom reaches the room and sees this. He initially tries his best to speak to Lakhan and stop him. But when Lakhan goes on to lay accusations and defame Poonam, Priyom loses his temper. He slaps Lakhan as he is unable to bear the insult against Poonam.
Poonam in turn also slaps Priyom for raising his hand against Lakhan.

Priyom is shocked, Poonam asks as to how dare he (Priyom) raise his hand on Lakhan. She also tells Priyom not to interfere between a husband and a wife matter. Priyom tries to make Poonam understand that Lakhan is defaming her but Poonam rudely tells Priyom to mind his own business. She tells Priyom that she will continue to listen to the taunt all her life and she will also bear all of it. Poonam tells Priyom that he has no right to come over there, Priyom tells Poonam that he feels like killing Lakhan because he defame her. Poonam tells Priyom that if he wants to touch Lakhan then he would first have to kill her.

Poonam asks Priyom to get lost from there and he is stunned. Poonam asks Priyom to leave from there else she will do something, she drags Priyom out of the room and closes door. Poonam comes to Lakhan and tries to help him but Lakhan angrily tells her not to touch him. Poonam tells Lakhan that he can keep her away from himself but she will return to him always as he is part of her life now. Lakhan tells Poonam that she is a liar, he adds that she has broken his heart. Poonam sets Lakhan on bed and covers him with a blanket and he sleeps. Poonam in tears tells herself that she cannot bear the pains and suffering anymore. Poonam asks God to either give her a chance to prove that her intentions are true or take her life.
