Indira is relieved when Vidit receives the call and assures to soon return home for her wedding. She narrates to Vidit how Kutumb and Munna betrayed her by accepting Sameer's proposal. Indira also informs him how Rishi helped her to reject the proposal.
It is revealed that the person, who received Indira's call, was Rishi and not Vidit. The doctor calls up Indira and informs her that Inder has undergone an ECG test. The doctor assures to give his verdict only after going through the reports. Indira requests the doctor not to inform Inder that she would be paying the fees for his treatment. In the evening when Indira returns home, someone comes to Sharma Niwas to drop Inder's medical reports. Meanwhile, Inder who is still unwell suffers from severe chest pain. Jhumpa who is with him at that time does not pay attention. Indira calls up the doctor and enquires with him about Inder's reports. The doctor informs Indira that Inder had twice suffered from mild heart attacks earlier and that if he suffers again, there were chances that he may die. Indira is left worried.
Inder suffers from severe chest pain. Jhumpa does not pay attention as she believes that Inder was feigning illness. Jhumpa is surprised when Indira arrives at Inder's shop and expresses concern for him. Indira requests the passerby not only to call the doctor but also to get an ambulance. Jhumpa accuses Indira of pretending to be concerned about Inder. Indira gets furious and slaps Jhumpa. Jhumpa feels insulted and leaves without even bothering about Inder.
Indira calls up Rishi and seeks his help to hospitalize Inder. At the hospital, Indira gets worried when the staff refuses to admit Inder as they had to attend to other emergency cases due to the fire, which had broken out nearby. The ward boy tells Indira to admit Inder to some other hospital as they had no beds available in their hospital. Indira gets furious but the doctor intervenes and assures to give him treatment. Indira finds an empty space in one corner of the hospital and keeps Inder over there, on the floor.
Meanwhile, Jhumpa arrives at Sharma Niwas and hands over Inder's belongings. She tells the family that she does not need Inder in her life and so he should stay along with them. Kutumb gets worried on learning that Inder was unwell. After examining Inder, the doctor informs Indira that Inder would soon recover. An anxious, Kutumb arrives at the hospital along with Munna. She panics when she sees Inder's condition. Kutumb rages at Indira and insults her for not managing a proper bed for Inder even when he was unwell. Kutumb is unaware about the situation in which Indira had hospitalized Inder.
Munna is furious as Indira could not manage a proper bed for Inder even when he was unwell. Indira had to keep Inder on the floor as there were no beds available in the hospital and Inder needed immediate treatment. Rishi intervenes and tells Munna that the staff would arrange a bed for Inder the following day. Munna and Kutumb make an excuse and return home. They ask Indira to stay back and take care of Inder. Rishi too waits back to help Indira. He holds Inder's saline bottle all through the night.
The next morning, Indira challenges Rishi to arrange a room for Inder. Rishi agrees to accept the challenge on the condition that Indira must accept his challenge, if he wins. Rishi wins the challenge and transfers Inder to the room. He tells Indira not to forget her promise and that he would challenge her some other day. The doctor tells Indira that Inder would get discharged after he regains consciousness. The doctor advises Indira not to allow Inder to do any physical activity. He informs Indira that Inder needed to undergo an angioplasty immediately and after that if needed, he may even suggest a bypass surgery. Meanwhile Munna and Kutumb arrive in the hospital. They are shocked on learning that Inder's treatment will cost Rs 600 lakh. When the doctor leaves, Kutumb advises Indira to accept Sameer's deal for Sharma Niwas. Indira, however, refuses to sell the house. When the nurse hands over Inder's bill to Kutumb, she gets worried as to how to manage to pay the hospital bills. Munna arrives with Sameer and tells Kutumb not to worry as Sameer would help them.
