Sunday Update On Lies Of The Heart Episode 463 - 464

After Urmi declares that Diya will be her daughter-in-law, she asks her mother-in-law Damini if she heard it. Sandhya and Anirudh are boggled out of their wits. She says that she has decided that she will get Diya and Shaurya married, shocking both of them, while Damini is in a rage as Urmi makes it clear that she accepts Diya as her daughter-in-law.

At Akash Kumar’s residence, Ishaani continues ogling at Akash Kumar, while he gets his fitting done, for his next red carpet appearance. He asks for Ishaani’s opinion, and when she commends it profusely, he fixes it as final. For the next dress trial, Ishaani herself makes him wear it, and they both feel the electric sprak, while he is amused, as she blushes. She then retreats after having done the trials. He says that he is done for the day and is about to leave, when he comes to Ishaani, and then untangles her hair free and loose from the clutcher in her hair, and says that he likes it like this, referring to her as Ishi. She is in a romantic dream world, that she imagines for herself and Akash.
At Urmi’s residence, Damini attempts to get Diya thrown out the house and say a lot of disgusting things to her but Anirudh stand up for Diya that she is going nowhere. Diya says that Damini is right as she has a social circle, and that after the case is over, she can fend for herself now. Urmi refuses saying that her father-in-law Anirudh is right, as she can't be left alone in a situation like this. Just then, Ishaani comes back extremely happy. Shaurya picks on it and asks her what's the matter. She asks him to call her a better nick name, like Ishi. He understands that Akash Kumar’s blind love is getting on Ishaani, and she blushes and goes inside.

A person called Sumit Prajapati comes with his family, while all are tensed as they don't know him. He introduces himself, while Anirudh says that he didn't recognise them. He says that he has come here to accept Diya’s hand in marriage, as he wants to marry her. They are all shocked as Diya gets a marriage proposal while Diya is boggled herself. Shaurya says that they don't know him, and why this request all of a sudden. Urmi stops him and then asks them herself. Sumit’s father introduces themselves, and then they are seated. Sumit says that he wants to explain, he says that Diya isn't a stranger, and he has been following her case closely, and he has been vastly impressed by her confidence and determination. Anirudh says that they look good and genuine, and they felt nice with the simplicity of the offer, and that the fact is they don't know about them much, and can't decide on marriage in a second. Urmi says that diya is the daughter of their house. Sumit’s father says that he understands the severity of the situation, and then asks them to enquire to their satisfaction about them, their family and their background and only then come to a decision. The mother says that they need Diya as soon as possible, as Sumit has selected a person with much difficulty. He gives Anirudh his business card, saying that they will wait for their response, after they confirm everything about him and the family. Damini eyes them curtly.

On the roof, Shaurya finds Diya lost in thoughts, and comes to her. He asks what's she thinking, if such a stranger can come and ask for marriage. She complies, saying that she feels weird. He says that its right, and she can refuse if she wants to, as it isn't a compromise or helplessness that she has to, as her happiness is paramount, and hence she always do that which makes her happy. She says that the biggest pain in life, is not heartbreak, but breaking of trust, and since that's done once, she doesn't want to take hasty decisions like this, and then finds him lost. She then asks him that she can see something in his eyes. He is taken aback, whether she sees feelings for her in his eyes. She asks if he has a wish. He is boggled. She shows him that his one of the hairs of the eyelashes has come out, and he will be granted a wish for that. He is relieved and asks if she believes in this stuff. She draws it out of the eyelid, and then gives it to him, while he takes in a stance, while she instructs him what to do next. He stares at her, while she excitedly tells him what to do. He says that he will do it just for her, and then makes a wish. She asks him what he wished for. He lovely addresses her as Diya, and she is surprised. Then he composes himself, saying that this is immature. She says that she hopes his wish comes true. He eyes her lovingly, while she smiles, and goes inside. He smiles to himself, wondering if whether he is in love.

Later, in the night, Ishaani is torn between whether to send a message or not, and then decides against it. But just then, she gets his message, wishing her goodnight, calling her by her nick name Ishi. She is overjoyed and goes into a dream sequence with Akash Kumar.

The next morning, all settle down for breakfast. Anirudh says that he enquired about the prajapatis and then found everything clean and that they are a nice and respectable family. Sandhya and Urmi are happy. They are all tensed, as suddenly Damini’s voice calling out to Diya, alarms them all. In front of everyone, Damini apologises to Diya for having said whatever she did the night earlier. They are boggled and still unconvinced, while Diya is tensed. Shaurya is shocked at this sudden change. Diya asks her not to say all this, while Damini is utterly apologetic about what she said, and says that she doesn't know what came over her. Diya says that it's okay as she is elder to her. Damini says that age don't make a person senior, but by the ideas, just like hers and her heart. She thanks Diya for forgiving her. She has tears in her eyes, as she then addresses Urmi and Anirudh and apologises to them too. Urmi says that seniors look good to apologising but blessing the juniors. Damini caresses Diya and says that Diya too is like Ishaani for her, as the house, this family and the relations are hers too. Alok says that she got the permanent visa to stay here from now on. Damini excitedly says that she should be very clear if she wants to marry this suitor or not, as now her grandma, shall see to it, that she goes with much pomp. She says that if she doesn't like it, then she should stay here, with them, as she belongs to them now, and can stay as long as she wants. Damini goes inside, while Diya gets emotionally overwhelmed unaware that Damini is indirectly Urges her to accept it.

At Akash’s residence, Hurriedly Ishaani reports to her job late, and Akash’s designer gives her a thrashing that this isn't her college project that she can afford to be casual and frivolous. He then asks Simran to be polite, as she must have been stuck in traffic. Ishaani says that she reported late, since she couldn't sleep the whole night, not due to traffic. He interrupts the designer commenting that she is so cute and then asks her why she got so late. He addresses her as Ishi, while she fumbles to say something. Just then, a married woman hollers out to Akash Kumar, and all look at her surprised while Ishaani’s tensed.

The lady rudely talks to Akash and asks him to come aside for sometime as she wants to talk right now. He asks her to wait while he wraps this up. But she rudely insists that it's either right now, or else she will talk right now, in front of all of them. He is frustrated but keeps a composed face. He asks Simran and Ishaani to wait and then goes to the adjacent room with the lady. Ishaani asks hesitatingly who is this, and Simran answers that it's his wife. She is shocked. They both hear sounds, of the wife being bossy and demanding to know every single detail of his time and money spent. Simran sighs outside, narrating everything to Ishaani, as to how he earns and yet she bosses him around, and how it's actually pathetic. Ishaani is severely disturbed, as she hears Akash trying to mend things and asks her to calm down, from behind the room.

At Urmi’s residence, while Diya is unpacking and arranging her wardrobe, she finds Damini standing at the door. She asks her to come in. Damini says that she will when she goes out. Diya is boggled. Damini comes and asks her when it's time for her to leave, then why is she unpacking now. Diya asks confused. Damini hollers at her saying that she is an idiot to even think that she could get an apology out of Damini Sinha, as what she saw down there was just a pretense. She says that if one Urmi wasn't enough, now she has to deal with two noble characters in the house. She tells Diya that she is worse than Urmi, as due to Urmi, Anirudh atleast never raised his hand on her, in front of everyone. Diya apologises, and she says that she doesn't need her apology, but needs her to get out of the house. She tells Diya that she will have to, as Anirudh and Urmi might have taken this as a tragedy victims’ shelter, but she won't do that, and definitely not with her. She says that Diya will have to go for the slap that she got. Diya is tensed and distraught. Damini tells Diya evilly that Anirudh and Urmi won't let her go anywhere and she herself won't be willing to leave the house, hence she has other plans now. She asks Diya to get ready to pack her bags and leave, as her marriage prospects are coming, and she should just accept the offer and leave. Diya promise her that she will go, but she won't marry hastily. Damini says that she doesn't care but wants her out at any cost. Damini also threatens that this should be between the two of them or else there will be dire consequences and says that if Diya doesn't act according to her, then she would harm her precious Urmi and Shaurya sir so badly, that she can even barely begin to imagine. Diya is appalled and asks how can she do that. Damini says that she is indeed threatening her. She also warns Diya not to even dare talk about this to anyone else, as she only wanted to earn points with Urmi and Anirudh and impress them, so that she wins their trust and after that she can go ahead with their plan. She asks her to be tight lipped about it, and then say yes when asked for marriage. She says that she has no idea to what level she can stoop down, and asks Diya tauntingly if she remembers the assault. Diya is distraught. Damini leaves in a hush.
Meanwhile, Shaurya is humming romantic numbers, when Ishaani comes in teasing him about his change of behaviour and how it all indicates that he is in love. He is taken aback, as that's exactly what he has been deliberately denying. He is flustered as he asks her not to imagine things. She says that she is sure. He asks if she is an expert on love and then changes the topic asking her about her work. She says that the work is fine, and then points out what she heard earlier in the day. He wards it off not taking it seriously while she is pretty disturbed and advocates vehemently about Akash’s torturous condition. He brands her as naive and blindly in love with Akash. She gets angry and he teases her furthermore. Deliberately pronouncing the actor’s name wrong.

Downstairs, as Diya comes and joins them, Anirudh, Diya and Sandhya are discussing about Diya’s prospective suitor when he says that he did a thorough checkup, and found them highly respectable, and then to get a closer view first hand, he went to meet them. Urmi is surprised. He says that they seem like the perfect family. Damini comes pretending to be very concerned and lovable towards Diya, saying that she will agree to the marriage only when Diya gives her consent, as otherwise it shall be rejected. Diya is shaken. Anirudh complies. He asks Diya what is her decision. Damini waits and then asks Diya to be carefree and tell what she thought. She signals her to say yes, or else the consequences won't be good. Diya addresses her saying that it's a big step and she needs a little time. Damini is irritated but doesn't show it. Urmi says that she can take all the time she needs, as she should meet the guy and get to understand him, and then take a decision. Diya sits tensedly.

At Awaz Office, Shaurya comes out of his office, along with Chiku, to hear employees discussing Diya’s case, and one of them leeringly says that she can't come to the office now having lost her self respect, and hence she can go take up other lucrative businesses, minting money. He keeps insinuating filthy stuff about Diya. Shaurya is unable to take it any longer, and then beats the hell out of him, while Chiku asks Shaurya to let him be. He asks the employee how dare he talk about Diya like this. The others apologise and get the leering person out of Shaurya’s grip and take him away. Chiku asks why is he overreacting so much. Shaurya asks if he was, and if Chiku heard all what they were saying. Chiku asks whose mouths he will cover and keep mum, as people with such negative mentality will keep talking like this. Shaurya says that no-one will say anything about his Diya. Chiku is taken aback. Shaurya is himself frustrated and boggled with his own confession, and goes inside. Chiku is tensed.

At Urmi’s residence, Shaurya paces around nervously in his room, unable to take these strong emotions that he feels for Diya. He remembers how his mother told him that he is looking for an exact Diya as the life partner, and the recent moments, that have led him to question his emotions. He smiles as he remembers his moments with Diya. He doses off to sleep.

The next morning, while Diya is praying, Shaurya comes very close to her, leaving in, while she prays with her eyes closed. Just when she opens her eyes, he too begins to pray. Then she gives him prasad which he takes, without taking his eyes off her. She leaves while he keeps glaring at her.
Later, as Urmi is about to go take a bath, the maid comes and says that she is going to the market and if she would like to have something. Urmi denies. Rani leaves. She goes to the bathroom. Someone with gloves locks it from outside and then turns on the steam bath to the fullest temperature. Urmi notices this inside and wonders who switched on the steam. She tries to go out to find out what could have happened, but finds the door locked. She starts hollering for Diya, Shaurya and Damini. Downstairs, all are sitting on the sofa. Sandhya shows Diya the article that has come about her. Just then they hear Urmi’s screams, while she distraughtedly tries to pull the door open while Urmi’s hassled.

Damini asks Diya to go rush and see what's the matter. She hurriedly complies. Urmi keeps screaming as the steam comes in full blown. Diya and Sandhya run up the stairs, while Urmi finally starts suffocating due to the steam and falls on the ground Unconmscious, unable to shout anymore. Diya comes and opens the door, and finds Urmi on the ground. She goes to her and helps her get up. Later, as Urmi sits on the bed, with steam burns, Diya asks if she is okay. She complies. Damini asks how did this happen. Sandhya says that it's very weird, that the steam was full blown and the door was locked from outside.
