Sunday Update On Lies Of The Heart Episode 426 - 428

At Urmi’s residence, Ishaani rudely tells Diya to stay out of it, when she tries to point out that her way of talking to her mother isn't right. Ishaani asks her grandma what's going on and who is she. Damini introduces Diya as Shaurya staff and then asks Diya to stay out of their family affair.
She also adds that she won't bear anyone talking to Ishaani like that. Diya tells Urmi, and Urmi too tells her to stay out of it, but Diya tells Ishaani that what her mother was doing was on Shaurya’s instructions, as he plans to surprise her. Damini thanks her callously for having spoiled the surprise, and then tells everything to Ishaani. When Ishaan begins to go in a huff, Diya asks her to apologise atleast but Ishaan lashes at her, saying that she shouldn't meddle in another person’s business, and warns her about the same. All are tensed. Urmi is worried as this could make her daughter hate her the more.

Later, Alok asks Damini to talk and convince Ishaani to reconsider her decision to go to Paris. Damini points out that she did everything she could, but unfortunately there are some people who can't stay in their own business, and have to meddle in others. Urmi hears this, and is hurt, as Damini points that Urmi interfered. Alok asks her to move on and talk to Ishaani again about Paris, and again Damini lashes at him and Urmi indirectly too. Alok then asks what are her future plans. Urmi says that she will never be a housewife, and that girls should be independant career woman, before marrying. Ishaani descending down the stairs, hears this, while Urmi gives a leacture on independance before marriage. Ishaani comes down and decides that she wants to get married just to spite Urmi, and she asks Damini to look for a suitable suitors for her. Alok asks what's she talking, while Urmi is stunned. Ishaani says that she wants to marry as soon as possible, as she eyes Urmi angrily.

At Awaz’s office, Shaurya gets Karan’s call, who apologises for his misbehaviour the previous night and then asks for a favour, if he can give Diya a leave. Shaurya immediately agrees, and Karan says that she has still gone, and asks him if he forces her to take a leave. Shaurya complies. Shaurya asks if there is anything special, and Karan inform him that the priest will come to fix the date of their marriage, and that will give them sometime to spend together. Shaurya agrees. After disconnecting the call, he hollers at the peon, for his negligency in keeping the mop at the wrong place and behaves highly rudely with him without understanding why he do so. Diya notices him talking to the peon like this, and is tensed. She then comes to Shaurya, asking if he can come to the cabin as he needs to talk something urgent to him. After much insistence, he finally agrees. She says that she is concerned for his anger, as he is becoming really angry, and then points out that this is happening, as he is still single, and doesn't have a girlfriend, nor is he marriaed at a marriageable age. Shaurya starts getting irritated and frustrated, while Diya continues on a rant at having found why he is so irritable. She then gives him an example of her friend, who also went through a similar situation, and piles and pesters him to meet the friend once, so that he may also help himself. In order to get rid of her, Shaurya gives her a holiday, and she gets tensed, while he urgently adds that he needs a leave from her, and asks if she doesn't need one. She doesn't resist and keeps pestering him till he agrees, and literally thwarts her out. Diya is excited at having gotten her work done, while he is frustrated to the core.

Later, Urmi comes highly tensed to Shaurya’s office and he asks what the matter is. She says that she has something urgent to talk to, and talks about Ishaani’s new whim of getting married, which shocks him. She says that she is extremely tensed as she narrates everything, and asks why she ruins her life, to hate her mother. She talks about how proud she was that Ishaani will go to Paris, with the hope that she would be a changed person when she comes back. He asks her to do the exact opposite of what she actually wants, so that Ishaani counternegates it, and ends up doing exactly what Urmi wants her to do, through reverse psychology. urmi likes the idea, and decides to start being happy about Ishaani’s marriage, so that she detests it. He asks her not to worry. He then remembers Diya’s words, and asks if she too thinks that he is angry these days. Urmi denies. He talks about Diya’s logic. She teases him that Diya might be right and he should get married indeed, and asks if she should start the search. She asks him not to change for anyone, and says that he is fine just the way he is.

At Diya’s residence, the priest gives them two dates, one of two months and the other two years from now. Diya’s brother however comments how soon it is. Karan’s mother says that it's too soon as Karan would have established his busines by then. but Karan doesn't mind and wants to get married on the first date. Diya stands tensed as the elders talk. Her father convinces her that the first date won't be a problem. They all discuss and then finally finalise on the date after two months itself, as Diya is working right now, and will be the earning member, till the time Karan establishes his business. Her brother retorts yet again. Diya tries to calm her brother down, asking him to be opposite. Diya and Karan too say that they are okay with the first date. The priest does the ceremonial tika to mark the fixing of marriage.

On the roads, as Karan and Diya enjoy a moonlight stroll, on the road, hand in hand, while reminiscening this very important day of their life. They come across some miscreants and hooligans who leeringly eye Diya and pass rude comments on her. They both are tensed and worried too. Karan runs his mouth off once again and reprimands them to stay in their limits, as if they speak more, he would bash them up but, this time he messes with the wrong people as they continue leering. Diya tries to calm Karan down and rushedly takes him away from there, while he is still furious. They are oblivious that they have irked the goons the wrong way, who now avenge to teach them a lesson.

As Diya and Karan try to get home soon, they sees silhouettes of those goons and are stopped by the goons, who instigate Karan, and he puts both him and Diya's life in danger as he gets in a fistfight with them. She begs to be left alone and apologises, but one of them holds her saying, that they will leave Karan after having taught him a lesson, so that they can enjoy with her later, for the night. She is scared. The goons nab Karan alone and overpower him, and bash him to pulp. Finally, their leader takes out the knife, and while others hold Karan, he pulls the knife to give him a fatal blow in the stomach. But just then, Diya bites hard in one of the guys’ hands, and runs away, and they get distracted from Karan and run after the girl. Karan is too scared to experience all this, and forgets his duties towards his fiancee, and runs away to save his life, not giving a damn as to what will happen to Diya. Meanwhile Diya runs from there, while they catch up with her a couple of times, and she manages to free herself from them. She finds logs of wood piled on, and hides in between them to escape them. They arrive and wonder where she went. The youngest of them finds her chappals, and they deduce that she is hiding somewhere here only. They start teasing her, as she hides in scare behind the wooden logs. They search around, while she runs out the first chance she gets, and they run after her. She starts panting and gasping for breath.

She finally finds a big dustbin and hides herself inside it, as she climbs and takes a tattered sheet over her. They reach there, and thinkt that she is too smart, and they wont let her get away that easy. The eldest starts poking through the dustbins, with a stick. She is scared as she is in hididng. Just by that dustbin, the brothers start fighting amongst themselves, and then blaming one or the other, they avenge to teach her a lesson, the next time, they find her. They finally resignedly leave off. She breathes in a sigh of relief, distraught and appalled. Finally, mustering much courage, she gets up stealthily, to notice if all are gone, and when she finds that she is alone, she breaks down, at the horrific ramifications as to what could have happened, and starts to cry inconsolably, distraught and appalled at what she just went through. She composes herself finally and gets out of the dustbin and runs away. In the middle of the road, she starts panting and gasping for breath. She tries to hitchhike for a ride back home, and finally a red minivan stops. But she is shocked as she sees who the driver is, as it turns out to be the same goons, who opens the doors, and then laugh at her leeringly. She tries to run away. they get down and nab her.

At Diya’s residence, Diya’s mother is tensed, while she is assured by her father that she is gone with Karan, and they both would be back soon, and she needn't worry. She says that Diya didn't want to go, but went on Karan’s insistence. Her father asks her to call Diya and find out. She complies, but finds that the phone is rining but no-one is picking up. She then tries Karan’s number, and it comes switched off. She gets more tensed. Her father is convinced that due to bad weather, the network won't be getting through and asks her not to be worried. She sits down.
Late in the night, her mother calls up Karan’s, to ask their whereabouts. Karan's mother says that Karan was planning to leave Diya there. Both the mothers are tensed, as Karan’s mother tells that she accidentally left her phone there only, and that she went for a walk along with Karan. They are highly tensed.

At Urmi’s residence, Diya comes with coffee, and then hesitatingly brings up the topic, of Diya to Shaurya. She asks him to fire her from the job. He stands shocked and asks what she did. She vents out her frustration at Diya, and he understands that Ishaani was wrong in this. He tells his little sister that Diya is the best employee, and that he would scold her, as she had no business shouting at his little sister. She is gratified because of that too. Then he adds that their mother Urmi likes her, and hence had called her, for the beautiful news coverage she did, on Jaamdaan’s case. Ishaani says that since their mother liked, it was obvious that she wouldn't like the girl. She tells Shaurya that Diya needn't come in the house again, and their can go out and meet Diya if she has to. He eyes her tensedly.
On the roads, the goons forcibly drag her inside, while she screams loudly lewdly and leeringly suggesting as to what they will do to her now. They then drive off, amidst her muffled screams in the van.

Diya’s screams haunt the isolated roads, as the van drives on, carrying the tale of the men’s lustful cruelty and barbarousness on Diya. Finally, the van stops and Diya is thrown out callously on the road, after she is brutally raped, violated and abused, with evident physical injuries and violence.
At the Police Station, Diya’s father and brother try to lodge a complaint, but the inspector says that they can't do anything, till 24 hours have pased. Diya’s family is worried, but the inspector assures them, after hearing the entire story, that they must be safe and that they themselves are worrying unnecessarily. The inspector says that they must be enjoying somewhere and asks if the marriage was with their compliance. Her father explains everything. The police point out that they may have escaped, but Diya’s father says that it was a love-cum-arranged marriage. The police assures them that they should go home, and if the couple still doesn't return, then they can inform him, so that they may initiate their investigation thereon. Diya’s family leaves resignedly.

At Diya’s and Karan’s residence, everyone are tensed in Diya’s family, while the night gives way to the morning daylight, without anyone sleeping a wink. Finally the doorbell rings, and Diya’s mother opens the door, while her father and brother stand tensed. Everyone are shocked to see Diya in a distraught and compromising situation. Her mother lets out a distressing scream. Diya is in an unconscious state, while her father is too stunned. Diya collapses on the floor, in their arms, while they are distraught as they desperately ask her to wake up. Later, while Diya sleeps on the bed, and all are distraught, Diya’s father calls up Karan’s mother, who anxiously asks about Diya’s condition, saying that Karan is still missing. Diya's father tells Karan's mother that Diya’s condition has highly worsened. Karan's mother asks if Diya is alright. Her father says that it feels she is in terrible health. He then asks about Karan, and gets to know that he hasn't returned yet. Her father is distraught as he sees Diya, continuing to say that Diya is in a bad condition. Karan's mother says that she will come to check on her. He disconnect the call. She turns around to face Karan, who has actually returned. Karan anxiously asks what the matter is and his mother narrates everything to her son, adding that she doesn't like that she had to lie for him. She asks how could he do this, and leave his wife to be like that, and not put up a fight atleast. She tries to teach him his responsibility as a husband. But he callously says that his life is dearer to him, than Diya and that he is more concerned with his acting career, that might have been hampered, had the goons struck him on the face. Her mother says that Diya is like her daughter but Karan continues to point out, that he barely survived, and she would have lost him, and asks her to start thinking about him, as he is actually her son and not Diya. Karan's mother is angry, while he walks out.

Meanwhile, the doctor arrives and checks Diya’s injury marks. She asks the family how it happened, and if she got in a fight. They say that they don't know anything, and ask what's wrong with her. Suddenly Diya starts screaming, having nightmares of the tragic accident that happened with her, throwing her hands in the air, and tossing and turning vehemently. She goes unconscious yet again. Her mother and father get berserk, and ask the doctor to do something. Seeing this trauma reaction of Diya, her elder brother gets to understand what has happened with his little sister and feels bad about it. The doctor asks them to go out, while she does her checkup. Her mother doesn't want to leave, but she insists Devesh, her brother to take them all out. They all anxiously wait outside, while the doctor does her exam. Everyone understand what's happened, but no-one wants to face the truth. Finally, her father breaks down, into tears. Her mother comes to him and asks why is he crying like this, as Diya is alive and she is fine. Her father says that he hopes all is fine and okay. Her mother says that all would be fine, and asks him to compose himself.

Diya's elder brother, Devesh says that he doesn't understand what's going on and hopes nothing wrong’s happened to her, and also wonder how Karan is. Her mother says that since they never did anything wrong, nothing wrong will happen to them, and that if still Karan doesn't come, then they will have to do something about that too. When the doctor comes out, she seems tensed, as she is barged with questions. The doctor tells them that Diya will have to be admitted, as she has been given first aid, but furhter treatment will be in the hospital. Her mother asks insistently what's happened to her in which the doctor then confronts her father saying that she apologises that she has to tell them that their daughter has been raped. They are shocked and distraught out of their wits, as their entire world comes crashing down. They are distraught and in tears, as her brother blames them ( their parents ) for leaving Diya so irresponsibly letting them till such late hours, and blames Karan for not being able to save his wife. He continues to reprimand them both, while they ask him to calm down. Just then, the doorbell rings, while Devesh says that he will find out, and asks them to stop crying now. He opens the doors to find Karan’s mother standing there. They are surprised.

At Urmi’s residence, Urmi comes in Shaurya’s room, and finds him sick. He complains that he is having a headache, as he had a restless night, and couldn't sleep at all and worried. She tells him that he is sensitive, and that he dreams, whether they be bad or good. He says that he doesn't feel right, as if something wrong has either happened or will happen. She asks what dream he saw. He tells his mother that it was hazy, and something related to the office, and that Diya who is otherwise headstrong, seemed weak yesterday, and needed help. He then tells about how she got a day off, due to Karan’s insistence. Urmi says that maybe that's why she bothered him in sleep. He smiles. She leaves, while he is still tensed and wonder why.

At Diya’s residence, Karan’s mother comes to Diya’s residence, asking if she is okay, and what's wrong with Diya. Her father breaks down and is about to tell Karan's mother that his daughter was raped, when Diya's mother stops her husband, saying that he is acting like an overprotective father and that Diya was just in a minor accident and that she will recover soon. Her father is surprised to sees that his wife divert the issue but also plays along. Devesh too plays with his mother’s story, and says that his sister will be okay in a week or so. He says that it seems highly doubtful, the way Diya is hurt and Karan is still missing. Diya’s father tells her that they need to find out Karan too, and insists her to come along to the police station, to file a complaint. She is however hesitant. They are boggled. Devesh says that they needn't go to the police, as they won't file a case, and they shouldn't go to the police. Her father sits tensed.
