MCM: Aaron Diaz

Our Man Crush Monday today is telenovela hottie and ABC’s Quantico actor, Aaron Diaz.
The versatile Mexican actor, model and singer completed high school in Palo Alto, California before returning to Mexico to study at the exclusive Televisa Acting School Centro de Educación Artística (CEA). That was when he realized that acting was his passion.

Diaz made his acting debut in the popular teen drama Clase 406, playing the role of Kike González. In 2008 he debuted as a designer and entrepreneur with the clothing brand, ‘Perra’
Díaz released his first album titled "Enamórate de mí" in June 2009. His second album self-titled "Aaron Diaz," was released in 2011.

Over the years, Diaz is well known for telenovelas like Teresa alongside Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli, El Talismán where he played the role of Antonio Negrete, alongside Blanca Soto and Rafael Novoa, Santa Diabla (Broken Angel),  Los Miserables  (For love and justice), Tierra de reyes ( A Passion For Revenge) to name a few.

In 2016, Díaz was cast in the ABC thriller series Quantico in the recurring role of photojournalist, León Velez
Aaron Diaz, who has risen to the heights of fame owing to his acting skills has also done publicity campaigns for tops brands like Pepsi, Sabritas, Honey Bunches of Oats, Colgate, Direct TV among others.

With a 15-year career and between one project and another, Diaz, in August 2017, was named as the face of Perry Ellis’ new fragrance for men.

In an interview late last year, Diaz revealed that he is a shy person. “Believe it or not, I’m a shy person. You think an actor can’t be shy, but I am. I act for a living so that means I basically lie for a living [Laughs] but when I put my face to a brand I want to know exactly what I’m saying comes from within.”
On his career, Diaz said, “What I’ve always looked for throughout my career is making sure I don’t play the same character over again. I’m seeing what’s out there now—I assure you what I pick to do next will be completely different from the characters that I’ve played.”

Díaz began dating his El Talismán co-star, Lola Ponce in 2012. They got married in 2015, in a private ceremony which held in Morocco. They have two daughters named Erin and Regina. The couple look happy together from all his post on social media.
