Soni who has gone to Mata's Mandir to seek blessings and also to try to get another coin gets really late since the line-up was really long, meanwhile she doesn't get the coin either as it is given to one in a million. She dejectedly leaves.
In the meantime, Mahi comes to meet Soni at her place. Durga tells her that Soni went to meet her and Mahi says that they missed each other and just as she is leaving Veer walks in. Durga tells him how Mahi and Soni missed each other. Mahi tries to leave but Veer asks her to stay and he calls Soni. He couldn't reached her. Durga suggests to call Mahi's place since Soni would be there, Mahi realises something is wrong and covers up by saying her house phone was not working. Veer asks about the coin and Mahi says that she hasn't got the pendant made yet. She finally leaves.
Soni walks home and finds Veer in the bedroom, who gives her a cold shoulder. Durga interrogates her about where she was since Mahi was there. Soni says she sat down to chat with Tayaji & Tayiji. Veer objects as to why she didn't call home and she lies that she did but could not get through. Veer and Durga walks out of the room giving her angry looks. Soni breaks down crying and calls Mahi as she gets caught up in her own lies. Mahi again asks Soni to tell Veer the entire truth. Soni promises to try. Veer drives to a secluded place and breaks down crying, questioning why Soni was lying to him. He has flashbacks of all the good and bad times with her, how she kept covering up little things.
Veer comes back home and Soni goes down to meet him,he looks very upset. Soni asked Veer where he was as she was getting worried about him. Veer furiously asks Soni as to when she started to worry about him. Veer tells Soni that she knows how to play with words and as usual they get into the conversations.
The next day, the Khurana families gather in the hall,Jyoti asked Cherry if she can borrow her necklace, Cherry says of course, then Lovely remembers that Veer and Soni's marriage anniversary was coming up soon. Lovely teases Veer and Veer says that she should asked those questions to Soni. He leaves to his room. Cherry says that she has a great idea. she says after a week they should have a party and also plan as to how they were going to celebrate it. Cherry tells them to make sure Veer doesn't know about the surprise. Everyone starts talking about the plan in a silent code.
The strange lady is busily sleeping and all of a sudden wakes up. She voiced out that she feels that Soni is in trouble.She asks Mahi if she knows anything about Soni and begs to meet Soni. Mahi consoles her and promises her that she will but she needs to rest for now. Soni is in her bedroom when she receives a call from Mahi. She asked her to meet her in the mandir temple as she needs to tell her something which she has been hiding from her. Soni questions her but Mahi refuses to tell her anything on the phone.
At the Mandir(Temple) Soni arrives at the mandir and is waiting for Mahi, they miss seeing each other. Mahi tells the lady that she needs to get thali, she hides around the stall. Mahi tells herself that if truly the strange lady is their mother she will recognize Soni immediately. Soni and the lady pass by each other and the lady goes further away. Mahi looked tensed. But the lady turns around and calls Soni's name. She comes to Soni and calls her my daughter. yes I know that you are Soni, she thanks god. Soni asked who she was? I dont know you?she said. Soni pushes her away and says that she doesn't know her. The lady tells her that she is her daughter, Soni is confused when the lady kept saying that she is her daughter. Soni sees Mahi, Mahi tells her that she was looking for her. Soni tells her that the lady was saying that she was her daughter. Mahi tells her that she knows, Soni asked her what she knows ,the lady comes there and tells Mahi that she has found Soni. Mahi asked her to go and do the pooja as she will join her in few minute. She started to pull Soni's hand. Mahi tells her to go ahead and that they will join her, she tells them to come fast. Soni is asks questions to Mahi but Mahi tells her to come with her so she tells her everything.
Mahi tells Soni everything, Soni gets upset as to how come she didn't tell her about it all this while. She asked why she always does this to her. Mahi tells her that recently she is going through alot as well. Soni and Mahi talks about whether if they should believe it or not that she is their mother. They are both confused as to whether to believe the woman claiming to be their mother or not.
