WCW: Surbhi Jyoti

Surbhi Jyoti is an Indian television actress best known for her role as Zoya Farooqui in the television series, Qubool Hai. 

Jyoti who has been active since 2010 has a Master of Arts degree in English. She started her acting career with the regional theatre and films. She has worked in Punjabi language films. However, at the end of 2012, she got a role in the television show, Qubool Hai, which was produced by 4 Lions films and was aired on Zee TV.

In the series, Jyoti played the role of Zoya Farooqui. The role won her the award for GR8! Performer of the year - Female at the Indian Television Academy Awards and Best Debut Actress at the Zee Gold Awards in 2013. Also, she won the Best Jodi awards with her co-star, Karan Singh Grover.

In 2015, she also hosted three seasons of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (Love … Look What You Made Me Do) a tv series with Meiyang Chang. She has also hosted a travel based web show called Desi Explorers Taiwan and Desi Explorers Yas Island along with many other television actors.

In Qubool Hai, she played four roles. First as Zoya Farooqui, then she played the double role of Senam and Seher and finally Mahira.

She has featured in other films like Ishqbaaaz, Tanhaiyan, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, and others. Recently, Jyoti was picked to play the lead heroine in Ekta Kapoor’s, Naagin 3.

Jyoti nicknamed Fruity spends her leisure dancing, reading or doing yoga. Jyoti style is always simple but striking. She gives more importance to her comfort rather than focusing on what is trending.
