Bhola meets Raghu and tries to apologise for his mistake. Raghu forgives him and embraces him tightly. On the other hand, Isha is shocked when she finds that Bhola has fooled her and has gone to meet Raghu.
Raghu and Janki leave the village in order to help out with Basanti’s father. Kaushalya feels elated on Raghu's departure and orders Basanti to leave immediately. However, something seems to be wrong between Kaushalya and Basanti. Basanti then tells her that she will stay for few more days. Daadi feels suspicious when she sees Kaushalya and Basanti talking discreetly, and decides to probe the matter. Meanwhile, Isha indirectly makes Bhola dance to her tunes. Later, Daadi and Aanya are shocked to find 'Mangal Sutra' in Basanti's bag.
Basanti tells Daadi that she is a married woman, and she had kept her 'Mangal Sutra' in her bag just to protect it from getting stolen during her journey. Later, while chatting, Aanya asks Basanti about her husband. Basanti tells Aanya that her husband's name is Kanhaiya, and he is very much like Raghu. Kaushalya is shocked when Daadi tells her that she does not trust Basanti and suspects a foul play. In order to get rid of Basanti, Kaushalya hatches a plan. On the other hand, Daadi is shocked to see Raghu's childhood photograph in Basanti's bag and gets suspicious. Later, Kaushalya tells Aanya that Raghu has called and informed her that Basanti's father is in his last stage and tells Aanya that Raghu will call again. Aanya is shocked to find the post office locked, but luckily the postman arrives soon. Aanya is overjoyed to receive Raghu's call. After cajoling for a few minutes, Raghu urges Aanya to ask Basanti to leave immediately as her father is not keeping well. Though Basanti knows that Kaushalya is making a story, she does not say anything.
Basanti tries her best to avoid going back, but Kaushalya does not let any of her tricks work. Finally, Kaushalya heaves a sigh of relief when Basanti leaves. However, Basanti's bullock cart meets with an accident when one of its wheels comes out. Kaushalya is shocked to see Basanti back. Daadi is now convinced that Basanti is the key to Kaushalya's wicked plans and therefore decides to keep a close eye on her. Meanwhile, Isha manages to convince Bhola to wear western outfits only and gives him a complete makeover. On the other hand, Daadi who believe Basanti have something to do with the secret behind Kaushalya’s presence gets shocked when Kaushalya finds the dismantled cog of the bullock cart from her.
