This new show is a story of a girl and her mother,
Twinkle Taneja and Leela Taneja respectively. Twinkle's mother is in the search
for a match for her daughter. Twinkle, on the other hand, is an adorable
Punjabi kudi and drama queen.
Twinkle and her mother go to the Gurudwara to meet
her match, Sunny. As the car stop at Guredvarah. Leela and heroine Twinkle
Taneja comes out. They go in and prays, Leela prays that she came here to
confirm her Twinkle relation with some guy, she want good for her and to keep
protecting her. Twinkle’s face is shown, she smiles and prays. Leela is waiting
for the groom Bhalla family. Mrs Bhalla and the groom reaches guredvarah. Mrs Bhalla
says Taneja’s are ahead of them and she shows her son their car saying the
Taneja’s family is royal family in town, he tells him to look at her car and
she have selected him for her daughter and this relation should happen. Leela
comes to them, Sunny Bhalla (groom) touches Leela’s feet, she gifts something
to Sunny and she says its shagun of 91,000 rupees. Mrs. Bhalla ask where her
daughter is? Leela says she must be busy giving food to the poor. She shows
Mrs. Bhalla that Twinkle is distributing food to the poor, they bless her, and
Leela calls her. Twinkle comes out and meet Mrs. Bhalla, she touches her feet.
Sunny's mother likes Twinkle and declares that her son would certainly marry
her. Mrs. Bhalla hugs her and makes her meet Sunny, she greets him and he
glances at her. Sunny's mother requests Leela to let Sunny and Twinkle talk in
private so that they could get to know each other. Leela says why not and Sunny
takes twinkle from there.
Sunny ask Twinkle about herself and he ask of her
hobby. She replied him that she have only 2 hobbies, one is to distribute food
in people and second is to check out boys, he is shocked. She further tells him
meter of her checking out boys, she says those who are shaven are chicken
butter for her, she like to drink wine, he is shocked and says he dont drink.
She tells him not to worry that after marriage she will make him drink too,
their couple will be good, her gang of friends will love them, she don't have
any girl friend, they can be jealous of her, she have only boy friends and it
will be fun after marriage. Listen to all this, he runs from there.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Bhalla tells Leela that the
relation is fixed from her side. After their talk, Sunny comes back rushing to
his mother with Twinkle joining him. Twinkle tells her mother that she like him
while Sunny rejects from marrying Twinkle and he leaves with his mother.
Twinkle acts like crying and says one more rejection, and if she face these
rejections so many times then who will marry her. Leela confront her daughter
that she know she must have said something that scared the boy to said no, she
ask what she said to him? She tells her mother that she will be shocked to
listen. Leela asks what will happen to her, and what kind of daughter is she.
Twinkle too blunt out and asks what kind of a mother is she? Leela threatened
to beat her. Twinkle says she is not afraid of love but her slap, they both
laugh over it. Leela asks why cant she listen to her? She says after her
father’s death, she did everything for her, she gave her love of a mother and
father, and she dont know how she will live without her and further tried to
explain her that this is the norm of society and she have to accept it as she
want to see her with her family, people will talk if she is not able to marry
her off, she cries. Twinkle can't bear to see her mother tears and says she
don't care if people talk about them, she is drama queen so her mother dont
need to get sentiments about it. She reminds her mother only two and the half
hours are left in Miss Amritsar contest. Twinkle and Leela sit in car and
starts driving. While Leela and Twinkle are at a place, another car comes
across theirs and the owner of the car is Leela's rival, Anita Luthra. Leela
ask her to take her car aside, Anita Luthra comes out and says they don't won't
move aside as they are luthras. Leela fumes. An argument breaks out between the
rivals on who would park their car ahead and they starts to show off their
status to each other where Anita says to Leela that she don't go to buy veggies
from market, as they have servants to do that. Leela agree with her and point
out that Anita still buy veggies from market. She then proudly tell Anita that
she import them from london.
Hearing this, Anita provoke Leela further that
Leela still wear clothes stolen from Chor Bazar and that she have no standard.
Leela says that's why Anita copy her in everything, like she appointed
bodyguards for herself when she see her did it. While the argument are still
on, Twinkle gives beggar some money to show it off to Anita that they are rich
than her. Anita, who does not want to be defeated starts throwing money to the
beggars. Leela again bostly tells Anita that everyone know her name but no one
knows her. An upset Anita says enough of her shit and tell her not to waste her
time. Twinkle ask Anita to behave with her mother, while people waits for the
Hero’s entry, of Yuvraj Luthra comes there in car, he shows the picture of
Leela’s car on selling website in cheap price. Seeing this, Twinkle is furious as
Anita's son insult her mother in public and she tries to puncture his tyre, but
he manages to stops her. She asks him if he think is a hero? He asks her if she
have seen her face, and tell her that she is like a maid. She also tells him
that he have no fashion sense and her small neighbour have sense than him. He
call Twinkle useless and that she is cheap. Both Twinkle and Yuvraj again fight
with each other.
Anita then threaten to crush both mother-daughter
duo under her car. To solve the issue, Preeto Ji shows up there and ask them to
stop it, she tells them that now they can toss, she brings out coin and tosses
a coin. Leela Taneja wins the toss while Anita loses. Preeto ask Anita to take
her car aside. Twinkle then tells her mother Leela that she is getting late for
the competition. Leela and Twinkle sit in the car and parks her car ahead of
Anita's. Anita who hear this thinks to herself that she have spent lacs till
now but now she will spend crores and will show her status to Leela. Amritsar
beauty queen contest starts. Later it is revealed that Twinkle would be taking
part in the Miss Amritsar contest and famous singer Mika would be judging the
contestants. Twinkle is getting ready in the dressing room, she finds one model
talking to her mother that she will work for the poor. A determined Twinkle
says only she will win the Miss Amritsar contest. Mikha Singh enters the stage
and sings Meriya Jugni song. The host announces that now their competition will
start and their second judge is Anita Luthra. To add to Twinkle's fears, she is
shocked to learned that Anita Luthra too would be judging her and that she wil
not allow her to win. The host announce the third judge as Leela Taneja,
Twinkle smiles hearing her mother name. Leela ask Anita if she thinks she will
make her daughter lose this? She adds that Anita can never win over her. The
competition starts, Twinkle comes and does the cat walk on stage, Leela gives
her thumbs up while Anita is fuming in anger. After her cat walk, the host ask
the models to tell about themselves. Twinkle again comes on stage and says she
used to get called little star, she didn't like it, but then her mother said
that she is shining star for her, she is not twinkle twinkle little star, she
want to win this and become great Twinkle. Anita writes very boring and gives
it to Mikha, Leela sees this and writes wonderful for Twinkle. Mikha who
appreciates Twinkle says she like the girl.
While Mikha is going, Anita comes to him and offers
him money telling him to do her small work. Twinkle is getting ready, she comes
to Mikha and asks if she can take selfie with him? Mikha then says he wanted
her to win but Twinkle offered him money, claiming this is cheap and he will
make sure she doesnt win. Twinkle is confused, Leela ask what happened?. To
clear their confusion, Anita comes there and informs them that she offered
Mikha 1 crore ( million ) and asked him to make her loss. She adds that they
both should get sad on their loss and she leaves. Twinkle assured her mother
that she will not lose, and will try her best. The competition starts again,
the models dance on stage, Twinkle dances too. After the dance, a model gets
sprain in her feet, Twinkle helps her and takes her to the back stage, she does
her message. Seeing Twinkle attending to her, the model name Sapna tells
Twinkle that she don't want her to lose because of her. Sapna later says she
need to win this competition for her parents, as they need her support. Twinkle
tells Sapna that she is more important than this competition.
Mikha announces Sapna, some other model and Twinkle
as the finalists. The host says now they will ask questions from the models.
Mikha ask a model if she win the competition then what will she do? The model
reply that she will work for the society. Anita ask Twinkle what she think
about neighbours, Twinkle says neighbours are like dengue mosquitoes, they
snatch their peace and neighbours should be kicked. Mikha recalls how she said
to Sapna that if she was a judge then she would have announced Sapna as the
winner for her spirit. Mikha thinks to himself that Twinkle purposely said
wrong answer so Sapna can win the contest. The host ask Mikha to announce the
result. A mindful Mikha declare that it was a tough competition and he have
taken a decision. He announces Twinkle as the winner, he makes her wear crown
while Anita fumes in anger. Leela is extremely happy and Mikha leaves.
Twinkle thanks everyone, she says someone else
deserve this crown, she then makes Sapna wear the crown and says Sapna deserve
it. Just then, someone come on bike, has helmet on his face, and picks Twinkle
up from the stage and leaves from there and takes her on a ride. Leela gets
tensed. A scared Twinkle ask who is he? Anita's son Yuvraj removes his helmet,
he says he dare her as he care, he can kidnap her or can give his life to her
because he is crazy for her.
