Monday Update On Hello Pratibha Episode 116 – 117

Read the interesting update on Hello Pratibha, episode 116-117 for Monday, November 27, showing on  Zee World. 

Mahen argues with his mother on letting Pratibha's parents stay at his home. Kaashi rejects Mahen's decision and this angers him. He declares that if she does not approve his decision, then he would have to leave the house.

 Standing at a distance, Pratibha witnesses this event. Kaashi asks Mahen if he will leave the house and his mother but Mahen says that he will choose Pratibha’s parents at this time as they need him and Pratibha more at this particular time then he leaves the room. Pratibha follows and stops him then Mahen says that he is sorry as he is not able to keep his promise. Pratibha tries to calm him by saying that she and him are the elders of the house and that they cannot leave the house and she asks Mahen to think his decision with a cool mind but Mahen asks what he is supposed to do when his mother is not listening to him and is adamant on what she wants.

Mahen says that they will leave the house if only for a short period of time and that he does not want to discuss it with Pratibha or his mother. Mahen further says that same as Partibha has some responsibilities towards this house, he has responsibilities towards Pratibha’s parents and he has to fulfil them. Pratibha asks who is saying not to fulfil them but to do it without hurting anyone. An adamant Mahen replies to his wife that he has decided and his decision is final. He leaves telling Pratibha to pack the bags and they will leave. Sunidhi is coming and finds her mother in-law standing at the door. She asks her about Bubu but she says that she has other duties to do. Then Sunidhi follows her and asks what happened, she then says that as soon as they came into this house she was not able to sleep well at night.

Sunidhi asks her what Pratibha has done. She then says that she will tell her when she herself understands what is happening. She says that Pratibha wants to take care of her parents besides looking after the house and Mahen asked permission from her to bring them in the house and when she refused he threatened her that he will leave the house if she did not accepted his proposal. Sunidhi thinks that this was a bright idea and if Mahen and Pratibha leave the house, all the property will be theirs. Sunidhi tried to convince her to let Mahen go but her mother in-law asks how can she let Mahen go as he is her elder son and tells Sunidhi to keep quiet and let her think. She adds that she is thinking of a way in which Partibha can bring her parents in the house and Mahen will also not go but she will be victorious in the end. Meanwhile Pratibha’s mother tells her husband when he receives a massage that it will be house owner and that they will have to give three months’ rent now but her husband calms her down that they will pay the rent. He also says that they will not let Mahen get his hands on the bill and they will pay it themselves.

On the other hand, Mahen and Pratibha are in the room debating as to leave the house or not. Mahens mother comes in the room and says that no one has to leave the house and she will let Pratibha bring her parents in the house but on one condition that if she fails to take care of her parents and manage the house as everyone else then, she can never meet her parents again and will have no relation with them. Both Mahen and Pratibha are shocked with her terms and conditions. Meanwhile Sunidhi is teaching Bubu a way to get her closer to Sanjeev and when they both are going, she hits Sanjeev and tells Bubu to tell him to kiss his mom but then Sanjeev falls and Sunidhi gives him his hankerchef. Sanjeev then tells Bubu to kiss his mother. Mahen and Pratibha go to meet her father.

Pratibha asks her father when he will stop scaring her in which he replied that he gets amused by scaring her and tell Mahen to sit but Mahen says that he is okay and asks how is he at which point he says that he is also okay. Pratibha’s mother informs Mahen that the doctor wanted to meet him and he goes. Pratibha asks what the matter is and he says that it is not right that they come and live in their house as they live in a joint family and have to take care of their family then Pratibha says that Mahen and she had a long discussion on the topic and it was the best solution they could find. Pratibha then adds that she is a daughter as well as a daughter in-law and she will somehow manage. Mahen comes in and says that they will take him to their house tomorrow and they will live there with them.

Mahen promises Pratibha’s father that he won’t face any problem at his home and that the doctors will discharge him tomorrow. Mahen says he is doing this all because he is like his son, his mother is also ready and has only kept the condition that Pratibha takes care of everything. Pratibha says she is his super daughter and with his support she will do anything. Sushma also asks him to agree. He says alright, but is fearful for its end. Pratibha says end will be good, and asks him to smile for a while. He does. On the other hand, Sunidhi informs her mother about Kaashi being mean and that Pratibha agreed on all the conditions, and that her mother in-law Kaashi is also a cunning lady. Sunidhi’s mother says she already knew that Kaashi is a selfish and cunning lady and wants to keep check her daughters in-law don’t send her old age. Sunidhi's mother further tells her that Kaashi is one of those women who only cares about her own well-being.

In the morning, Anmol and Peehu are excited at their grandparent’s arrival as they make up the room. Anmol says he will go for morning walk with his grandpa, Peehu says she will spend the whole day with them. Kaashi comes and says this happiness won’t last long, when their grandparents will live in their room 24/7 and they won’t be able to do any work of their own choice. She warns Peehu that she won’t be able to speak to her friends at night. Pratibha thanks her for alerting her but they will manage it all. Anmol says he will use his mother’s washroom, Peehu says she will speak to her friends on the terrace as their home is quite big. Kaashi says this doesn’t mean all their relatives begin to stay here. The bell rings, the kids run to greet them as Pratibha's parents are brought to Mahen's home. Pratibha sends the kids to bring limewater; Mahen tells them that they can only leave after Pratibha's father recovers completely.

At the same time, Kaashi shows up at the scene and stares away at Pratibha's parents and she doesn’t reply to their greetings and say after all the care from their daughter will even be better, and only then he will leave. She smiles to relieve Pratibha and Mahen and asks Sushma for a hug. The kids set the room with their grandparents. Peehu shows Sushma the bed sheet. Sushma asks Pratibha why she takes such pain as they are here for only a few days. Pratibha says no matter how many days but they will stay comfortably here. The kids go to bring their luggage, Sushma tells Pratibha that Kaashi is happy with their stay but Pratibha's father says she is just showing it off. Sushma asks him to think positive for once, Pratibha also tells her father that she has no problem with them and he will stay happy to get well soon. Pratibha's father says they always try to let them down but he has always been right.

Mahen tells Pratibha that it is good his mother meet them well and it is better they speak very less. Pratibha says it is not possible they don’t speak to each other, and they don’t meet each other. She fears what if something happens during a dinner or a tea table, Mahen says they are here to make it calm. Pratibha says she has lost her confidence about the promise she gave to Mahen and she is fearful what if she loses her promises. Mahen says she won’t lose, Pratibha asks what if she loses, then who will take care of her mother and father. Mahen says she should not have taken the challenge. Pratibha says she couldn’t make him go away from his mother because of her parents. Mahen holds her hands and says he knows she had no option but she is Pratibha Agarwal who makes impossible as possible, had she any doubt she would have never accepted this. He says it is good she has some fear and that he knows she will work really hard. And if she feels weak sometimes, he is there with her and while she is sewing a button on his shirt which she completes. She tells him she knows he plucked it himself. He smiles.

The next morning, Pratibha wakes Bubu up to drink milk. She goes to the kitchen. Kaashi watches the time, it is 5 minutes past 7 and says it is 8 now and she didn’t get her tea now. She marks the calender saying she didn’t make tea on time and is defeated. Just then, Pratibha is standing behind her with tea, Kaashi says she has been defeated, it is past 7 now. She says it is the mark of her first defeat. Pratibha apologize that had she known she would like to have tea not in her room but kitchen, she wouldn’t have waited for her in her room. Kaashi takes the cup, she says she knows Pratibha is going to be defeated. Pratibha is worried. Kaashi goes to the washroom and calls Pratibha that there is no hot water in the washroom. She comes calling Pratibha that the hot water is not there in taps. While Pratibha is serving tea to her parents, Kaashi says she will have to compromise on a few things when they will stay together as a family. Mahen comes and asks his mother what she has to compromise. Pratibha says his mother didn’t know that gieser was out of work, and she has already made the water hot for her. In the washroom, Kaashi asks Pratibha about the breakfast, Pratibha says she has already prepared porridge, Kaashi asks her to make Gajar Ka Halwa. Pratibha says she has prepared for the porridge, Kaashi asks if she is being defeated.

The next morning, Pratibha is preparing breakfast in the kitchen and the family is up for their breakfast. Anmol asks for breakfast, Pratibha gives him fruits and asks him to call Nana (grandpa) and Nani (grandma) as well. Kaashi comes to the table and watches everyone eating fruits. Pratibha says there is porridge as well; Kaashi asks if she didn’t ask something else from her. Pratibha removes the lid off the gajar ka halwa. Kaashi wonders how she managed cooking it, Peehu cheers seeing this. Sanjeev notices and says Pratibha has been burdened really much and seeing Pratibha working a lot, Sanjeev and Mahen ask her not to prepare the lunch for them, as they would have their food from the hotel. Hearing this, Kaashi declares that how could someone eat the food from hotel during this bad season and asks Pratibha if she will have to order the lunch at home as well from outside. Pratibha replies to Kaashi that no one would have to eat their food from the canteen or the hotel as she has already done the preparations for their lunch. Sushma offers to help but Pratibha rejects it, her father calls Pratibha out for breakfast, Mahen also insists and Pratibha joins them on the table.

While in the room, Pratibha's father asks Sushma where she is lost. She says she was thinking till when they will be… Pratibha's father says they will live in their daughter’s home. Sushma says he should get well soon, so they will return home. Pratibha's father says he is weak but he won’t stay here much, as he is here until he arranges for the money. Pratibha comes asking which arrangement is he talking about and where is he leaving. Sushma qualifies that they were thinking about arranging for her father’s morning walk. Pratibha asks if they are hiding something. He father says nothing and she should believe in what he is saying. Sushma asks Pratibha not to worry at all. Pratibha goes to bid good bye to Mahen and the kids.
